Incredible driving. Curious about the tires- How do you like the CR1s? Obviously theyre doing some impressive lap times- But more curious about the overall of them. Have you had them before? How well do they hold up, whats their manners like on the street (Had some summer tires that were more or less r-comps in disguise, and were damn near dangerous when cold on the streets for example), or if the pavement is wet, etc. Thanks!
Thank you! the CR1 is a great tire, I been competing in a series called vtecclub and been running them for two seasons with great results. they usually last me around 3-4 events with consistent times for the first 2-3 events. for street driving they are pretty quiet and get up to temp quick but have noticed that it takes longer to get up to tempt when the tread is low.
@@sleepy773 sorry, i went jan 29th (yesterday). i was planning to do both days but sunday sold out so fast and noone to watch my dogs. my buddies are there now. i only managed 1:32, i been watching a lot of video and my own to see where i can improve and i see a lot, lol. my buddy runs in advanced group and put down a 1:26 yesterday, idk what he did today.
@@sleepy773 That and the front straight speed was impressive. I was there the same day, but unfortunately I yeeted my car off the fishbowl in the second session (and bent all the suspension). Can't wait to be back

i have an event the end of jan. how did the new pavement feel? stupid fast time, good stuff.
New pavement feels amazing, track is much smoother and faster.
