- In this video i'm showing you how easy it is to mount your bindings yourself with minimal effort in time and money.
All you need is a drill machine that any household should have.
And a ski binding drill bit according to your bindings spec - that is listed on your binding's package for less than 10€ $ per SET ! They last for an eternity.

Disclaimer:
Mounting the skis on your own results in you being 100% responsible for what can happen in case of mistakes during the process. Possible results can be ripping out binding parts or miss ejections if you set your boot pressure or dins not accordingly to your skiing demands. This can still happen if a ski shop mounts your skis. Still, I take no responsibility for any occuring events. If you are not ready to take Responsibility for this or are unsure, consult and stick with your LOCAL ski shop for mountings. Happy Skiing !
Thanks for the video. I'll be mounting mine as soon as I can get the bits. The links are much appreciated!
Awesome
To hear !
Great vid
thanks for stopping by !
Hey Coache Trifes! I mounted my 1000 skis 25 instad of dead center. How bad is it for 171mm long ski for a park beginner? I can only 180 right now. Should I remount them? Thanks, Coach!
Thanks for the tutorial! Wondering if you have a link for the real jig that you used?
ask your local shop for a contact of regional marker / volkl rep and shoot them a request or ask the shop if they are willing to sell of theirs if there planning to get a new one themselves. they are usually not publicly sold. hence people came up with the paper templates etc.
@@CoachTrifes thank you!
Does the second thicker part of the drill bit make a mark in the ski or will it stop drilling before that happens?
Hey bud ! It doesn’t stop so it still spins but you can’t drill deeper and it doesn’t really leave a mark. Furthermore your bindings are going to be covering it anyway 😊
Hey I ski the reckoner 102 177mm. I am 178 cm tall and getting into Park riding. Would u say i should mount them center or would they be too short in the front and the back?
I’m
For example 193 tall and use 185 park skis and mount them dead center. Mounting Position really depends on your personal preference !
@@CoachTrifes ok thank you!
@@CoachTrifes is it bad for the skis if i remove the bindings and put them on again truecenter?
@@lenzklingler2025 if you seal the old holes and the new mounting Lay-out has enough space away from
The old holes it’s not a problem.
@@CoachTrifes sick thanks man!
2023-2024 Line's graphics?
Yes one of them. This is something very new that people will hear news from in due time.
Are you allowed to disclose some info on that ski in particular?🙂
@@Nicolas_Germay not yet :) just follow line in the meantime there will be more in february
@@CoachTrifes unbearable suspense!🙂🤟
How much money can I save by buying a $900 jig?
if you mount 1 ski in a couple of years, you dont save.
if you mount multiple pairs a season, you do save.
The question is though, why is it 900$ ? try asking shops for older used ones :) occasionally they are selling them for cheaps.
