These two do give at least one shit about playing to a big crowd.
Maybe two shits with all the humble pie the coach had to eat. And when CC called to the crowd. When the game was won the whole arena including the Lynx fans roared and gave a standing ovation. Reeve's face was a picture. "So this is what all the fuss is about".
It seemed like it was a home game for the Fever! So many Fever fans. Reeves should say THANK YOU for Caitlin bringing revenue instead of hating on CC.

Every home team has come to learn that. And it's always interesting to see the players response after the game. Trying to make it seem like it's normal.
She was not hating on CC. She acknowledged the grounds were there because of CC. She said the league should take advantage of that. She said nothing negative about CC.
yeah, I think this could be a beautiful thing for the fans, as long as they dont get violent. Its the closest venue for her oldest fans.

She mugged Caitlin for the entire game. Caitlin had at least 10 whistles coming to her. Caitlin beat her and she can't handle it. Caitlin was responsible for 14 points in the last quarter. The Fever should try to get Alanna Smith. When the ball keeps bouncing off the front of the rim you know that player is tired.I Hope Caitlin gets the rest she deserves and let's see how things play out. The girl got game.
Caitlin's points scored or assisted on is 855 points as of 7/15/2024, she is responsible for 40.2% of her team's total points.

I’m a Fever fan true and through. However these two ladies have been two of my most favorite players in the league all season. Good game ladies.

Great coverage. Thanks for sharing. I was at the game, long time Minnesota Lynx fan here. The Lynx, no matter if we have Phee or not, has to play for 40 minutes. Last two games, that 4th quarter (7 and then 14) has been our down fall. Hopefully against Atlanta we can dominate all four quarters. Let's go, Lynx!!

I appreciated the substantive questions and answers from all parties in these interviews, and I am a CC/Fever fan. I have been admiring the play of Alanna and Bridget. Love it that so many of these women bring heart and skill to these games.

Taurasi and Griner and the other injured players on the Olympic team makes it really clear that minimum 2 rookies should ALWAYS be present on the USA OLYMPIC roster. There’s no future benefit to not setting up your next generation, especially when you have great rookies and one exceptional one that would blow the rook off the Olympics!
Both these ladies are top notch. They need to teach their coach how to act like an adult.

Why didn't the media ask these two players the ultimate question; 'doesn't it bother you that your coach wears a tee shirt stating that 'black girls rock'"? All the white players need to walk out and possibly file a lawsuit against the league for the preposterous, racist, offensive and inflammatory shirt that their racist head coach had on. I mean, this is going way too far. It would be bad enough for a black player to wear that shirt, but for a white head coach to wear it is unacceptable. The W needs to fire this coach as an example that racism will not be tolerated.

Why are WNBA players so afraid of Caitlin Clark? If you are true basketball players, why keep grabbing her? I saw when Caitlin got the technical, the other player was literally holding Caitlin's arm, and she was fouled so many times during the game, but apparently the refs put their blinders on when Caitlin is in the game.
Two normal well spoken women. I do miss the hair weaves, long eyelashes, long nails, stumbling over their words, aggressive negative attitudes, tired of questions.

All Reeve had to do was say “The attention CC gets is good for women’s sports.” But instead she chose to handle it like a toddler. I would be embarrassed to be one of her players. Hammon, Brondello, Spoon, Quinn-- they are leaning into the CC wave. Reeve is trying to push against it. That won’t bode well for her in the long term.
And her shirt. Reeve has the most white leaning rotation right now in the league esp with Phee being out with injury. Her shirt was such a cry for attention. 😂
