I love making jellies and jams but what do you do with it. I donate to Churches for their bazaars, hostess gifts, neighbours, anyone who shows up at the house, people who gave me plant divisions, the owners of fruit trees especially crabapples, relatives, friends, family, my breakfast club members, my card playing group and I go on to use some make marinades and bbq sauce and vinaigrettes. Alas like you -the problem is jars! It’s too late this year to make your Bellini peach jam but next year…. Love to you both
My first thought was that brown paper is remeniscent of the paper they used to use to wrap butcher's deliveries in, but then the corner flopped over and my jaw hit the desk. It looks like a wood block print. Very rare. And the fact that the company still exists; I am salivating. I am sure I've seen something similar as certains and cushion covers, but unfortunately I can't remember where, other than a large house in Boulogne. (I was as small. Please forgive. :D). Bless Frauke. When she comes up for air.
What a find! The toile would look so smart in a frame as Rob suggested. It's no mystery as to what you've been up to Patrick, you've been in a jam!!! What a crop, I'm sure people like myself are envious of the crop, but thankful we don't have that huge job to take on! In the end, you are set for the winter and more...lovely! Maybe you need to set up a contract with the glass factory? Trade homemade jam for some jars? I fully understand Frauke's work ethic as I'm known as the energizer bunny in my town as well! People like us are more worn out explaining that we have the energy to do these jobs, than doing the job itself. Go Frauke!!!! Don't get in too big of a jam Patrick!!!! lol Another great video guys!!!
Obscure fact I think I saw on America's Test Kitchen: Storing apples frozen before thawing and using them in cooking helps break down cellulose, making reduction faster. Not sure if that's the case for other fruits. Most committed home canners pick up jars at charity shops, estate sales, garage sales etc. The negative aspect is they usually require labor = time to get them sparkling clean and sterile. The toile paper you found is very nice. I prefer hunt scenes to the more feminine picnic and courtship themes. Thanks for making time to put out videos of your escapades. Very entertaining.
Honestly Patrick! What are you like🤣. With all the jams and chutneys, you must be so discombobulated 😩😩it must be standing over all that suger rush😝. You have to taste. 😝. Looks delicious eitherway 💕
Hi Patrick and Stuart, Two thumbs up for Fraka, and to those preserves! I could almost smell the aromas. I did preserves in the past, so I know in the end, it costs so much and is time-consuming. We grew up on preserves in the past more than now. The best gift someone could give me is a jar of their own chutney or jam. That Toile discovery is awesome. I hope you recreate it and use it somewhere. I am a little biased because I would change the man and woman to two men. Just saying! LOL. It was great seeing you all at Lalande. I just love how my UA-cam vloggers stay in contact, like one great community. 👍 ❤
Indeed 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 for Frauke. The aromas are wonderful while cooking. We love it. Yes, they are only gifts. And for our future guests. I too was raised on home made preserves and vegetables. Wonderful. The Toile de Jouy print is fantastic. Going to LaLande and having friends like Terry and Ash and Sarah and Stephen here is amazing. We hope we will have more of that. Huge hugs and thank you😊
If you bring the fruit to a rolling simmer with half a dozen glass marbles in the pot they fall to the bottom and roll around stopping the Jam from sticking.
Imagine getting to a project & start taking off the wallpaper & finding 3, 4 perhaps even 5 layers down, that very wallpaper! It may even make it more easy to date, not only the paper but when the decor was applied or changed! How Exciting of a find!
I love that you found the toile with all the doggos! How appropriate! 🐾🐾 All the empathy of Renos in the heat, but looking forward to seeing your Little Greene shipment getting installed!
Thank you! ❤️ You know, we hadn't even thought of it, but a toile with dogs IS very appropriate! I'm looking forward to seeing the Little Greene product installation as well. 🤣
Good morning Patrick & Stuart, jam making is an art, why, so much love and dedication goes into the complete process. I bought strawberries recently, we 'cleaned' them, sliced them in half, I looked at them and into the freezer they went. I will make the jam very early one morning, I find that the best time to cook as not many people are in the kitchen. So much work, but so worth it. The paper was a fabulous find!! I am not too keen on toile, yet this pattern is exceptionally interesting with the hunting dogs and them disturbing the geese at the water's edge. That is a pattern I would use, especially in fabric. It is so wonderful when one of a kind items are found during renovation projects. Going back to the jam making, I usually pour brandy or whiskey on top of the fruit before sealing, that helps preserving never thought of adding some to the fruit before bottling. I think some brandy in peaches and pears would be great tasting. So nice when I can learn something new each day. I agree, people do not realise the work of making chutneys and jams, I give to those whom I know would appreciate it, because store bought stuff really has very little flavour. Anything home made is fabulous, flavours must be savoured and enjoyed. This episode was interesting, homely and educational. So, I will see you in the next one. Kind regards, Elize.
Jam making is wonderful. A lot of work but it makes for great presents. We are in constant renovation mode and are looking forward to getting a week off. ❤❤❤ see you next time. 😊
You could cook and freeze the peaches. Then use them in peach tarts, on ice cream and yummy in summer smoothies. Very envious of your fruit harvest. Never cooked peach Bellini jam.
I love the cooking sections of your vlogs, this takes me back to my canning days with my mother and grandmother, your talent Patrick in the kitchen is amazing. Love watching you guys.
Thank you so much. I too think about my grandmothers and great-grand aunts canning and making jams. ❤❤❤. What wonderful memories. I learned from them and am grateful. Love your comment. 💖😘💖
Love to hear that you 'change gears' for all the different calls of your chateau grounds and seasons. Besides the chateau, you take such great care of your gardens which thrive and give you back all these wonderful fruits. Wonderful to see that you do not allow them to go unappreciated, busy as you are. 💗💗
How exciting discovering this wallpaper- I can just imagine the gorgeous job you will do re- making it, Stuart ( loved the music as you removed it from the door)! You have so much bounty and can’t make the jams and chutneys fast enough… I can just see you turning one of the outbuildings into a large kitchen and production plant for your jams, chutneys, fruit pies… oh the possibilities are endless!🤪😉
Thank you. It is exciting. We will see where we can have it printed on fabric. 😊. Next big batch of fruit coming up soon. Another kitchen…. That would be great but money and logistics are not making that possible. ❤. Hygs
Former small organic farm girl here- I know EXACTLY what you are going through with the harvest. I was always happy to take off for band/ orchestra camp in August! 😆My mother routinely put up 250-300 quart jars via canning. We had a freezer just for freezing produce, extra holiday meat buys. Often since she taught primary school she did a couple small batches of jam, usually black raspberry and strawberry to give out to staff. We didn’t have AC in MI either when we ran the harvest through the kitchen. She had four big windows and fans going, but it was still 42C/102F in there at least. The first two air conditioned spaces we had were kitchen dining, parents bed room because my father worked in 100-115F in downtown Detroit every summer. Mother washed and froze fruit to make jam for holiday gifts, blanched and froze tomatoes, green beans, peas, potatoes. My all time favorite jam is black raspberry. All this food would generally last until just before spring started. Love your copper pots!
Stuart, beginning with episode 125 to the current episode, your choice of classical music accompanying the particular action you filmed is phenomenal! I am very impressed with your selections. Who knew that the harpsichord was perfect dusting music?
Thank you for noticing that. ❤️ Starting in July, I did start purchasing licenses for some classical music pieces since it seemed more appropriate for chateau music. Unfortunately, there is a company called AdRev that keeps trying to make copyright claims through UA-cam on these classical music pieces in our videos, even though we paid a license to use them.
Thanks! Yes, that is what I do, and so far the claims have been released, but not until holding our videos in escrow for almost 30 days while the dispute is pending. I think there is too much overreach allowed by that company.
Peach Bellini Jam with a clock that chimes, amazing 😂 it all looks so delicious, and organic. The wallpaper sample obviously fascinated Terry it is beautiful. I love the apron made by your friend Sarah. Well done Frauka enjoying the decorating in the summer heat she can enjoy your delicious jams. Until next week ❤😊👋🍑
It does sound. Like paradise. Amazing jams, a gorgeous clock, great friends and Toile de Jouy we never knew was there. We have Frauke tied in with everyone around us. Tomorrow is a big BBQ. Love it here. Hugs from Colombe. ❤❤❤
Hi Lynn. Right now, we don’t get enough done……. 😮. But still a lot. 😂😂. The temperature is only an issue for falling asleep upstairs. Downstairs, with our 60 inch thick walls….. it is not too bad. Huge hugs. ❤❤❤
Hi there. How are you holding up? Thank you so much for your lovely comment. We will get it protected or at least keep it in a dark room till we can. Hugs ❤❤
@@patrickjourneytothechateau9452 Thank you, Patrick, for checking in on me. I know you understand well the big hole a beloved pet leaves when they pass on! ❤️
You've made my day!! Whichever one of you choose the music, thank you!!! You've brought back memories of my childhood. My sister use to play the 1st piece of music you chose for this vlog - J. S. Bach cello inventions. I remember her slogging through the technique needed to angled her bow just right, hearing her fingers slapping against the A, D and G strings! You brought happy moments listening to her rail against Bach for "inventing" this torturous but beautiful piece of music.
Aloha Patrick and Stuart, all I can say is,”WOW!” Those peaches are gorgeous and your Peach Bellini Jam, oh , I my mouth was watering. Maybe down the road you can create a small gift shop in one of your rooms and I’m certain that people would be willing to contribute a fine, “Love Offering,” for your amazing creations🍑.
Thank you. We were a bit overwhelmed by all the peaches. And we are lucky. The jam is wonderful. We got feedback from Lalande and Lalacelle…….. they loved it. 🍾🥂🍾 The little gift shop is a fantastic idea. Love it. Huge hugs from Colombe ❤💕💖
Isn't it so nice to eat the fruits from your land. Sadly i only have an apple tree ; no peaches . However , i will make this jam now that you made it. Sounds delicious. Great job !!!😊❤
I want to try the Peach Bellini Jam! If your abundance of peaches is too much, you could always put out a free produce stand outside of the chateau grounds for your neighbors to enjoy!
It is delicious. We are so lucky. We live in an area where most people have their own trees and veggies. We are giving them to friends and now it is the start of chutney season. ❤😊❤. Huge from Colombe. ❤
Hello my darling Stuart and Patrick. I’m actually on holiday in Dubrovnik in Croatia at present and I could not wait to get back to our villa to see what you both have been up to. What a fantastic find that sample Toil di Jour paper , Wow wow it’s just amazing and I love Stuart’s idea of preserving it in a frame. I just don’t know how you both fit so much in to your day. I’m salivating here imagining what that Bellini jam tastes like as I love a Bellini cocktails. Your poor hands must be sore prepping all that fruit. By the way I made your plum jam recipe Patrick and it’s a big hit with all my friends . Looking forward to watching more cooking and baking from your kitchen . Big hugs xx😙🇨🇮
Hi Patrick Thanks for your hospitality today It was great to see you and your fantastic Chateau. Best wishes to Stuart Regards Ian & Sue from Australia
Hello you two. I wish I’d have had a bit more time and I forgot to give you a jar of Bellini Jam. 😮. Thank you for stopping by. Enjoy your remaining French vacation. It was a pleasure. Hugs and love from Colombe. ❤😊❤
The Toile paper is gorgeous. Are you thinking of getting this reproduced to use in the chateau? Sorry if this was answered and I didn't hear it. Yay for Franke. You are so lucky Patrick
Nice jam. Is the peel thin enough that you don’t notice it in the jam? I live in Canada and I’ve always peeled the peaches before making jam. And a quick tip to minimizing the foam on your mixture is to add a little butter. Yum addition of Cointreau and cremant!
Love the Toile!! Charming hunt scenes. Good luck with finding it again! The Jams, WOW so fantastic!! Chutney is so fantastic and can be eaten with anything! YUM Thanks again for sharing💕
Thanks. I think that may be true in some places, but here in the French countryside, most everyone has backyard vegetable gardens and fruit trees with their own produce so they just make their own.
Oh I do love that toile! What an amazing find! I hope you can get it reproduced, I've seen other chateau owners get theirs done, but don't know where. Even as a feature wall somewhere it'd be magical! All those peaches! Lucky guys! You did a wonderful job of the jam, it looks delicious! You could make some peach sauce or chutney, both equally moreish, with some of your surplus peaches, and why not just stew and freeze several containers so that you can make peach crumble or shortcake or whatever in the winter? So yummy with lovely hot custard! I'm about to make another batch of Lemon Honey, it disappears rapidly in my house! Big hugs and doggy pats xxx
Oh my all that cutting up of peaches! When you started cutting them the sink looked so full, but then little by little you emptied it. Isn't that a satisfying feeling? I've never made peach jam, but I make strawberry jam every year. And when I start the amount of fruit looks overwhelming, but then it all gets processed and tastes soooo delicious all through the winter. There is a toile de jouy museum outside of Paris which I've read about, but never visited. I wonder if they would have the pattern of your newly found wallpaper sample in the archives. I look forward to hearing more about the results of your research. And a big shout out to Franka for all that work in 90 degree heat!!!😓🥰
You two have been so busy jam making ! Can just imagine the wonderful aromas coming out of your kitchen❤What beautiful toile!!!! Incredible find❤❤❤I would definitely frame it!
Suggestion, when I give a jar of canned produce, I tell them if they return the jar with their name on a slip of paper put into the jar that they will be on the list for the next harvest😊
God love you for making your confiture in that heat! We had no AC growing up, and my mom insisted on making cherry jam on the hottest day of summer. Of course, we kids were in charge of pitting them and we HATED it after about 20 minutes!! To this day, I can't even think of canning ANYTHING 😂
I love the wallpaper discovery! Do you have any guess as to how old it may be before you research it? I think hunt scene prints had a resurgence of popularity here in the states in 1920s. I suspect the clues are in how the riders are dressed. The preserves look delishious! It was good to see y’all over on CD too!
Hi guys. While I was watching you make the jam, I was thinking that you should by a jar manufacturing company. And low and behold, you mentioned buying more jars. I just chuckled. It looks delicious. I get Franca totally. Stripping wallpaper is so satisfying. I like painting that way. Kudos to her for doing it in the heat. Which brings me to the puppies. Who cares about you and sunstroke. It is all about the babies. How have they been coping? Have a great week.
We should rob a second hand store of its jars 😂😂😂. Kidding. The jam is wonderful. And not anything a regular store sells. Frankie is a wonder. And indeed……. The dogs are most important. The kitchen with its thick walls and the thick stone floor is a favorite place. They love sleeping there and are all well. Thank you so much. ❤❤❤
That was a lot of canning! I absolutely love the wallpaper! Maybe not in Brown, but it was very cool nonetheless What a find! Oh guys I’m so sorry. It’s been so hot there too. Still hot here and no we are conditioning either so I feel you. The world needs more energizer Franca’s!!!!! You both look great! Keep up the good work. Sending loads of love from California.💜🤟🏻😎🫶🐬🇺🇸
My favorite fruit peaches then strawberries, rasberries, blackberries, blueberries! Applaude your using skills to enjoy fruits of your labor! YUM! We hit hundred b4 noon on 50 days over hundredthe summer & i am ready for fall any day will be Grand!
One thing about wallpapering old houses - NEVER use stripes or anything with straight lines. The walls will all be wonky and different, it doesn't work. Ask me how I know.
The wallpaper is fabulous and the chutney sounds magnificent. I would call the other marmalade or preserves, as there are still chunks of fruit - if the peaches were mashed, it would be jam. Papering an uneven wall sounds daunting - I'd consider just painting it.
Thank you. Preserves are mainly chunks and whole fruit pieces. Marmalades always include citrus peel. So, it would be considered jam. If we only painted the uneven walls, we would have no wallpaper anywhere in the chateau. 🤣
For me, I refer to how the preserves are named in 3 different languages. Jam for the English speakers. Marmalade for German speakers and Confiture for our new home country. Marmalade in the British usage is with citrus rind. All a matter of what language we use. Hugs❤
A sneaky thing to do is recycle all glass jars if they accept a proper canning lid. In the states we use Mason and Kerr brands where you can buy metal lids, metal rings that screw on, and even jars. Of course nothing was gifted that did not include the proviso that all jars come back home if you want more.
We have saved each useable jar and are already out. With the amount of fruit we harvest, staring with the unexpected wild plums…… We will have to buy jars all spring long at the brocantes. And we will. 😂😂. Hugs
@@bettychandler341that’s what I do - I have several blackberry pie and peach pie fillings in my freezer - I put them in a bag and freeze them in a pie tin so they are ready with the right shape whenever I make a crust.
That is true. I remember stories of people sleeping on the beach in Chicago along the lake in the early 1900s. And enjoying cold air in the old movie theaters. How fascinating. Hugs 😊
Gentlemen, so much has happening in the last month, let alone the last year. I wouldn’t blame you if you went on a romantic weekend away once harvest time has been completed.❤😊🥂 Ty so much on the tips for making Bellini
Sounds like you need to find a wholesale company for jars. You could also sorce old jars from brocantes and buy new lids, because the jars are easy to sanitize. It's so fun to create a little business on the side of what you are already doing. The wallpaper awesome of course! Having some to hang once again in the chateau would be the perfect touch to your decor for any room. Big hugs have a great weekend.
Lovely as always. ❤ Well done my dears. Patrick, we’ll have to start calling you Peaches! Colorado has a great climate for peaches (Palisade). I might have to plant a tree. We have an apple tree in the backyard. There is something extremely satisfying about being able to eat fruit just plucked from the tree. ❤ That toile you found was especially lovely. Nothing better than finding hidden treasures. Big hugs to you both. ❤❤
Thank you so much my friend. You made me think about the movie Connie and Carla. With Toni Collette and Nia Vardalos. Two drag queens introduce themselves……. “I’m peaches………. The other guys sais:” And I’m: And Cream……. I don’t know what that means…..”. 😂. I love it. If you have watched that movie, you have every right to call me Peaches. Yes, plant one or two peach trees. But with a lot of space in between. Finding hidden treasures is fantastic. And we got lucky. Huge hugs my friend. ❤❤❤
Love can peaches and peach jam. Did a lot of canning also. I’m soo proud of you two. You two do everything together. Keep it up. Lot of love from Tennessee USA
Thank you so much. Canning is amazing. ❤. And I always love a fellow canner 🥰👍🏻💕. We are two peas in a pod and I appreciate your wonderful comment. ❤😊❤. Hugs
That toile is stunning! Hunt scenes are a favorite of mine. What a find! I can’t wait to see what you do with it. You both have SO much to offer. You could have classes on making preserves, gardening, historic preservation/ restoration, the history of copper pans, their makers and the care of the pans….and much more. I would love to attend any and all.
That toile is lovely , I know it's not to everyone's taste but I think its lovely. I'd use it on one wall of a boot room, just as an accent wall. My house doesn't have a boot room but I can dream 😂😊
Patrick, Thanks for speaking slower. I completely understand you today. Loved the jam session. Are you considering selling all your jams at a brocant? They also make wonderful gifts. Yes we have 36* here in Florida a good part of the year but thank God for AC. The year we had a bad hurricane and had no electricity for two weeks was hell. Took a lot of cold showers. That wallpaper is beautiful and so fits the chateau. Saw you yesterday on Stephanie’s channel. Your vlogs are getting better and better. Maybe Amazon has inexpensive jam jars. The chutney sounds scrumptious.
I’m giving Franca two thumbs up! If you put a few drops of essential oil in the steamer water it will smell better than the old, stale, smokey wallpaper. I’m giving you two thumbs up for harvesting and making all of those pounds of peach preserves. The mixture of the flavors sound fabulous. You are so fortunate to have a wonderful orchard even though it’s so much work to harvest the fruit and make pounds of preserves. The toile wallpaper is lovely and quite a discovery considering it was backwards on the door. Enjoy your weekend. xx

Loved your personal story. Thank you! Black raspberry is one of my favourites as well! 💕
Frauke 👍 Really enjoy your videos 🙂
Thank you so much ❤❤
The paper is very nice! I find it hilarious that the door was covered curtain and all.😂
🤣😂🤣. It was hysterical and didn’t make any sense. And it sure is pretty. Thank you. 😊
@@JourneytotheChateau Stand firm and keep sending a copy of your license. It is probably automatically generated by AdRev.
Thanks! Yes, that is what I do, and so far the claims have been released, but not until holding our videos in escrow for almost 30 days while the dispute is pending. I think there is too much overreach allowed by that company.
Did you can any sliced peaches?
Maybe with the walls so out of square you should put fabric panels on the walls
👍
Omg no air conditioning. I don’t think I could function. You guys get so much done in that heat!!
Hi Lynn. Right now, we don’t get enough done……. 😮. But still a lot. 😂😂. The temperature is only an issue for falling asleep upstairs. Downstairs, with our 60 inch thick walls….. it is not too bad. Huge hugs. ❤❤❤
I still think you have one of the best intros of all the chateau channels!
The wallpaper is amazing! I agree - get it framed in protective glass asap!
Thank you! 👍
danke
❤😊❤. Pleasure
Hola! Hola! From Eastern Shore of Virginia. Love watching all your progress. I think “but I digress” should be a T-shirt! Love to you all!
Hello there. 😂😂😂. I love your comment. ❤❤❤
Yes! “But I digress” merch!
as I can't add more thumbs up here is mine for Frauke and this vlog 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍💖💖💖💖🍀🍀🍀🍀
Frankie thanks you. She is sitting here next to me right now ❤❤❤
Aloha Patrick and Stuart, all I can say is,”WOW!” Those peaches are gorgeous and your Peach Bellini Jam, oh , I my mouth was watering.
Thanks for sharing. Never seen you two look so well.
I’ve been absent for a bit. Good to see you both.
👍
Canning jars are expensive!! But, so worth it. It looks wonderful!
Hi Patrick
Thanks for your hospitality today It was great to see you and your fantastic Chateau. Best wishes to Stuart
Regards Ian & Sue from Australia
Hello you two. I wish I’d have had a bit more time and I forgot to give you a jar of Bellini Jam. 😮. Thank you for stopping by. Enjoy your remaining French vacation. It was a pleasure. Hugs and love from Colombe. ❤😊❤
I need some Peach Bellini in my life !!!
I have not noticed anything in the jam that resembles the peel. Yes, we had heard about the butter tip. Thanks!
Love the Toile!! Charming hunt scenes. Good luck with finding it again! The Jams, WOW so fantastic!! Chutney is so fantastic and can be eaten with anything! YUM Thanks again for sharing💕
Thank you so much for a wonderful comment. Huge hugs. ❤❤❤
Loving the toile. Jam making is a noble undertaking! Thank you for the video!
Ya’ll need to make some peach cobbler!!
🤣
👍
👍
Patrick people don’t mind paying extra for homemade jam. Because it always well worth it. 😊❤
Have u ever tried bottling Peaches . 🍑🍑 . One day I have to come and stay , make some New Zealand sconces with yr yummy jams . Great video .❤
👍Frauke
Indeed ❤👍🏻💖
Thank you. Frauke said she could smell the jam upstairs. Wonderful. The toile is stunning. Who knew? Hugs from Colombe. ❤❤
A white Bellini peach wine delicious
One day! When we have the equipment and the time. I’d love it. ❤❤❤. Thank you
Suggestion, when I give a jar of canned produce, I tell them if they return the jar with their name on a slip of paper put into the jar that they will be on the list for the next harvest😊
😂👍
That is a great idea. Thank you so much ❤❤❤
God love you for making your confiture in that heat! We had no AC growing up, and my mom insisted on making cherry jam on the hottest day of summer. Of course, we kids were in charge of pitting them and we HATED it after about 20 minutes!! To this day, I can't even think of canning ANYTHING 😂
Beautiful Toile discovery! Love watching you prepare jam, learning as I go, Enjoy the weekend! 🌹🌹🌹🌹
My mother years ago would can peaches and she would peal them slice them and add rum for the adults and non rum for the kids she said lol 😂 🥰
Lovely. Thank you for sharing. ❤
👍👍❤️
Love fruits too. And I can imagine you are ready for a break in the weather. ❤❤❤. Fall will be there soon. Hugs. 😊
One thing about wallpapering old houses - NEVER use stripes or anything with straight lines. The walls will all be wonky and different, it doesn't work. Ask me how I know.
So you do know 😂😊😂. It is hard. We have patterns but no stripes. 😮😮😮. Oh well. We will show the disaster or triumph. Hugs
So worth the labour of making your own jam! Tastes like jam❤
The wallpaper was so incredibly beautiful! ❤
Absolutely agree ❤
😂😂. Hugs
Yes, we have saved glass jars for over a year now.
Oh geeze, it is a constant battle to find jars.@@patrickjourneytothechateau9452
Peaches freeze very well. Lots of produce does and you can use it later or preserve it later. You boys need help during harvest season.
Great tip and indeed, we do need help 😊❤😊
And a big freezer or two
If you like peach pie, you can also make the pie filling and freeze it, then during the winter you will have fresh peach pie!
@@bettychandler341that’s what I do - I have several blackberry pie and peach pie fillings in my freezer - I put them in a bag and freeze them in a pie tin so they are ready with the right shape whenever I make a crust.
They are men, not “boys”.
🙋🏼♀️🙋🏼♀️🙋🏼♀️ no air conditioning and never have had it. 101 degrees here. Air conditioning has only become a “necessity “ in the last 20 years.
That is true. I remember stories of people sleeping on the beach in Chicago along the lake in the early 1900s. And enjoying cold air in the old movie theaters. How fascinating. Hugs 😊
Also, if you offer a cookbook. the apron would be a great complimentary product.
Gentlemen, so much has happening in the last month, let alone the last year. I wouldn’t blame you if you went on a romantic weekend away once harvest time has been completed.❤😊🥂
Ty so much on the tips for making Bellini
Thank you so much for your kindness Judith. After the harvest we will take it easy for a week or so. Love and hugs from Colombe. ❤❤❤
The toile is gorgeous, great discovery! Franka is a gem! I absolutely love the vlogs on making jam. 🍑
That toile you found was especially lovely.
One thought regarding the peaches/fruit abundance.. why nt frees them in bags and cook the jam/chutney in winter?? Simple but good solution!
👍
Love the wall paper!!!!!
The peach jam looks yummy. I’ve been making tomato jam. I will have to try making jam with Prosecco. The wallpaper is great!❤
Patrick, Thanks for speaking slower.
You two need to put together recipes and do a book😉❣️
Gotta love that sink!
Maybe guys make peach crumble filling and freeze for the winter. Though peach fig chutney sounds yum.
It is so exciting finding the wallpaper from all those years ago! Marvellous!!😍
Absolutely. ❤❤❤
Enjoy your weekend. xx
Thank you, Stephanie! ❤️
