    All your videos are great but this one is probably the best so far. I love your concept - start with the seed and follow it’s journey all the way to harvest. No need for words, just the necessary information about the soil mix and fertilizer. The best things are very simple but thoughtfully made. By the way, what fertilizer do you use? It looks like a slow release type.

    • @TowardGarden
      @TowardGarden  Рік тому +4

      So glad that you love my videos. Yes, the fertilizer is organic slow release one. I have few of them listed on my amazon page. Thank you so much for your comment!

    I can appreciate the dedication that comes with removing each individual seedling and putting them in their own cells. I'm also of the belief that if you sow them in the cells to start with, the skipping of this step is valuable time saved.

    • @TowardGarden
      @TowardGarden  11 місяців тому +3

      I prefer sowing in a tray because I can choose the strongest/healthiest seedlings to prick out, and also pricking out gives me the opportunity to add fertile soil to the seed mix to make it rich for seedling growth. There are many ways of gardening and you may definitely start in plugs too. I hope this helps and thanks for visiting.

      So glad that you love watching my video. For pestd, I always try to prevent the damage than cure them. So I check my plants regularly, specially both side of the leaves, and if I see any signs of pests, I either spray neem oil mix or Spinosad mix (both are organic). Mix 1oz of 100% cold pressed neem oil + 1 tsp of dish soap in 1 gallon of room temp. water and spray thoroughly covering entire plant including both sides of the leaves. You can check my amazon page for few products I use for pest control www.amazon.com/shop/influencer-3dd9a3b6 . I hope this helps and thank you so much for your comment!

      Sounds exciting. Peppers prefer hot weather so I think you still have time to grow them (my peppers have survived temperature up to 110F, just use some shade if too hot). Happy growing and thank you so much for your comment!

    Another awesome video friendI have a few questions (as always LOL)...... what was that you put in the bottom of your clay pots? And why? Your Sweet Peppers harvest was AMAZING! Now that is what I call an "Abundant Blessing" Thank you for sharing your "start-to-finish" planting projects. Now I am super excited to plant my Sweet Peppers and I will follow your instructions. Be Blessed and Keep on Growing Delicious Veggies!

    • @TowardGarden
      @TowardGarden  Рік тому +2

      Hello Ms J👋. Hope all is well with you and Sophie. That is just a piece of rock I put in the bottom of the pot. Clay pots usually have one big hole for drainage and if not covered, the soil will wash out when watering, so I partially cover the hole with a piece of rock to keep the soil in pots. So glad you liked the video. It is always nice to hear from you and may God bless you too🙏

    I love your growing videos. But please may I know the components of the soil or the growing medium you use.
    What are those white substances in the soil?

    • @TowardGarden
      @TowardGarden  Рік тому

      So glad you love my videos. I always include the mix components in the video. For this video check video at 4:12 . The white particles are "perlite" which is used for drainage. You can also use vermiculite or grit instead of perlite. Hope this helps and thank you very much for your comment!

    When you are staring your seeds indoors, are you using a grow light? I am very new at this and am just wondering what to do when starting seeds. Thank you so much

    • @TowardGarden
      @TowardGarden  Рік тому +3

      I usually don't use grow lights, I keep my seed trays in a shed like room in my backyard until the seedlings sprout. As soon as they pop out, I move them outside in indirect sunlight (under a patio umbrella), or 3-4 hours of direct early morning sunlight. If you have a bright window sill with 3-4 hour of sunlight, I'd say it works much better than grow lights. But if grow lights are the only option, make sure you have plenty of them (choose ones with +4000k daylight) so plants get what they need. Hope this helps and thank you for getting in touch.
