So Happy I caught this video this morning!! Thanks as usual for sharing I ha e to say the last idea of putting the pin in the picture is a GREAT idea I've been trying to figure out different ways and this helped me out. To everyone reading this I hope you sour e and find a BOLO this week while thrifting 💞💞💯💯💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
I've never heard of the greycard concept and I've taken a bunch of film and photography courses lol 😅 great tip! I photograph against a light grey wall many times and still get that contrast issue occasionally, but I'm sure it'd happen more with a white wall (this is for clothing). Fantastic tutorial, Dalton! It sounds like a lot of us have had to use a ton of trial and error to get the set up that works for us!
Dalton, I find your videos to be extremely helpful. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge on selling, shipping, photographing merchandise, etc. I am just getting into selling online, and your videos have provided me with much needed advice on all parts of the process. Much appreciated!
Thank you. That was very helpful. I especially liked your intro to the actual photographing part. I'm just starting out with shoes (been holding back), not full-time, by any means; but it's given me some ideas on how to use my regular photo setup. Will definitely check out your other videos. Thanks again.
iPhone in camera settings I change Square Vivid Exposure +0.7 I leave exposure open to change if needed. Colors like Purple and Tan need different exposure to look right
Great info Dalton. Question. If the shoes have a flaw, do you take photos of that also and note in your listings? I appreciate your time and sharing your knowledge.
I have no idea why your using a GRAY background to start with. Google states, if you want more organic search results ranking on page 1 of google for your keywords your background needs to be 1) WHITE 2) SQUARE. They dont talk about GARY at all. And, you should be using PhotoRoom to remove that gray background and replacing it with a white background. Trust me, my images look alot better than 99% of the Ebay listings out there and i rank #1 to #3 for 80% of my keyword titles on google because im giving them what they want. You should try it. Its all about testing.
This topic isn’t black & white. There’s pros/cons to both perspectives. I think the cons outweigh the pros, but if what you’re doing is working for you, I’m happy for you.

The idea of the lazy susan is genius! Thanks!
Thanks, Dalton! I learn something from every video! I would love to see how you list on eBay first and then cross-list to list perfectly.

My Achilles heel is photographing shoes. Thank you Dalton! Need to try these ideas.

Brilliant. The lazy Susan will possibly help prevent wrist strain by reducing the number of times you have to pick up the shoes to change the angles.
Appreciate the idea of Risers; I use a table similar to yours for photography but it's so low that I'm constantly hunched over. Ordering risers now!
Your videos are concise and informative. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
I respect the clothespin system
Man, you're really helping me with my shoe flips. I just started and I've learned so much from you. I appreciate you man, thank you so much!
Happy to help!
Very ergonomically correct! Great job and so important.

Great video and tips! I just ordered your shoe trees as well! :) Thanks Dalton!
Thank you so much❤️
Thank for the tips. What do you use to clean your shoes.
Hi
The tree shoe makes the tennis shoes look really nice. But what about any kind of open toe sandals? Thanks for the video!
iPhone in camera settings I change
Square
Vivid
Exposure +0.7
I leave exposure open to change if needed. Colors like Purple and Tan need different exposure to look right
Great video! Thanks! 😊
Great teaching video as always.
I do have to say you messed with my brain by flipping the image on the closing clip. LOL
I pointed the wrong way, had to fix it😂
Nice video,very helpful
Thank you for your knowledge ❤❤❤

Great video!! Id never thought of tucking the shoe laces in, but it makes a lot of sense and looks so much better. Thanks for the info!!
i sell shoes too. i would add the inside heel picture?
i was really disappointed that the 9.5 pink and beige shoes were no longer available I have been looking for pink tennies for a while.
What size is your lazy susan?
Chris (Daily Refinement) got the idea from Drunk Yard Dog.
Good video, less talking next time please. What size light box are those? What kind of fabric did you buy for the gray back drop?
I’ve already talked too much sorry
Light boxes are linked in the description & the fabric is from a a fabric store
Ohhh I wondered why my colors were different like black looked grey and I had a neon yellow look neon green. 😮😂
I'm having trouble understanding some of your terms as the speaking is very fast and no cc. Are you saying "plant lights,: or "clamp lights?"
I believe he is saying 'clamp' lights...because they attach by clamping them to simething
I got a turntable for cake decorating at Walmart for 11 bucks.
Nice! I could never find one that was pig enough & a plain wood color
What is your eBay store?
You should reference this video in your next "How to NOT record audio in your UA-cam videos" lol. Good info though thanks
I understand that I could literally post the cure for cancer & people are going to find Something to complain about…. But what is wrong with my audio😂
@@DealingWithDalton it might actually be my audio. I'll let ya know if I discover otherwise.
Audio seemed fine to me

@@DealingWithDalton thats your reply? Really? Time you tested it up dude!
@@mihalyfreeman5928 🥴
@@DealingWithDaltonso what's the cons of white background? Quantify them
great ideas -- you need to relax just a bit... you talk so fast.!!
I thought speed was fine
Thumbs Up, Just some friendly advice, stick with Poshmark and Ebay..... Mercari is dead and a waste of time not worth it.
I don’t sell on Mercari
Good, Keep the good videos coming 👌 I have to admit I learn something new every week watching them
