I'm sure they have luxury whiskey and such fancy drinks that connoisseurs enjoy up in heaven. Not sure how long the rations will last when Sera decides to go on her mega-bender, though
his attempted attack may have done literally nothing, intentional. However, his death gave the others the strength to keep fighting in order to avenge him. Besides this is one of those things where it really is the thought that counts. He was fully willing to die to save his friends and even though he accomplished nothing the attempt was good enough.
@@autinjones7194 I mean it fits well the theme of redemption, but I think it would be nicer if the beam clashed with Adam's or something to distract him and give Lucifer more time to get there, even if just a second. It just felt very underwhelming, though maybe that is what gives more sense to his ascension, the fact he tried having minus probabilities
@@piramaster9294 The thing is Sir Pentious only ever managed to rip off a tiny piece of Alastor's coat after multiple attemps. Adam defeated Alastor, so that means Sir Pentious wouldn't be able to even touch Adam at all. He could've potentially distracted him like you said, but definitely not manage to hit him.
What was the most heartbreaking I think was I was so confused that his whole ship was essentially vaporized in less than a second with no explosions or anything. It made me think maybe he was just badly hurt because I thought the shipped was launched back by the force. I cried so hard when he died and even harder when I saw him in heaven
I was honestly convinced (until we saw him in heaven) Pentious was never on the blimp and that he faked his death in order to get Charlie to act. PS wish he fired his death ray first even if he missed. Would have made his sacrifice feel more worth it.
Just remember this is the same guy who made multiple death weapons and loudly screamed to himself while about to blow up the hotel, "I'M SO EVIL!" ... Now look at our beautiful, derpy snake demon.
With all the laser blasts he fires in this ending fight, I think a more dramatic one would’ve just blended in with the rest. Him just vaporizing it with little effort kinda makes Sir Pentious’ death hit even harder since it feels like it was all for nothing.
It was so sudden. XD Literally a blink and you'll miss it type of deal. Poor Pentious. But hey, he got to kiss the woman of his dreams and got into Heaven. Win-win. :')
I never thought the big hero would've been Pentious. My man had a Helluva character arc and went out like a champion. And he's been rewarded for it! I'm sad he won't be part of the gang anymore but he's made it. I tip my hat to you, Sir Pentious!
I was literally so hurt seeing Sir Pentious die, especially after he finally built up the courage to kiss Cherri Bomb and tell her he loved her, but I'm really happy he got to go to heaven because of it! He's one of my favourite characters in the show and he definitely deserves to be the first sinner to go to heaven! What a legend
Let's not forget that Pentious ending up in heaven proves that redemption is possible for the sinners. We may not know the exact criteria, but I do believe it involves being selfless, Pentious knew it would end very poorly for him. But like a true hero, he faced adversity anyway. Giving his life to help save the people he's come to accept as his true friends. He entered this world a sinner, but he died a true hero, and also earns the title of being the 1st sinner redeemed.
@@dragoniccrab From what I've gathered, it has to do with why they're in hell in the first place, what their vices are. With Sir Pentious, his thing was that he built his machines to kill everyone around him because he feared that they were going to kill him first, it was this selfishness that landed him in hell. Therefore, his redemption was that he instead used his machines to sacrifice himself and protect everyone, in selflessness. So I imagine everyone would basically have to give up their major vices to redeem themselves. Oddly enough, his sacrifice also brought them all closer together. Though I don't think the rest of them will know what happened to Sir Pentious, because I feel like Sera is gonna try and cover this up, and either me the main antagonist, or at least the antagonist of season 2.
Man went out like a badass and a chump at the same time. True dork energy. Im just glad that he's popping off in heaven, because now Cherri Bomb has a reason to improve herself and try to get to heaven.
I was so freaking proud of Pentious! He did it all. He kissed and or confessed to the girl of his dreams, He sacrificed himself for both the hotel and his friends, And in the end he made it to Heaven his redemption was well earned!!!
It was obvious at least one will be redeemed... But after the small buildup Angel had in episode 6 Viv and the writers chicken out to pick any other character they could find to replace him and that was Sir Pentious. The show needed more time for development. The scenes are there but they lack buildup and true emotional impact for me to work properly.
@@cannabishornliu6119 i see no chicken out here. Sir Pentious went all in, angel was hesitant and needed more time. Woulda been a chicken out if the char who needs the most work got out the fastest.
If I've learned something all my years watching this heaven and hell stories, that's that the "ultimate sacrifice" is the Golden Ticket to cross the pearly gates. Sir Pentious risked not only his life but his immortal soul in a desperate attempt to save his friends expecting nothing in return. Someone capable of that does not belong in hell, even if they are usually a disaster of a person.
@@cannabishornliu6119 Angel is way more fucked than sir pentious ever was, Angel still needs to work harder to even be close to be redeemed, sir pentious was always a pathetic but decent guy who probably got himself in hell by poor choices messing with the wrong people in his mortal life
@@cannabishornliu6119 It's true the show is a bit rushed, (I'm afraid Amazon didn't throw them a few billion and they needed to finish it this season some time this century.) but Angel Dust is nowhere near ready to go upstairs. Pentious got the short cut of the ultimate sacrifice because he was actually willing to do it. Let's face it he was always more pathetic than evil and he went all in on Charlie's project when she forgave him. Angel loves the people at the hotel, but I can't imagine him having the guts to risk his soul for them just yet, specially when it's not even his property. He is on the right path, but he is much more of a mess than Pentious, he needs more work.
I remember being so pissed because I didn't know they'd bring him back as an angel so I thought they gave one of my favorite characters the crappiest death scene ever as if he was a joke.
A PERFECT death for him. No major change to his character. The point was he already became a good person. Not because of his weapons. Earning his place in heaven by using a weapon would feel cheaper like his growth meant nothing. Earning it by proving that he never needed to actually use his weapons is perfect.
Honestly, if someone asks you if you're out of your mind, Yes is probably the only correct answer. And my man Pentious went full on ride or die, and went like a legend

They did my boy dirty here, he does nothing to Adam and gets insta killed, you can't even say he bought them some time. At least he literally ascended
his attempted attack may have done literally nothing, intentional.
@@piramaster9294 agreed
@@piramaster9294 The thing is Sir Pentious only ever managed to rip off a tiny piece of Alastor's coat after multiple attemps. What was the most heartbreaking I think was I was so confused that his whole ship was essentially vaporized in less than a second with no explosions or anything. It made me think maybe he was just badly hurt because I thought the shipped was launched back by the force. I cried so hard when he died and even harder when I saw him in heaven
If Adam's power is that great to vaporize Pentious and his ship, it says a lot that Alastor survived his fight (though barely)
@@meghanruth8655 He came back later perfectly fine though
I was honestly convinced (until we saw him in heaven) Pentious was never on the blimp and that he faked his death in order to get Charlie to act.
PS wish he fired his death ray first even if he missed. Would have made his sacrifice feel more worth it.
Прошу помнить:
Из Ада можно попасть в рай,
а из рая в ад ещё проще

I love him he did his best 😭
Just remember this is the same guy who made multiple death weapons and loudly screamed to himself while about to blow up the hotel, "I'M SO EVIL!" ... Now look at our beautiful, derpy snake demon.
I thought the way Adam killed him was underwhelming. I would've liked it to have been more dramatic. Respect to the kiss, real smooth
With all the laser blasts he fires in this ending fight, I think a more dramatic one would’ve just blended in with the rest. Him just vaporizing it with little effort kinda makes Sir Pentious’ death hit even harder since it feels like it was all for nothing.

What a legend
his character development was crazy, I hope he can reunite with Cherri Bomb in season 2 since I feel like they'd be the funniest couple in the show
@@Saiphhdefinitely
Let's not forget that Pentious ending up in heaven proves that redemption is possible for the sinners. We may not know the exact criteria, but I do believe it involves being selfless, Pentious knew it would end very poorly for him. But like a true hero, he faced adversity anyway. Giving his life to help save the people he's come to accept as his true friends. He entered this world a sinner, but he died a true hero, and also earns the title of being the 1st sinner redeemed.
@@dragoniccrab Fr, I hope we get to see more of Sir Pentious, and explore the possibility of redemption being proven in season 2!
Bro went out not only as a hero but a god dam legend in hell
The way his top hat eye just lighten up when Pentious kisses Cherry bomb is so precious
HELP WAIT IT LITERALLY IS 😭
Man went out like a badass and a chump at the same time. True dork energy. Im just glad that he's popping off in heaven, because now Cherri Bomb has a reason to improve herself and try to get to heaven.
Anything to get them Double D’s I suppose
I was so freaking proud of Pentious! He did it all. He kissed and or confessed to the girl of his dreams, He sacrificed himself for both the hotel and his friends, And in the end he made it to Heaven his redemption was well earned!!!
"Did you die?"
"Sadly, yes. But I lived!"
The Hotel sure is gonna be fully booked in season 2. Niffty's gonna need a whole cleaning staff.
Seeing him go to heaven brought me to tears in seconds...
He succeed.
That son of a gun did it
THE FACT THAT CHARLIES PLAN ACTUALLY FUCKING WORKED?!?! HELL YES!!!
Finally a straight character that isn’t a parent
A PERFECT death for him. No major change to his character. The point was he already became a good person. Not because of his weapons. Earning his place in heaven by using a weapon would feel cheaper like his growth meant nothing.
Earning it by proving that he never needed to actually use his weapons is perfect.
I think defeating the leader of a group of rebelling psychopathic angels could also earn him a place in Heaven, but I get what you mean.
HOLYYY SHITTT, half of his outfit has hearts!!! along with a kiss mark, showing the last moments he did was kissing cherri !
Sir Pentious has become a favorite of mine, he's so relatable and adorable at times.
Glasses and bow-tie in a heart shape literally shows how he died for love!
Honestly, if someone asks you if you're out of your mind, Yes is probably the only correct answer. And my man Pentious went full on ride or die, and went like a legend
That kiss was more climactic than his death
I thought he fully died the second time...then outta no where,"HUH? WHEREAMI?"

Pentious' actions might have been a key factor as to why Cherri Bomb might be on board with the hotel. He's inspiring her to redeem herself.
Maybe Angel dust will be the next to redeem himself then Cherri bomb.
