Good guide. MP isnt as demanding as WZ, its easy to build a cheap rig for playing comp specifly. Consoles have their place, but in this case the flexibitly that a PC offers is a big advantage.
Why do most settings guides recommend not using DLSS? (Not Frame Generation, the upscaling) I hit the same FPS numbers on DLSS balanced vs 85% render resolution. The image is sharper, more stabke, better anti aliasing is build in and comes without artifacts like ghosting or blurryness. For me its easier to spot enemies this way and i don't see any disatvantages. But admitingly im not the best player so maybe there are nuances i cant feel.
@@elhomoflow It can sometimes come down to personal opinion, what looks good to you might not look good to me and vice versa.
The main reason is that the DLSS and FSR algorithms can cause increased input delay. Also, FIDELITYFXCAS is a variable sharpening tool, which makes blurrier parts of the image sharper, while not affecting the sharper parts of the image to create an equally sharp image across the whole screen. Most Pro/Competitive players choose this for good reason, but average or casual players may not see any benefit
This is why i go with amd graphics cards for comp u dont need all the stuff nvidia offers. Ik its on the pricer side but i just bought a rx 7900 xtx i play it at 4k max settings no frame generation and i get 120 fps.
@@jwisdomttv8370 I was actually thinking of moving to AMD GPU aswell
@INTHEARKADE I've had 2 amd cards and I have zero complaints. I play cod and apex so I don't need ray tracing so for me amd is the way
@INTHEARKADE on Amazon the 7900xtx is 15 percent off. 850 for the best amd card is a steal
@@jwisdomttv8370 I’m the same, never used raytracing and be surprised if I ever will
@@INTHEARKADE same, thinking about change my RTX 2070 Super to RX 7900 GRE it will be nice gpu for my R5 5600. Atm for 1080p will be kinda overkill but in near future want to change monitor for 1440p. Before I had some AMD cards like R9 270X and RX 5500 XT and never had any issue with drivers like a lot of ppl talking about.
I have a 3070 laptop and using ur setting and any settings in this matter i only get 60-80fps any way i could get more?
@@Alphain if you follow my settings guide you should get a lot more than that. I think you need to check other things such as drivers, and windows settings. Also your laptop may not run at full speed on battery, so be sure to check it’s plugged in on charge while testing
@@Alphain also, make sure “path tracing/ray tracing” is off
@@INTHEARKADE pretty much did all these things yet getting low fps and also path tracing is off
160 Likes to go! C’monnnnn
Nice video. I'd still recommend a 4060 to keep the PC relevant for a few years. Or perhaps it can be purchased later down the line when cod gets more demanding.
@@makflakes you can pick up a 2060 for around $90-120 used but it’s mainly just to show this is the lowest you can go, I wouldn’t bother with anything lower or older but if you can afford it at the time then go for something newer/faster
It doesnt play cod at 4k 120hz
What doesn't?
Nice video! Really interesting what you can do with 350 bucks. I would recommend getting a cooler for the cpu do. And not using the stock one.
@@Bobthegamer-jl9st Hey thanks for the comment! I found the PC generally very cool, GPU sits at 66c when gaming so not totally concerned there, but a cheap air cooler would deffo be worth it
