I fell in love with Edifice line and bought 15 of them (each under $100 on discount) including 526L,574D, 640D, 108D, 100L(white and black), 140D (blue and green), 150D to name a few. My next Edifice will be 730D when it gets offered on discount !
I love a good Casio for my work watch, they're tough and work really well. Also, they're cheap enough to replace if I break one, while not breaking my bank. The digitals can also show 24 hour display, not available in all watches. I usually replace the band though to fit my needs or mood. Good reviews. Keep up the good work.
This is a video full of bangers! Thanks for making this video Ben! My favourites were the Lineage LCW-M100TSE (although I specifically like the one at 4:59 with the numerals), RS-100D and Edifice EQS-950. Stunning watches! Casio ought to sponsor you because I definitely will be checking these gems out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Welcome back brother, I had noticed that your videos had disappeared from my feed and was wondering where you got to! Hope you enjoyed the winter break.

Casio and Citizen are my favorite brands. Hope to go from Casio to Cartier one day, but I’ll always have a few Casios to choose from throughout the week. 👌🏼 Wearing my Casio EFB-S108D right now, also love my EFR Tiffany. I’d be totally content with an Edifice, Oceanus, and Cartier Santos.
I'm not really a chronograph guy, but Casio does a really good job on these and I'll have to give them a second look. I also like that textured dress watch at the end and may investigate that on my own. Thanks again, Ben.
These are all outstanding. I plan on adding a not so cheap Casio this year with an Oceanus. Haven’t decided which one though. Thanks for putting this together!
I was looking at them pretty seriously along with Citizen and Seiko equivalents. They look like great watches. I have a lowly Waveceptor --the resiny version of Ben's Lineage--that has so many features I have a hard time figuring out and have to watch a video. They do so much I call them semi-smart watches. They are semi-smarter than I am. Nice review of the S100 a few years back .
I ordered an AQ230 after you talked about it in your email the other day. I just got it yesterday and it's really nice, I wore it to work today and enjoyed it for such a cheap watch. Take care and keep up the great videos!
The MTPV006 is fairly readily available on eBay or at least it was when I bought a couple a few months back. I put it on a simple black strap and it looks the absolute business. It also has the distinction of being small enough to work as a classic dress watch.
Nice list - always fun finding Casios not on every hit list. Have a look at the Edifice EF-121, an Explorer-esque GADA watch with a glossy black honeycomb dial and lumed Dauphin hands that's a real strap monster. Also, if you're looking for unique Casios, have a look in online shops in Asia, East Europe or Saudia Arabia. There are models available I have never seen before.
I'm glad you went over the chronographs, I didn't know Casio made chronographs. Not bad looking, tbh. Idk if I would prefer them to something like the Dan Henry 1964 (in silver)- I'd have to hold them both in my hands to make that decision.
I've just purchased the MPT-V006 and I love it! For such a cheap watch it oozes class. I have it on a burgandy coloured leather strap and it's my daily driver whilst my Seiko lord matic is being repaired. 😊
Great video and a really nice selection of watches. Casio produces some really amazing pieces. Especially that zenith-esque silver panda chrono is awesome and definitely on my radar. I also love how Casio outshines almost every other quartz watch manufacturer in terms of second hand alignment. I loved how perfect that was on every model in the video. Especially SEIKO and entry level swiss watchmakers should be ashamed with their alignment compared to Casio (and Citizen).
Last weekend I was buying some jeans 👖, T-Shirts , and then I see a Casio wr200 vintage with Pepsi Bazzel , was love at the first sight 😂😂😂I buy it and I m happy, even if I have another 15 whatches of different brands! As always cool video Ben !
Yes, indeed. I've bought a handful of them used off ebay for ~$15, and almost all of them restored beautifully with a little polishing And functional! I go body surfing with mine to monitor my time in the sun And durable! At the price I buy them, I do a water test by running them through a cold water cycle in my washing machine, (Come on, Rolex/Omega guys... I dare you you to do that)
I do love a Casio. Had my edifice 2 years now and I've just polished the scratches out the crystal no problem with the proper polish. Still looks new 😆
The name Edifice reminds me of office, sadly,.Pronouncing it Italian doesn't help much either. Can you do an overview of Addiesdive watches maybe? Got myself a MY-H3C and a MY-H2 Field/Flieger in a stunning blue which are absolutely superb in every way! Well, changed the strap though ;) Thanks Ben, great review and always a pleasure to watch! 🧡 Cheers from Bremen/Germany!
Bought the EFR-S108D-7AV (Casioak Edifice white dial). First i was underwhelmed but now i wear it very often. It looks good, is very thin and has high legibility (especially the white dial).
I bought a gold b145, loving it so much that I'm going to buy a silver one too, it's beautiful and extremely accurate, same movement than in the Duro the miyota 2115, barely lost a second in a month.
Ben, this is about the best watch video I've seen in awhile. It's crammed packed with information and doesn't waste a second. If this were Reddit I'd give you an award. Thanks. Well done. I'm actually rewatching.
I appreciate the video and the effort however I may correct you on the Casio A1000. The models you showed in the video were the initial releases and now, I think the best digital watch you can buy is the A1000MA-7DF. It has a different looking Milanese band. The writing and labels at the front of the watch are minimalist and very well done and overall the watch is quite a looker. I urge Ben and the viewers to take a look at this watch. It could just change your mind
I know this is out of topic but could you please recommend a mic and camera set? I would like to start a YT channel as a hobby and the quality of your videos are wonderful. Thanks!
Just checked the EFV 100/140 is available online in my city. Actually went to search the retail stores a few years (couldn't find) when it was shown in one of your videos. Now contemplating...
Black a1000 on a mesh bracelet with a positive a700 module. There. Best looking digital casio ever made. Not super cheap, but insanely handsome with that black mother of pearl dial. And being slightly bigger than a700, will fit more average sized wrists. There's also a gold coloured version, also very pretty, if you're into that look.
I also have one but i doubt its sapphire crystal glass, i mean it didn't stand the water droplet test which we do to test the authenticity of a sapphire glass (and before you say, its an og i bought for like 10k inr and it has been successfully register on casio online for extended warranty as well)
I have the gorgeous silver EFB-730D chronograph, which I think is currently the best looking affordable Edifice. It is definitely a looker, has a fantastic sunburst effect, sapphire crystal and it looks like a million bucks on your wrist. I catch myself getting lost staring at the dial often, and it gets a lot of eyes. It was to me, the best looking watch in the store that's not large, and looks classy with anything you wear.
Casio is probably the only watch brand that literally makes every single type of watch. From fully mechanical watches to smart watches. And everything in-between.
I will have disagree with the statement regarding the Casio lineage strap versatility. As a owner of one, I've worn it a grey and bond NATO strap which looks pretty good on it as well as an aqua terra like rubber strap, currently wearing it on a sail cloth strap and doesn't look out of place at all. Quite a strap monster if you ask me. Would share photos but think UA-cam will probably flag the comment
I've been wearing the EFV-110d as my daily driver for almost 2 years now on a milanaise bracelet and I still love it to bits. It's the perfect 35mm GADA watch!
i have an EFV-100L-7A and i love it, but when the orange EFV-100D-9A came out i really struggled not to buy that one aswell :D sadly the A700W-1ACF's bracelet gives my arm hair some hard times so i am not wearing it as much as i wanted to. :/ the white AQ-230A-7A is still on my list, despite it's price it looks so elegant.
My favourite analog Casio has to be solar powered MTP-S101 with a black dial. I swapped the metal bracelet with a faux leather strap, making it look like Hamilton Khaki Field from a distance. The EFV110 has been very hard to get for a long time. I put off getting the white dial version thinking I'd be able to get one later on. Nope. As far as the Edifice chronos, I was lucky enough to pick up the discontinued EF-503 which has VERY heavy Speedmaster vibes, and gets attention from people who know nothing about watches. I think the Lineage is the one I need to get next, ticks so many boxes.
we all have different tastes, but easy enough to get a Japan market or US import now in the UK, just order them up and they arrive, so I dont restrict myself to what is officially available here

I love the Casio watches and I agree with all these. Good call on the Edifice chronograph also. However, I have to say.. much as I love the watch and all that it offers, for some reason I just don't like the barrel case of the EFB-730D. If like me, you don't care for the barrel case of the EFB-730D you can opt for the EFB-710D which in my opinion is a better looking watch with from what I gather, the same specs or possibly even better as it was slightly higher priced initially.. If I remember correctly, initially the EFB-710D had an RRP of £179 wheras the EFB-730D had an RRP of £139. However, you can buy both for less than that now. I suspect they may be the "same" watch wearing a different exterior. The sub dial positioning is 6, 9, 12 on the 710 opposed to 3, 6, 9 on the 730.
@@Vikrum_ Hey man, what does OP mean? Sorry I'm not very up to date on the interwebs slang terms!
