Guirrasy is having his best season at close to 30 years old and I see people wanting him over Duran, forgetting that Duran can only get better. Guirrasy is a developed Jackson. Duran is a different profile with good physical attributes we lack in attack. And he might also blow up next season. Finally, I don't want our top 2 strikers being African because Afcon will surely come and we lose both.
I see him more as a stop gap so that we can wait for the next big thing to appear
Duran is overpriced kid, if Villa accept less than 30mill then fine

Guirassie played against Chelsea when we played Lile, and we beat them twice if not mistaken. After that he went in Germany and became very lethal, i think he will be a better option for us.

This is an incredible signing. If he can integrate with fellow South Americans we are in for a treat. I don't know how to explain it. Mudryk has to now step up differently because when it's this brudda turn he is not budging from the left side. He is that good. He will be the first name on the team sheet. What then is the point of Duran? 40mil is a gamble. If he don't come good in a season or two, what are the chances of return on investment? Guirassy on the other hand, for the price we would pay is a win win surely if he performs or not. We could easily recoup our investment plus you have a finished product that would hit the ground running unlike Duran.

I suggest we stick with Nkunku, Fofana and Jackson upfront. Nkunku and Fofana haven't been given real opportunities to show what they can do.
All it takes is a good coach to instill the confidence in a player to thrive. All these new players aren't necessary and just bloats the dressing room making it harder to find the right synergy.
Start the season with Jackson/Nkunku and keep Fofana as backup. Simple.
