Hi, I have Suzuki Swift 2013 that use H4 (Hi and Low on one bulb). I'm replacing the headlight with projector and now the Low-beam use H7 and Hi-beam use H1. The problem is when at night with Low-beam is on, I switched the Hi-beam on but it will turn off the Low-beam. Do you know how to make the Low-beam stays on when I'm using the Hi-beam? Thanks
I had this for a while, the 12v wire melted with the in line fuse. Is it better idea to have two of these instead of one 12v powering both sides? Too much load?
I didn't purchase from you, but I have the kensun HID bi xenon kit I installed on my 2006 jeep liberty. My driver side is dimmer than the passenger side with low beams. When I turn my high beams on the driver side dims even more and the passenger side gets brighter. Any thoughts on what the issue could be?
I bought a xentec kit, and my harness doesn't have that blue connector to put into my old headlight connector, I was told I just put the 3 prongs into the old connector
So I have h1 projectors and h1 Hid's, I have a 1991 Chevy caprice and the hookups are 9004/hb1, is this what I need for a relay to hook the H1 Hid's up to my car?
I have bi xenon hid dual beam 9007. Can you please tell me what would cause my lights to work on high beam but when I turn on low beam all they do flash off and on
Hello Tom I have a kit from another seller however the harness and relay are the same it is a 9004/9007 Kit stickered as 9007 and I matched up the wiring with the one you explained in this video. I was wondering if you had any suggestions as to why (when I have everything connected up as you explained here and as well as the installation instructions that came with the kit) I have one buld that is constant hot when the headlamp switch is in the off position and when I turn it on both bulbs go hot? I have double and triple checked everything to be 110% sure t is connect correctly. I was attempting this install in a 2002 Ford F250 Super Duty, no daytime running lights. I tried two kits from two company's with the same results. I eve went as far as extending the power wire on the replay to try installing the relay on the drivers side and connect to factory wiring there and the issue followed to side of the truck. The buld that is always hot is the one on the shortest wire or always closest to the relay... Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I have already tried several times to get help from both sellers and one just sent a free replacement kit which did the same thing the other one only offer a refund if unused (eBay sell who was an ass and called me a liar after they tried to cover their mistake by telling me I don't know what I drive and wanted my vin# or a picture of my truck).. I have had nothing but trouble and no one seems to be willing to help out. If you can get me in the right direction I will be sure to make the next purchase from you.
HIDprojectors.com Ok, I'm banking on the relay as the stock bulbs work just fine. I had two sets of the HID's from different MFR both having the same issue. I have one more set from yet another MFR if it has the same issue I will give up on the idea.. I even tried swapping the relays from the two kits and when I did that nothing came on other than my factory parking lights. Thanks for the replay..
I tried to install an bixenon H4 kit today with no luck(Kensun). I hooked the wiring harness up correctly with everything in it’s place. When I flash the high beams I can hear the bulb “click” but the lights wouldn’t turn on. Ended up putting the halogens back. Are bi xenon kits just generally finicky or was mine just shot? Gonna just return them and pick up LEDs
HID will outperform LED bulbs in just about every application. Perhaps you need a better harness. I'm guessing Kensun wasn't able to help? My advice would be to purchase from an american company with a real tech support line who can help with the install in cases like these.
if my engine/battery is in the rear, hence mid engine cars, what would your advice be for connecting the wire that is needed to connect to the battery?
Kenny Yu You can tap into the fuse box in the engine bay for your 12v supply. Then just ground to the body. I put HID on my 2003 Lincoln LS and had to use this method because the battery is in the trunk of that vehicle. There is a video on my channel about it that may help you out.
Hey, can you please tell me what that wire at 2.12 is used for? I couldn't find any connectors in my ballast, amp adapters to connect them too. Thanks so much!
Oops. I'm sorry, I meant to say that IEC C7 type female connector at 1:42. The screenshot is here - www.screencast.com/t/awcg6MTasqFN. Another novice question, do I need 2 relays for a pair of projector or 1? Thanks!!!
That's for the high beam plug. If you have specific questions on our harness please contact us through the website with your order number and we'll gladly walk you through it.
What about when your HID has 4 connectors ?? It has 2 large connectors one male one female then 2 smaller connectors the red male and black is female and my ballast only has 2 wires
I got to drop the pins of HID harness relay sometime ago and now I don't remember how to install it again the first PIN is clear 12 Volt.. but I'm not sure about others in order, the label is no t clear,, please anyone? can please check it.. I mean 12 vol, Espace, ballast , lamp base , extension winding, balast, winding extension , what is winding extension ?
Sir in had ordered the bi xenon projector and it support h1 hid only i have Yamaha r15 v2 bike in which h4 connection typ socket is ....how can it connect h1 hid in to h4 connection

Best explanation I've seen thus far. Thanks!
Could this harness be used for connecting led in my bi-xenon hid projectors?
So this means one stock headlight plug remains unplugged?

Yes, the drivers side is left unplugged.
@Irman: Is this one of our kits? It doesn't sound like anything we sell.

I would suggest contacting Kensun.
I hope you see my other post to you before this one but this is the company that only sends a free replacement kit and no other help.

Could be a bad relay, bad ground, or something with your stock wiring. Some troubleshooting would be necessary to determine the root cause.

is this one wiring kit can be used for a car's two hid bulbs?
Azhar Achu yes, it is designed for two headlights.

tribalrocker Sounds like you purchased from somewhere else. I would suggest contacting them for an explanation.
Is this how high beams get actuated
Yes there is a small black D shaped plug for the high beam
