The poor man lost his daughter and still wanted to finish the work....... He just wanted a little time.... But studio denied and went with other director. And we all know how that turned out.
But even after this fiasco and pain he still completed the movie. He is truly a man of dedication and commitment.

The studio probably was aware that Snyder wouldn't just bend over and cut the end product to pieces just to appease the execs.
Here s the thing though Whedon's JL didn't turn out, like at all. Lol. Zacs was boss.

I loved the Snyder cut. I’m a Marvel fan and I’ve seen Joss Whedons JL and hated it. I’m so happy for DC fans that they got such a great movie. I hope WB revisits their plans for DCEU and sticks with Zac and let’s him tell his whole vision. I also hope they rehire Ray Fisher and give cyborg his stand alone movie. They all deserve it.

Nah. It felt like 4 hrs. We even paused it to go to the bar..come back and watch the 2nd part..that was awesome after smoking some weed. We did enjoy the movie tho. But definitely felt the 4 hrs
i paused movie when watched WW84, so boring, but not for ZSJL, yeah the slow mo is make me wanna skip some but it's still a great movie

Ray Fisher was rightfully upset. I understand now. He was the heart of the film and then joss goes, "nah let's make him totally unhinged and not the main character of this film". Fisher put his heart and soul into the film; when he says "I'm not broken. And I'm not alone", I felt that. Most people did. Zach Snyder is a master at establishing relatability between character & audience.
We want Ray Fisher to return as Cyborg. People should respect him more.

This was not a movie, but a love letter to the Justice League! It was a masterpiece in my opinion.
WB should have realised by now, if fans wanted to watch a Marvel(Disney) movie, they have so many options.. We wanted a Dark, Gritty DC movie and Zack delivered and apparently had it all set up for the future from what is apparent from the Knightmare sequence. The studio executives should get their heads out of their holes and sign the entire team up for the trilogy or for however many more movies it takes to realize Zack's vision.
Edit1: And let the man make the movie as long as he wants to. The storytelling is that much more awesome if he's given the time

@@JohnDoe-gq9hp Not making a mistake. Snyder lost his daughter to suicide during the filming of the theatrical version. That gave WB and Whedon the opportunity to shove him out the proverbial door. So when Snyder finally got to see his version of the film made its in his daughter's memory Autumn. Thats why there are subtle images and lines within about suicide prevention.

There was conflict before Autumn passed where WB didn't support Snyders vision and what he wanted to do with the film. A lot like Spiderman 3 where the studio forced Venom instead of letting the fans and creative minds behind the movie just make the movie.

I am currently rewatching the movie again. And I still would go to the theatres and see it on the big screen, if they plan to do that in the future. Going to say it. It's hands down one of the best comic book movies ever. Truly an epic.
The journey to the Snyder cut is really wonderful. The fans and the cast uniting to make this film a reality is something truly amazing and inspiring.
Ray deserves more respect and recognition.

Probably WB indulged them for a bit and then contacted their reps a asking them to pipes down or get some kind of legal action called against them!!

The Snyder cut was unbelievable honestly. I love how dark and heavy it all was, kind of refreshing now that marvel movies are all so similar

but the darkness for the sake of darkness is not what makes it good. The hope behind that darkness is what gives the movie a heart. The epic battles and death scenes, they exist to protect life, and to fight for life.
Everyone was great , but the cherries on top were Cyborg and the Ultimate was with the Flash

It's amazing that Joss Whedon managed to turn this movie into the crap that he released.
Not Whedon's fault. He was hired in the 11th hour by WB who did not trust in Snyder's vision for some reason. It was doomed to fail, no matter do directed it.
This was probably one of the best Snyder movies ever and it came from a project that he wasn't able to finish the way he wanted but was able to take the botched job that WB rushed together so that makes it even more impressive!

Zack Snyder's Justice League proves what the fans knew all along, that all of the characters needed their own stand alone films before having them join up in Justice League. WB tried to redesign the wheel with disastrous results.
No they didn't, there could have still been a good story told without having a solo film for every single character. The main issue is studio meddling, it always is with big blockbusters. Too many cooks in the kitchen.

@@tresfordays9644 might be but I noticed that where ever actor action scene (ability) comes up all the moves r always weird from beginning to end so, its not just the running . I personally dont think trying to reduce drag at that speed would make much of a difference as its at the level where effectiveness of such measure'r close non existence without capability of char like superman or alt.. just my thoughts

I really hope this is a turning point for the DCEU. There is so much untapped potential in the characters of flash and Cyborg that was just made apparent here. It is quite impressive that Zack got to introduce so many characters in one movie (yeah, i know its 4hrs long).

The Snyder cut was amazing. Although, it had pretty much the same story, it was much more coherent and made me care about every single one of the characters. It's truly a blessing to see a movie the director intended and I am hopeful we will have Zack onboard to finish the rest of his vision.

I do not speak for WB/WM or know anything that happened bts. As an employee of WB and a fan of DC (Where's a MM noir detective series?), I was thrilled to hear of the release and heard the same way you did. I made it through all 4 hours of ZSJL in 2 sittings and was nothing more than in awe and tears by the time "For Autumn" came up. To work for WB and to see this film was just amazing. The result proves Zack is an amazing filmmaker not just for popcorn, visuals, or zingers, but for real drama (300, Guardians, Watchmen, DotD, yes even Sucker Punch). If nothing comes after this for DCEU, the DC pantheon is much worse off for it. Even if all Zack does is inspire and produce after this, it'll be better than just letting these story threads die.
I just admire the fact that cyborg disnt get his own movie but got to shine through snyders cut. Was an amazing movie man. WB do not have a clue what they are doing.

The hype for it being officially announced was unreal. It even got my parents excited to see it, they are huge fans of Batman and Superman and love the actors/actresses. After work, we sat down in our living room and watched the entire film from beginning to end (without any breaks). If people are watching this movie from beginning to end, you know it truly is something special. So happy Zack got to have is vision fully realized and if this is his final DCEU film, he really left with a bang. Kudos to all involved in making this happen!
This version is much better than the theatrical cut, that’s the bottom line.

I was disappointed by the 2017 release, but I really loved the Zach Snyder updated version. I would definitely watch a sequel.
I was not expecting the Snyder Cut to be any good, and I am so glad I was wrong. It's incredible, and it did what I never expected: it made me want the entire Snyderverse restored. We need Justice League 2 and 3.
Loved the Snyder Cut, best super hero movie I have seen in a very long time, years, hope HBO gives him the green light to make more Justice League movies, the man is a legend!!!
I was not bored at all with the Snyder Cut. Same thing happened with Batman Vs Superman Ultimate Edition. They were both miles better than the theatrical version. Snyder is a brillaint storyteller when not limited by 2 hour runtime.

Bruhh the Zach sander cut was Fkn phenomenal!! I got my best friend who doesn't even like movies like that to watch and she throughly enjoyed it!! I remember being very disappointed when the first justice league came out but seeing the synder cut gave me a new level of appreciation for the film. I was entertained from beginning to end, honestly might be my favorite dc movie. Im so proud of synder for bouncing back and making this masterpiece. He really is the goat given all that he went through!!!

It’s kind of strange for me how it’s called the Snyder cut? It was HIS fucking movie from the start, WB and that marvel dude took over and trashed the first release, the thing with Snyder is he needs long movies to get his vision across, start cutting it and it’s stuffed, same thing happened with Watchmen and BvS, basically just leave him alone and he will do great things!
