This really helped me to get started with SDR. Thank you for taking the time to create this video.

Thank You for posting this. I was not able to access the QSO Ham Expo in any manner, due to their
    technical issues”.
Your SDR receivers are first class. Ditto for your SDRuno software. I used your RSPdx unit, opening 4 windows to continually monitor 4 Ham bands for FT8 / FT4 activity during the ARRL 2020 Field Day event. With the ability to almost immediately synch and transmit, the process gleamed me more contacts than I normal achieved. I have and will continue to recommend your SDR receivers to every Ham. They are a wonderful addition to a ham shack. KL1JP (Alaska)

Thank you, Daniel. It was a shame about the technical issues, I felt like I was locked outside the room banging on the door to get in! I’m sure they will resolve the issues fir next time and when they do I think it will be really powerful.
I hope you can log in and check out the live Q&A after the video, we had a good discussion.

I have been impressed with software and support offered by SDRplay especially your excellent UA-cam channel. Lack of support for Mac users is the weak point in SDRplay’s product range.
Currently using a MacBook Pro running windows under bootcamp allows me (and many others I am sure) to use the excellent SDRuno but with current Apple products now utilising M1 chip this is only a temporary workaround.
Buying a windows computer solely for SDR makes no sense.

Thank you for your comments. If you look at the SDRuno roadmap you will see multi-platform support is slated for version 2.0.
As regards your last comment, I respectfully disagree. So far I have purchased 3 windows computers specifically for SDR use, and I expounded on my opinion on "PC as an appliance" in one of the earlier videos. Rather than as in the old days where I used one PC, as powerful as I could get, to do everything, nowadays I just regard it as a "computing unit" or "embedded processor " if you will, and buy these blocks for particular needs. Bear in mind I am still primarily a Mac user!!
I hope to take delivery of an M1 Mac soon and will publish my findings, but early looks suggest it will be fantastic.

maybe... when i purchased my RSPdx it seemed like linux support for SDRuno was "coming soon". it just "works" with a VM, with very high latency and crashes. with CUBICsdr my 200 USD plus RSPdx has all the features of a 25 USD SDR. it seems like the SDRuno "roadmap" to native MAC and LINUX support was an advertising gimmick.

Native Mac support for SDRuno is still on the roadmap. Meanwhile it’s solid using CubicSDR or Fusion or Parallels VMs on my Mac Mini and MacBook.
In addition on Linux there are se veral other options including GNU Radio Companion.
If you are having issues perhaps you can open a support ticket.

For plugins go to www.sdrplay.com/plugins/ - otherwise click on "Documentation and Videos" here" www.sdrplay.com/misc/ - you can search for a particular application or topic and get links to videos and documentation.
