Byron Bay Australia is the spiritual capital of the world. New age seekers of consciousness, spirituality, enlightenment, and hippie lifestyles blossom like a lotus flower in Byron Bay. I tell you about my spiritual experiences there.
I was in a sauna the other day where a dude with an aggressive beard and a top knot was telling a Brazilian backpacker about Byron Bay and how amazingly spiritual it is. Watching this video I almost felt as if I was in that sauna again.

Haha, I took my first ever Yoga and Meditation class in Byron Bay in 1999. Bought some "earth stones", had a massage course and stood at the Arts Factory! AND it somehow changed my life ;-) today I am a fulltime yogateacher. I will be back to visit Byron soon ....

You should've climbed on board the psychedelic bus, The Happy Coach, for the ultimate tour of Byron Bay to Nimbin. Nimbin held the first Aquarius Festival back in 1973.

Your house is so clean and tidy! I feel peaceful just looking at it. I wish you would come and help me get my place looking like that. I live with wild banshees and they keep the place freaking trashed. Sigh.
JP Spears has taught me not to laugh any more, because at the end of the day, I can't laugh at someone who is making an effort to heal themselves.

A very spiritual place I've been in was Detroit Michigan.
Evil spirits, but spiritual.
I was literally attacked by a ghost even after being mugged, or threatened with by a guy with a gun or watching a guy on drugs scratching his skin off in a Jack in the Box bathroom to the point that you can see the organs inside of his body.
This is normal for Detroit and all happened within about 10 days. Nothing wrong with that.
Even after I avoided the living people of Detroit I was staying at a friend's house alone accept for this Detroit ghost in the house started attacking me.
Lol, ok, hey then I thought "Why not just stay out of Detroit"? Ahhhhhhhh, that makes sense. So I left.
They should have a city sign before entering Detroit saying "You are now entering Detroit Michigan, good luck".... yeah, that's about it.
Gold!! When I visited Byron bay, they literally had signs all around the Sunday markets reading; "no drumming circles please." They have fought against all traffic lights, resulting in horrendous traffic jams through out every roundabout, every night. Well done. You nailed this one. From Adelaide, Australia. Ps. It's a good thing you got your drop bear protection. They have a very dense population in that area. You need to be very careful.

Byron Bay, Gold Coast South, or Yuppies Paradise, along with Yamba and Bellingen (Belly ache) & Nimbin (Numb Bum) are the centres where everyone goes to get away from it all, yet bring it all with them. Usually foreigners and lost souls from Melbourne (Malborn), another pretender to Cosmos Central.

Hahahaha!!! I love Byron Bay, although I don't go in for all the spiritual stuff. I do however, enjoy a vegan lifestyle , and have enjoyed many delicious raw vegan cakes in Cape Byron.

Of course Byron Bay is the most spiritual place on Earth. It's the hometown of Parkway Drive, which is in turn the most spiritual chillax-band on Earth.
Byron Bay is notorious for people not vaccinating.
Nimbin and Byron have always had a crunchy lifestyle.
But now it's super crunchy with the possibility of a major disease outbreak on any given day.
Love the dropbear reference. I mention them every time I meet a foreigner. ^_^

It's been _a few_ years since I've been up to Byron Bay - but, when I was last there, almost every single eatery/street corner/store smelt a little, well, musky... I seriously wouldn't worry that you were going to offend any of the other customers or inadvertently evacuate wherever you choose to take advantage of the free WiFi ;-)
