Really missed you Shade. Looking forward to you designing your bathroom. I'm a DIY freak, however, you're on another level and so inspirational. Love it all. Subscriber for years, but first time commenting. 😊
Great planning, Shade. I love your videos and the preparations you both put into it and picture boards beforehand. Look forward to seeing your next video.
Loved the video. Just a suggestion, I would put the shower thermostat on the right hand side back wall, away form the shower. That will mean you can turn it on without getting wet.
It’s going to look great! I love my LED mirror as it can be used without the ceiling light so the fan isn’t activated if you just want to use the sink or get something. My heated towel rail has an element with a timer so it comes on without the central heating.
Your style is something that you like, does not matter what anyone else thinks. What a really good idea to make small scale pieces on paper to fit them in your space, like doing a cad drawing without the technology. The first thing is to decide what budget you have with a contingency. It is so easy to get carried away when you go to bathroom showrooms - A classic mistake when renovating to sell. Thanks for your practical comment re encasing toilet cisterns, something that people do not think about if they need access if there is a problem. Looking forward to this project once it has been "shadefied".
Lovely to see you again and happy belated birthday! Don’t leave it so long please can’t wait to see the finished room. Gorgeous choices of tiles and sanitary ware. ❤
I use a thing called Milanote when I'm planning any room layout, you can upload or drag ideas for colours and textiles etc. and make an actual mood board in it. I'd say your style is contemporary.
Great ideas, I always get samples of different things like carpet, tile, paint colours, I am very visual so need to see what things can look like before I spend endless amounts of money 😄
Yep! It’s so great to see you back! I’ve really missed you. Every morning, the first thing I do is check to see if you’ve posted. I was so excited to catch your sneak post this morning at 5 a.m., but unfortunately, I wasn’t the first to comment! 😢 Your videos always brighten my day, This was four years ago. It was a total nightmare at first. I found this amazing picture on Pinterest and copied everything from it-every single detail! But the journey to get my dream bathroom wasn’t easy. The first contractor totally ripped me off and did such poor work, I was left without a toilet for two weeks. Not the best situation! Then the second contractor charged me £500 just to remove the tiles and bailed on me! In the middle of all this, my brother passed away, so I wasn’t in the best headspace to deal with it all. But then, thankfully, I found the most amazing contractor who finally made my vision a reality. Now I use him for everything, and my house has never been better! So, while it started as a nightmare, it ended beautifully. Your content always reminds me of how important it is to keep pushing through, even when things seem rough. I love Rob's plan idea. Really ingenious. Thanks again for your videos-they always make me smile! When I see your notifications pop up, I rush downstairs, grab a coffee, and can’t wait to enjoy what you’ve got to share. You and Rob are both amazing. Keep up the great work! Happy (belated) birthday for last Monday, Virgo Twin! Take care and lots of love 😍

Great to see the thought process and loved the idea of doing furniture cut outs to put into the plan. I love having a bath so much too 😂
Furniture cut outs were sooo handy in this room! WIll definitely do it going forward 😆
Loved the video Shade , you should definitely do them for every room 🤩
I love your style. You're doing exactly what I like. A mix of classic style with modern mixed in.

Great choices. I'm with you classic, no trendy. You just gave me an idea to gather my inspo on pinterest for my bathroom reno.
Definitely do more of these planning videos! Helpful to see the process
Yay okay will do! 🥰
That was nice, I really appreciated how you explained the designing process and all the tips you gave!

Me too! I need to feel and see things to be sure 😆
I based my bathroom renovations on hotel bathrroms I've enjoyed. I also used Pinterest to plan out my home renovation.
Give me mixer taps and a heated towel rail any day!
Loveeeee this 😍 I’d love to know where you got those taps?
Great video!
I would like a new bathroom and my funds are there but I'm not mentally prepared for it, the last time I renewed it, it was a nightmare!
Did my bathroom 4 years ago after a leak. Had to do it twice over as i got ripped off by the first contractor.
Noo that sucks!
Yep!
