That office room turned out so lovely, I like the calm atmosphere, it looks a bit like a time capsule from, I don't know, Jane Austen times or so. I think working there will be absolutely amazing! Also glad that you said you'll change the carpets too, because maybe it would be even more perfect, if the wood under the old carpet was refurbished and equipped with a gorgeous rug 🙂
Love the wall colour. One suggestion - change out the existing ceiling light for an open weave one (like the sconce). It will add some warmth and will be in keeping with the rest of the decor.

I LOVE the green paint in there, such lovely style! People are often afraid of deep colors but they make a room feel wonderful. And at night the walls sort of recede, making a room feel spacious and cozy at the same time; it's an interesting phenomenon with dark paint. I had a living room with dark walls in our old house and everyone always wanted to hang out in THAT room. I miss it terribly. Might have to rethink where I'm living now. Glad I found your channel, a definite follow.

What a gutsy girl you are, Shade! Ive done all our DIY over the years but always balked at coving. This transformation is truly fab: the colours, the panelling, all the attention to detail makes it such a cosy and inviting sanctuary. The desk was treasure too.
