- We give detailed examples of using Epson's Optical Disc Encoder to record and control a DC motor, a very useful skill in DIY DTG Printer making. [15-10] You can modify the code for printer DTG modification or motor precision control. Three scenarios are presented: simple rotation detection, system interruptions, and precision motor control.
Product used: Epson DEI-P91 Optical Encoder with Mabuchi FK130SH08500R Motor for Epson XP Printers
All code can be accessed through the product page.

i very much liked this video , Awesome! i will be trying this soon! If nothing good ever comes from my new epson printer running out of yellow ink only , while the others are still full , i can always say that i discovered your videos on you tube . . Thank You so much for everything
Please do not do a TikTok dance! Your video is excellent, with a clear and concise description of the circuits and the code. How does this method of control differ from PID and which method gives the most accurate control of DC motor. I have been using stepper motors for my application, but would like to use a DC gear motor to achieve smooth but accurate positioning. Thank you.
this is amazing dude, keep it up
Thanks!
It was a very useful video. Thanks.
Очень круто! Когда будет продолжение? ))
That´s very interesting. And you explain it very good. 👍
I wonder how this project will turn out. I´d like to see a good DIY-DTG-Printer.
Will you publish the whole process over time?
Yes. Whenever I have time, I will make more videos.
Hi! When will the sequel be released? Very interesting topic!
Muchas Gracias!! Muy bien explicado. Desde Argentina. Thank you very much!! Very good!!
thank you very much
Thanks for this video, i hope you will make a video that you integrate this into a printer. I want to understand how you connect this with the printer so you can move the bed
Cool. How then can I make this motor the input to drive another motor which is a real stepper motor. Because in diy dtg using epson printer for example epson l1800 dtg , the feed motor drive is imitated by the stepper motor that drives the flat bed
I will keep in contact for more updates about this
Продолжение будет? )
can use this to do a diy steering wheel will be very nice
非常感谢您
不客气,谢谢光顾。
Could we control UV Led light with this? UV light on when the carriage move and off when carriage idle.
This is really helpful 😊, and one more thing i'am planning to build a PCB printer used on old inkjet printer, I want to run my stepper motor use this same concept... In your video you will show it run dc motor but I want the same method to run Nema 17 stepper motor... If u help me, I will pay money 💵... Because this is very important project.... Please help me.....
Привет. Очень интересная тема. А продолжение будет?
Hi you have a code for paper feeder epson 1430
amigo y como se hace la programacion que cuando uno mueva el encode se mueva el motor con un driver pololu
Sir, can you provide a coding tutorial for the DTF module? or do you sell the coding along with the schematic of the ino DTF file module?
请问有没有给Epson R1390的?
Good brother when would you give the code for a d and dgt
Please do a TikTok dance
you are amazing. could you please share your contacts I really need your help
I converted my epson l1800 printer to a flatbed uv printing machine, but I cannot print in the same place.
HELLO, THE EPSON L 1800 PRINTER HAS 5 PINS ON THE ENCODER, IN THE REQUEST GND SIGNAL A VCC SIGNAL B GND HOW TO CONNECT THESE PINS, HOW TO CONTACT YOU?
