Memories...memories. In the late 1990s I was on a Windjammer Barefoot Cruise, and we stayed a day at this island. We joined a lot of other tourists and islanders at the road that is just before the runway. And there is a persistent story that one aircraft came in so low, it put tire marks on a car driving along that road. In any case we had a closeup of the landing procedure. My advice? Don't fly there, take a ship.
I'm a pilot. I know about planes. The propellers are placed inside for maximum efficiency because their purpose is to keep the pilot cool. Don't believe it? Just let one stop turning and watch the pilot start to sweat!
