The Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) is in the public glare for all the wrong reasons again. Leakage during heavy rains at the terminal 1c area.
Even after the heads up from the leakage in terminal 1a, those who manage 'one of the biggest airports e.africa' still don't take action. Kenyan tax payers deserve better
It's a lesson Kenyans need to learn that voting sio kama kushangilia football teams/ matches.... watu hawakua wanashikika Na the slogan Luto the 5th 😂 now thy are seing what they voted for....the government is really over working 😄
Please stop comparing Dubai to Nairobi. There are too many differences. 1- Dubai was hit by a massive storm but Nairobi is enduring heavy rains. 2 - It was the first time in over 50 years that the Dubai airport was flooded but in Nairobi it is a recurring problem. Which means it was never fixed when the problem initially started. Hawakuziba ufa, Sasa itabidi wajenge ukuta. 3- Dubai acknowledged the problem and began to work on it immediately meanwhile in Nairobi the Minister in charge is always deflating from the issue and looking for scapegoats. Which means the problem won't be fixed. Don't compare INCOMPETENCE (JKIA) to real acts of nature ( Dubai)
DEAR HE. MR.PRESIDENT. Do away with all your cabinet it's evident that these people are just joy riding , talking too much with nothing to show..Tunawacheki !!
And then kipchumba blames the previous regime, it gives me a reason to say he's incompetent to run the ministry. Please Ruto fire him or else you'll pay dearly for your friendship.
The problem with us Kenyas we are quick to complain, this was built by Uhuru ...it's the first time in decades that's we've had such crazy rains ...give these guys a break ata wewe ...😅
Now if this is not sabotage then i dont know what it is, pause for a moment and consider this, these terminals were upgraded during ouru's time but interestingly despite of heavy rains the terminals did not leak at all, exit ouru enters Ruto and all over suddent the roofs convniently start leaking! Secondly, consider this if a roof has a hole and its start raining chances are the hole will start leaking right away but for some interesting reasons the holes at JKIA dont start leaking right away, they wait for some days then start leaking! Thirdly, there are no any other parts of the airport that leaks, no leaking in the toilets, offices, restaurants, cargo areas or any other place for that matter but convniently leaks ONLY where travellers are linning up! My conclusion, putting all the above into considerstion there are saboteurs that are doing this just to embrass the govt but they will fail. To CS transport, put cameras over looking the roofs' corner to corner secretly and i can gaurantee you, you will catch these evil dowers doing these evils....and dont forget to out another one at the generators...once cameras have been installed, i can gaurantee you the leaking will magically stop..

@@drugoviic Affordable housing is not necessary

Well said, imagin Hadi hizi contracts ndogo ndogo giving their uncle's,brothers or even some relatives
Where do we go wrong as Kenyans, short cut and press statements are the main reason for leaking roof at JKIA.
Just a good reminder of the ballot decision we choose.

Is it safe to travel ?
They fired the then Airport boss for a black out.Why haven't they fired this one for leaking roof
I thought the government did spend Kenyans tax money to repair the mess, kweli we have leaders who don't know how to lead.

It's small drainage pipes that can't handle all the water in a couple of hours. The same issues happened in Dubai last week.
