I dont think youll see this but buy spinach that is a bright green colour.Its more fresher.Using it fresh can be great but you can also freeze your spinach.Not only will it last longer it will make your smoothie a more thicker consistency.I dont think i will alter the taste either:)

I'm pretty sure you can freeze spinach. Haven't tried it before but I've seen it on Pinterest before
I have a countertop ice maker and it is so nice a little pricey but worth it
