Including the information from the video let's not forget about Mussolini granting The Catholic Church "its own country" AKA The Holy See. I believe this and a few other policies may have influenced "certain" decisions, as well. Highly informative video! Well done once again!
The Papal States already existed as such long before the 20th Century (although by then the European Freemasons had managed to destroy the others), Mussolini didn't grant anything. It would not be surprising if what he did was intended to be a jab/mockery.
The exorcism part is hilarious. She learns how to say "never" and "she's mine" in latin and they all believe that means she's 100% fluent in a foreign language now. I would love to see the church's process for determining whether someone is possessed by a demon and not just mentally ill or acting
Do you know about Parapsychology (the study of mental phenomena which are excluded from or inexplicable by orthodox scientific psychology (such as hypnosis, telepathy, etc.)
If I remember correctly, the Vatican has one approved priest qualified to perform exorcisms and he was recently training his replacement. I’m not sure if it’s the Priest in this video, but it likely is. But on UA-cam they have interviews of his story and certain patients. Pretty sure he said he’s seen thousands of cases claiming to be possessions that all are explained through understanding of modern human science. But over his yrs he’s actually came a across a few legit possessions. Essentially he tells ya about all the procedures they do to diagnose patients w/ modern medicine before they look to perform exorcisms.
They didn’t say she was fluent at all. They were saying that she began speaking in a dead language w/ a voice that was clearly not her own. It’s not like today where ya can just google Latin and find any words in seconds. Back then there was really no way for her to learn any Latin. She was removed from school and even there it’s not like they had any Latin dictionary or encyclopedias. I don’t believe their TV worked either, but again, it’s not like any dead languages are being spoken on the 3 network broadcast back then lol. If it was any current language then I would easily agree w/ ya. Even if it happened to be Hebrew bc then maybe she picked it up from some old Jewish classmates or neighbors. But Latin had been dead over a millennia. Over few ppl remain who can speak it fluently and even less are those who can write in it. I’m thinking she more or less got lucky by pronouncing a shriek that ended up aligning w/ particular Latin worlds lol.
A Dutch exorcist told me that most people by far who say they are possessed just have mental issues. Here people always get sent to a doctor first. If science can't solve it they can come back and usually they just pray together as that often helps too (mostly placebo he said). In rare cases the exorcist can consider doing an exorcism but he needs approval from the bishop. It isn't like the movies, it is a rather long process. And I'm happy they take a scientific approach first here.
@@tjanderson5892 Pretty much every diocese has an exorcist. Exorcisms only come AFTER they determine they're not dealing with mental health or substance issues and that is always determined by a trained physiatrist not the church.
While I am not Catholic, I do agree with their leadership's opinion that demonic possession is becoming more common because previously forbidden practices, like the ouija board, various summoning "games", and fortune telling are becoming more common. I'm also a strong believer that the media you intake can and does affect you spiritually, though to what degree and whether it's good or evil effects depends on the media that is used. Horror movies that have to do with demonic possession appear to be fairly commonly made nowadays.
If demonic possession was real, why is it that only Christians are possessed? Why not people of other religions, if they're immune it seems like the best way to beat the devil is to stop Christianity. Also, superstition was more common in the past when it was taken seriously instead of as a half-joke. When was the last time you saw a horseshoe nailed above a door?
@@Alverant I don't think you have any idea what you are saying about stopping Christianity. If belief in Christ over all is stopped, the devil wins. Just like there is no definitive proof of God, there is no definitive proof to answer the question you are asking. However, there is enough correlation to believe (even strongly) in its existence. I also don't believe it's only Christians that get possessed.
Great job from the writer of this episode. He listed an incredible two sources, and apparently that is enough to prove possession is real. I read the single source that reference the exorcism, and the priest believed it was caused by a curse from the brother's girlfriend, which he believed was a witch. So now witches and curses are also real. Couldn't find any other sources mentioning this specific exorcism, so apparently the writer read the article and then didn't even bother confirming anything.
Great job lololol 😂. This video was wrong on the exorcism that contributed to the movie when the fact that it was a teen age boy that did. I am starting to see more misinformation being spread by this channel that is not right. It is totally wrong this channel is misleading viewers whom believe it this.
@@supportyourtroopsathletes6460 bro i haven't seen any of those videos yet, but what you said about aircraft is simply wrong, and even a child would know this. MOST engines work by combustion of fuel. for combustion theres 3 things you need: fuel, oxygen and heat (in some cases physics likes to go more in-depth, but lets just keep it at the common fire triangle). a jet engine is no different. actually, oxygen serves another purpose for a jet engine, but i won't even try to explain how an entire jet engine works in a comment lol. anyway just try to think for yourself: why does a jet engine contain turbines?. have you ever had physics/chemistry at school or what?
Another Controversy: Amongst the Waffen SS Military divisions formed during the Eastern Front fighting, the division SS Galicia was formed in 1943 from Southwestern Polish and Western Ukrainian volunteers. In the Eastern Front war, this division was involved in civilian massacres such as the Huta Pieniacka massacre, Pidkamin massacre and Palikrowy massacre. Thus, post war, the Soviet Union demanded that this division be extradited to the USSR so that they can be tried for their crimes. However, the Vatican put pressure on the Western Allies to prevent such deportation, and they were later released, being allowed to emigrate into UK or Canada. I'm not saying that they didn't deserve any form of amnesty when soldiers are being forced to obey their commanders, but it does kind of explain why the Soviet Union had deep distrust of the Western Allies, and resentment towards them, leading up to the cold war. The cold war was NOT the situation of "the noble Western Powers holding the evil Soviet Union at bay" as popular narratives portray, but both sides had intense distrust over each other, which boiled over into the cold war.
I think the inactivity of pope Pius XII was a mix of many reasons. Fear, inability to believe in such horrors, internal fights. But I don't really know a lot about that, just some basics. Horrific situation for the Jews and also, generally speaking, the people...

"Acknowledgement of the deeds of former Pope John XXIII during World War II"Representing the Vatican was the Chief of the Papal Delegation to the U.N., Archbishop Renato Martino while Ambassador Samuel Sisso was there in the name of the Israeli government to accept the formal letter of Righteous acknowledgment directed to Yad Vashem. Mr. Tenembaum and Mr. Abraham Foxman, head of the Anti-Defamation League, offered an artistic piece to another Papal representative, Cardinal Angelo Sodano. This sculpture will be taken by Cardinal Sodano and will be presented to the Vatican in honor of the Swedish diplomat (Raoul Wallenberg) and Pope John XXIII. Cardinal Sodano ended the get together by stating that these types of activities ”stimulate the spirit”. He concluded by expressing his sincere expectation that these initiatives, and hopefully future ones, will have the ultimate result of bringing traditionally divided people closer together in harmony and dialogue
"Science has yet to offer any explanations for these possessions." 1. Science has many answers to this question. 2. The writer listed a single source about this exorcism, which meant he didn't even bother confirming his sources. I couldn't find anything else, about this. 3. There wasn't a single independent scientist at this exorcism, according to the source. 4. The burden of proof lies with the Vatican, and not any scientists. You say possessions are real, so you need to prove it.

A neurologist is maybe the wrong person to ask about psychological issues. Psychologists otoh often don't know much about subcultural beliefs that are shared by people which often see themselves as devout followers of their religion, yet are 'informed' by a set of superstitions which is in no way part of the official theology. Which means, a scientifically trained psychologist gets stuck when assessing the behaviour of a patient that follows patterns provided by those superstitions. A family therapist might notice cracks in the social network of an afflicted person, a pressure that goes beyond what this person can handle, and see how the behaviour of the person under pressure gets informed by the beliefs of the group that the afflicted person is a member of. In other words: If a person is not allowed to have a classic nervous breakdown, this person will adopt the anti social behaviour that is best known to him or her, as he or she had been informed by the peer group, and in consequence the group will believe that the patient is possessed by something malicious. This happens, because it is the only way left for the patient to communicate an extreme discomfort he or she is suffering. By the way, exorcisms aren't something that is restricted to christian groups. I've seen them being performed in a Buddhist society, although in that case, the ceremonies are more symbolic and not as oppressive as the western ones. The reasons for the behaviour are yet the same, conflicts that cannot be addressed directly, or treated by a conventional therapist, because economical or sociological issues do not allow for that. The specialists that I could watch while they did their work, were well trained in their own way. They have my respect, as it requires a lot of common sense and knowledge of the human condition, to be successful in their - let us say, unconventional, but yet efficient psychological treatment of those who are suffering.
ah yes the typical angry neckbeard social reject that blames "west oppresion" despite the fact that the west is the most free place in the world, it is hilarious that you even mentioned budhhism where its homecountry (china) is essentialy a giant prison and has the worst and most oppresive goverment in the world and it is true that exorcisms happen in many religions, they are natural (and supernatural) phenomenom for humans who have a clear mind and can use divine help to cure possessed people from demons, that is what also everyone takes for granted
There have been very sinister things that happen from the Vatican, but Pope Pius XII was no friend of Hitler's. If he were, it would have been easier for him to move about and shelter an almost inexhaustible number of people. "Scarlet and the Black" is based on a true story. The dream of Franz Yaeggerstader (I probably butchered his name) also holds weight. It wasn't that different a phenomenon during the Covid shutdown.

The comment that, "Orientals aren't reliable" was aimed at someone named Sheptysky? Was his first name Wong, or Takei, or Kim, or something like that? I'm just wondering, because Sheptysky seems more like an Eastern European name.
Jewish people were seen as oriental at the time. Because their ancient homeland Judea is east of Europe. Turkish people and Arabs were also called orientals at that time. Eastern Europeans came from the North East so were thought of as having Asian ancestry.

@@Makarosc Why should any religion change how they view non straight people? Ancient religions shouldn't have to change for what they think is unnatural. If it bothers people so much, You can always start your own religions to cater to your beliefs.
@@bloodofourbloodspiritofour3263 You forget that in the US churches get special rights and if it's a christian church, they can get tax dollars to fund their activities. In other words, they are forcing Atheists, homosexuals, and others to pay for an organization to demonize and persecute them.
Yet they keep reassigning child predators to other parishes because they never want to admit they have a problem with their priests touching little boys.

The Vatican has a heck of a lot to answer for. Especially when it comes to young children.
that is a really ironic thing to say, because if we go that way then we would have to close the entire american education system (where the vast majority of children abuses happen) and most western schools and medical establishments altogether, its just that the few vatican cases that happened (and more than 30 years ago) are controvertial because nobody wouldnt expect it there

Great video!
It's a pro catholic video I mean the first part made multiple excuses for them enabling the nazis so the exorcism part wasn't surprising
Another Controversy:
Amongst the Waffen SS Military divisions formed during the Eastern Front fighting, the division SS Galicia was formed in 1943 from Southwestern Polish and Western Ukrainian volunteers.
I watch a lot of UA-cam and this by far is my favorite Channel

This sculpture will be taken by Cardinal Sodano and will be presented to the Vatican in honor of the Swedish diplomat (Raoul Wallenberg) and Pope John XXIII. Cardinal Sodano ended the get together by stating that these types of activities ”stimulate the spirit”.
They have my respect, as it requires a lot of common sense and knowledge of the human condition, to be successful in their - let us say, unconventional, but yet efficient psychological treatment of those who are suffering.
ah yes the typical angry neckbeard social reject that blames "west oppresion" despite the fact that the west is the most free place in the world, it is hilarious that you even mentioned budhhism where its homecountry (china) is essentialy a giant prison and has the worst and most oppresive goverment in the world
and it is true that exorcisms happen in many religions, they are natural (and supernatural) phenomenom for humans who have a clear mind and can use divine help to cure possessed people from demons, that is what also everyone takes for granted
