I doubt the temples would ban a Nepalese person who claims to be Hindu from entry. Nepalese are foreigners to India.
Sanatana Dharma is the eternal way and is equally true for everyone one regardless of race and nationality. Before Buddhism, Hinduism stretched as far East as Vietnam, as far West as Iran and as far South as Bali in Indonesia (Bali is still Hindu majority). Going back over 2,000 years ago, Europeans who came with Alexander the Great practiced Sanatana Dharma when they came into contact with it.
Sanatana Dharma is NOT exclusive to South Asians, it is NOT a ethno-religion like the Zoroastrians. It is a DISGRACE that the people in charge of the temples would ban someone from entry into the temples due to their skin color. By banning people entry due to skin color they insult their own ancient ancestors.
What about dalits. What they have done. Please don't justify discrimination.

Every temple has its own history and tradition , there are also temple where there is restricted on basis of age and on some religion because they were attacked by foreigners .
In some males are not allowed ,in some females .
These are only for main temples ,while everyone is allowed in smaller temples under same main temples .
Temples are our identity , it ie not a tourist place .
While i feel bad because many non indian Hindus are not allowed , we need to change only that .

You can enter most of the temples save for a very few, which have special norms for entry. Some temples don’t allow men, some don’t allow women, some don’t allow non-Hindus, some don’t allow foreigners...but 99.99% temples allow everyone.

Rath is chariot. Rath yatra is happend in puri, Orissa. Eastern part of India. Its world famous . God Jagannath, God Balaram and Goddess Subhadra go to their aunt's house . It happens in July.
Brother inform her that he can't enter in the temple otherwise she may come but will return in empty hand .. it's better to inform that there r 4 or 5 temple where she can't enter

There may be only 2 or 3 temples in whole India, where either a person beleiving in other religion or women have no entry. And there are some reasons behind it. The rest of you can go to any temple there is no prohibition.
There are temple where mens are not allowed.

I am from Odisha, the eastern state of India. It is also known as the land of Lord Jagannatha (an avtar, incarnation of Lord Krishna). A majestic 800 year Lord Jagannatha temple exists in the pristine sea beach of Puri, nearly 60 km from Bhubaneswar. This is also one of the most sacred place of Hindu religion, one DHAM out of four DHAMs of India. Arjun bhai did not elaborate on this. He is right. Foreigners are not allowed inside this temple. May be this does not look progressive at current time, but imagine the temple was built 800years ago. India since then has seen many rulers which historically were not friendly to other religion. Consequently, to maintain the sanctity, sacredness of the place, the tradition of stopping the people of other religion would have begun in the past. As Arjun explained, that exactly is the reason why the tradition of Rath Yatra (the chariot festival) is performed every year in June. On this day, Lord Jagannatha comes out with his brother and sister in beautifully decorated chariots (Rath) to meet all his devotees without any restrictions. Millions congregate in Puri in this nine days long festival. At this time, there is no bar. Everyone is allowed to pull his chariot, go near HIM. Hope this would clarify your doubts that some of the temples do not allow foreigners, like the other one at Kerala. In other points, Bhubaneswar, capital of Odisha is known as the temple city of India. Some are open to all and some old ones are not!!

No cranes to lift the heavy stones one over the other.
No drill machines.
Thousands of workmen must have been working in tandem. So very thoughtful planning, teamwork and execution.
And despite the 400 years after the temple was constructed the energy still persists.
Unfortunately the West doesn't have even one percent of ancient architecture to showcase that India has to offer.
