If the Jazz trade Markkanen, it would be best for them to do it this summer. Why? Because if he plays too much for them this season they will win too many games and jeopardize their shot at getting a top pick in the 2025 draft. That's what happened to them last season. To me, a "sign-and-trade" deal on the 6th of August makes the most sense for the Spurs and the Jazz. Pairing Markkanen with Wemby would make for an awesome combination that would frustrate the hell out opposing teams. I'd much rather see him end up on the Spurs than the Warriors or the Kings. But let's not kid ourselves, he ain't gonna come cheap. Good video by the way.
