Better to just tank hard now, see if Cody Williams and/ or Filipowski can become decent NBA level players and enter the Cooper Flagg sweepstakes. Trading Yurt away kinda makes sense as move open spots for Cody and Kyle.
Jazz will be much better off to get a high 2025 draft pick by trading LMarkennan. Spurs are not going to get. a lottery pick with VWemby now so they have an interest in the long run for LMarkennan.
His motor, he gives 110% every minute he plays. He's afraid of nobody, he is so reliable protecting the rim and scoring under the hoop, he has touch, and power to slam the ball, also, he's an under rated passer, he can give the ball to the open man specially in the 3 point area while he attracts people in the paint. And his contract, very cheap for what he gives you. Not a starter, but at that price, I sure want him coming from the bench or making the day difficult for big 5s.
It will be sad to see Lauri go, but I'll be rooting for him wherever he ends up at.
