Hi! from Canada 🇨🇦 I would like to knit a Spring Support Chicken. We have a saying for someone who is young, or feels young; we call them a Spring chicken. If you're not young, you say, "I'm no Spring chicken" 😂 🐔 Thank you for your wonderful podcasts and congratulations on reaching 100! ❤xo
Congratulations with 100 episodes!🎉 Thank you for sharing all your happy knitting! For Spring I want to knit a yellow Wilfreda. Happy and healty Easter for you and your family! 🐣🐇🧶🌞👍
Hi Jana, happy to see you again. Your video is my favorite Sunday morning moment, so I really missed you. I was not stressed by your many WIPs, I found it so interesting to see them. ❤ I myself did a lot of crochet recently, with many colors, I find it so soothing... love your granny cardigan 😘 Happy 100th video 🎉 Happy you're better. For Spring, I want to crochet a blanket with spring colours yarn.
Dear Jana, I love watching your videos and that you're sharing bits of your daily live. My family and I envy you for your finnish winters, especially the amount of snow 😊 For spring and because Easter Holidays are nigh I'd like to knit the Emotional Support Chicken. Enjoy the rest of your week ❤ All the best for you and your family, Ina
Thank you for channeling your inner crochet passion! A few of my knitting friends don't quite understand how crochet can have a pattern as a guide, but we are mavericks and we go where we want. This spring I would like to start the Azul mosaic by Tinna from Iceland. Color choices are endless from my scraps. Thank you for visiting me each week with Froggy and Clucky
I agree, you are one of my favorite podcasts! Congrats on your 100th episode! Love all your WIPs! I am the same way with lots of WIPs, depending on my mood! My spring knitting includes color work socks, as well as Summer Lee and Nancy Wheeler patterns. I also want to cast on some transitional tees. Our Texas summer weather does not allow for tees.
Spring! Hello Jana! Love your granny Hexie cardi!!! I think I will knit Tolsta tee. Now I see your poncho by Amy and I’m tempted to… I’m holding out casting on until I finish a couple WIPS. I’m also process knitting but until April I’m not CO. My self imposed finish quest. Congratulations on 100🎉
Congratulation for your 100. episode and yes, I was missing you a lot. Glad to see you ´ r doing better. Love this new crochet cardigan and that you are turning this lovely colorful sweater into a dress, it was crying for it. My spring knittings are Umma and Corbis sweater, and for car knitting there is a pair of socks for a friend. And I still want to knit socks out of nutiden for me. Never thought about you being a collector, 😂. Have a happy week.
Congrats on 100 episodes! I think your strip of granny squares along the spine is ingenious. I wish I had Sofia’s green thumb. I can tell it’s spring here because all the daffodils are coming up. In addition, my husband planted tulips and those are provide the greatest joy to me. Hope you feel yourself fully soon.
Jana, I am a Looking forward to seeing your finished dresses. They are beautiful and a wonderful idea. I looked up Linda Scuja and WOW 🤩, you’re right… she has amazing crochet patterns. I haven’t seen such intricate crochet patterns before. Absolutely gorgeous ❤.
YAY, you are feeling better! Congratulations on 100 episodes! My spring knit/crochet goal is a summer hat with a wide brim (at least a brim that shades my face)! Your granny square cardigan is gorgeous as is your blanket!!! In March I took on a walking challenge for the American Cancer Society by walking on my treadmill. Boring to walk on one so I looked up videos to walk/run by and found a running video from Helsinki. Sooooooo beautiful and the runner kept a pace that motivated me to walk a bit faster! When he went through town I couldn’t help to wonder if we went by any of the places you sell yarn for fiber festivals! Gorgeous country. Love and prayers to you and your family, Jana! ❤️🙏🏻🌷🌸🌻🌹
Hurrah hurrah you are my favorite podcast . You always light some energy in my heart every time I see your new podcasts. Thank you so much for being here. Sending you all my love.
Hi Jana, glad to see you are feeling better; I hope all in the house are as well so you can also find some crafting time. Hopefully this rain you have will bring you some Spring flowers. I am also finishing up a crochet garment and I normally do not make them as I feel you have articulated my same concerns with them. Though, I have 2 patterns that I think I will try some day and see if they make me happy. For Spring, I would love to knit the Fox Doll by Claire Garland (on Ravelry); I do not make dolls often but that one has stolen my attention and I love foxes(and Owls....and hedgehogs!). Also on my wish list is the Sprinkled with Kindness shawl by Cally Monster (Monsterknits)--it looks so lovely and I love to knit shawls as my happy, go-to project. Happy 100th episode! We are very fortunate to have you share your time with us! Have a great week.
Thank you Jana, your episode is great due to your sunny disposition sprinkled with wisdom and silliness. Congratulations on 100 episodes. 🎉🎉 My Spring cast on will be a summer tee. I’m looking at doing either another Tolsta or a Salty Air Tee or a Rock It tee or a Kumulus tee. Also, I have my emotional support chicken that I started last week…her name will be Señorita Cluck-a-lot. 😊
Thank you, Jana, for 100 fabulous videos. You are always a highlight in my week. You give me inspiration, a few laughs and warm feelings every time I watch.
Thank you for perfectly articulating what it’s like to be a process (rather than a product) person!! Love the purple and orange swiss dot socks! Thank you for the spring giftaway! I think it’s time for me to learn to crochet this spring - all the scrappy blankets have won me over!
There are so many projects on my list, it's hard to choose one for Spring, but I would really like to make a poncho after seeing yours in this video. Ponchos are so versatile, and beautiful, can be dressed up or down and are perfect regardless of the wearer's age. Yes, a poncho for Spring.😊
Hi Jana! Happy SPRING to you!! It will be fun for you to start some seedlings indoors and to welcome the days when your snow is melted. There are many things I'd love to start knitting (or maybe crocheting) this Spring, and if I am lucky enough to win the pattern from you, I'll have fun picking then! Cheers, Judith 💜
I’m so happy to see a video from you today👍🏼I looked yesterday wondering if I’d missed your usual update. I hope you feel much better very soon, now your spring cold is going you should hopefully be good for awhile now. Hope the family stays well too. I always enjoy your videos, it’s like a nice visit for tea, it’s so nice to see what you’ve been making, you choose such pretty projects🥰. It’s a yucky cold rainy day here as well but we made it out, my daughter, granddaughter and grandson to do some shopping and picking up some supplies for crafting. With all the bright , happy , Spring and Easter things in the shops it was very cheerful. Now I’m curled in my cozy chair with a heater keeping me warm , knitting and watching some tv and videos. Take care of you, be safe and warm, but have lots of love and fun. 🥰🙋🏼♀️
Spring is in the horizon.... we will start using more light yarn and think of summer blouses. I think that I like to knit emotional chicken. Once again congratulations on your 100th fabulous podcasts ❤
Love your crochet cardigan, so comfy and colorful. Liking the sweater to dress transformation! Love Keva:t . Here in mid Missouri USA we are in daffodil season, sometimes very warm in midday but below freezing at night. Spring will come soon enough for you so far north of me! I am recently retired, and in a small but I believe seaworthy boat. always love your casts!
Lovely upbeat podcast despite your cold. I love your crochet cardi and your Coorie in poncho. So now I think I would like to knit a poncho for spring. ❤❤
Spring has sprung, the grass is ris, I wonder where the birdies is! I hope to k it Joji’s Milton cardigan. I got the most lovely teal yarn. Glad you are feeling better. I was sick yesterday, but I seem to be on the mend today, so can’t complain. It’s 19 degrees C today. Prim (my dog) and I went walking and I didn’t even need a sweater-if that doesn’t put a spring in step, nothing will. Your granny FO’s are spectacular and your k utter dresses are lovely. LOTS of knitting. Better you than me.
Congratulation on your wonderful Milestone, 100 episodes!!!! Hope Spring comes soon for you, it is always fun to be back in the garden. Spring knitting is a fine lace shawl, and getting sweaters in line for autumn and winter wearing. Hope you get better soon.
Hi Jana! Congratulations on your Episode 100! I enjoy your vlog so much, not only when you talk about knitting but also when you talk about your family and ordinary life! I live in Argentina and here autumn is around the corner! But I can imagine me knitting a lovely Ranunculus in a greeny Spring yarn! 🌱🌱🌱
Great that you’re feeling better. I have an orange typewriter I learned typing on 😉 What I would like to crochet for spring is the cardigan you’re wearing with some crazy neon cotton yarn I’ve been collecting 😊 And now, for a Portuguese word of the week, let’s go with #spring which is #primavera and will not be coming for 6 months 😢 But in the meanwhile we get autumn and winter and knit weather!!!🎉❤ PS hugs for Cluckie!
I love your granny square cardigan. A granny square garment has been on my wish list. Now you’ve inspired to actually try it. Love your podcasts. Glad you are feeling better.
Happy 100th Episode, Jana ❣and many happy returns to spread joy and inspiration around the world ! Anyone who can elevate a colorful Granny square into an art form is truly a kindred spirit...perfect Cool Hippy Chick vibes :) I love love love the whole idea of continuing your fave knitted sweaters into dresses...I must try this ! But for now, I must finish my Icelandic cardigan for chilly spring days ahead. Sending Love and Healthy wishes for you and your family
This spring I want to make a Roosty Tank Top pattern by Ella Gordon. I can wait to have so much fun knitting some beautiful colourwork to chase a way the grey clouds. Congratulations on your 100th episode!!!!!
I am a few episodes behind, but yes, I did miss your podcasts and would look for you from time to time. Glad you are all feeling better. I myself am now sick, first time since Thanksgiving. Happy Spring! Better days are coming!
Congratulation with episode 100. It is absoluly a good thing Spring is comming for you's. In South Africa we really need the winter, it was terrible hot this time. xx
Hello, I’m glad that you’re feeling better.👍The coloured yoke dress is going to be amazing.😍I’m making shorty socks for my family for Spring, just need it to warm up a little. 👍😊🧶
Congratulations on 100 episodes. I love watching your videos. What do I want to knit for spring? A bright color lace shawl. I want to knit some color work, I think I will knit a cardigan with color work. I collect Rhinestone jewelry, lots of big pins, wear them on my coat. Sorry you have been sick, it is the weather, lots of sick people here in our city. Take care of yourself.
🎉congrats on 100 episodes. You are one of my two favorite podcasts, I never miss an episode. For spring I really want to knit the Maywick pattern by Gudrun Johnston. I have my 40th birthday this spring so this will be a perfect birthday cast on. For the first time I plan on knitting it in the recommended yarn.
Oh so good to see you! Congratulations on 100 amazing, funny, happy and thoughtful podcasts. So sorry to hear you are feeling unwell- seems to happen as the seasons change. Thank you so much for sharing and wow can’t wait to see what you plan for a tea cosy 🤩! Though we are moving to autumn 🍂 here in Australia. I would love to knit DRK everyday sweater by Andrea Mowry. Was lucky to get some gorgeous colour changing sport weight and mohair to match and can’t wait to do for next spring. Take care… have lots of honey for that throat and rest up.
I’m so ready for Spring myself. I can definitely understand why your husband and daughter are already planning. Sunshine heals the soul. By the way, congratulations on 100 episodes… that’s no small feat. I’m thinking of knitting the Sammen by Minimi Knit Design on my back patio once the weather warms up a little.
I will be spending my spring knitting a bunch of things for my daughter and coming grand-baby....gender to be known on monday...LOL. It feels to strange to be knitting tiny clothes that look almost like clothes for a doll 🤣 Thank you for 100 outstanding vlogs. I just love seeing what you are getting up to 🙂
Welcome back. I'm glad you're feeling better. Congratulations on 100 episodes. I've enjoyed them all! The Projects I'm hoping to knit this Spring are too many! At least one or two of these shawls that I already have the yarn and patterns for: the Aeria Shawl by Linnea Ornstein, the Schnecke by Babette Ulmer, the Spitfire Shawl by Carissa Browning, High Seas Shawl by Kieran Foley (present for a friend). My next sweater will be the Knitorious RBG by Park Williams, or the Abydos Top by Lily Kate France, or one of 3 different cardigans I love. There are also 4 different hats I want to knit soon. And I want to finish the socks that I keep as a car project so I can start a new sock car project! My other spring knitting goals are to at least one or two of my old Wips or UFO's. And, of course, now you have infected me with wanting to knit the Amy Palko Poncho! I have the perfect yarn for that in my stash. Let's see what I can get done this spring. Good thing I'm retired!!!! Greetings from Herndon, Virginia, USA
Congrats on the 100th episode. Your podcast always makes me smile and all your knits are beautiful. This spring I'm hoping to make a cotton Ranunculus.
Hi Jana, thank you for that sweet, cozy and funny video... enjoyed watching you, like always, while I was knitting on my first spring knit, the Flora jakke by Wenche Roald... after this sweet jacket I would like to knit a colorful Lumme sweater by Sari Nordlund out of my Nutiden yarn... 🏵
Congratulations on your 100th episode! So glad you are feeling better. All of your makes are so pretty. For Spring I would like to knit the Stockholm Slipover.
Congratulations on your 100th episode! You have brought me so much pleasure. For spring, I'm going to try and finish some of the things I started last year! I'd also like to knit a Cloudberry Tee. Thanks for your sunshine!!
I love it when you get all funny in the vlogs , absolutely hilarious and I wouldn’t change you for anything please keep it coming 🤣🤩🥰😘💕💞🌹i got the emotional support chicken pattern I’m starting it today it’s so cute and cuddly just like you x
The Ranoncelus is what I would love to knit in the 🌸 SPRING 🌸! I see it on various podcasts, but buying the pattern holds me back.🤷♀️ How nice it would be if I won it.☺️ I love your sweater what becomes a dress ! Lovely greetings from Lily🌸
Happy to see you again, I'm glad you are on the mend! Congratulations on 100 episodes! Woo hoo! I want to knit the Shore tee for sure this spring, but you know how it is, ask me tomorrow and I'll have another "must knit"! 😂
spring is coming and i want to make a mix of crochet and knit in a sweater. Glad to have you back happy and healthy and congratulations on the centenary!🎉
Congratulations on 100 episodes!! I have enjoyed every single one! You inspire me every time. I actually started my own design for Spring! I am making a top that is crocheted and knit! I was inspired by your granny square cardigans. Thank you for continuing to share your projects and so much more with all of us!
Yay! You are back! and I’m glad you are feeling better! This spring I am working on the Cardamom top and some vanilla socks. I also have plans for sewing some linen dresses using the Hinterland pattern from Sew Liberated. I am thinking I may need to try a shawl as well 🤔 I love your crochet cardigan. The colors are bright and cheery!
The opening scenes are so gorgeous as they always are but this week made my crappy house feel worse.I also have the chills, exhaustion nothing illness and have spent 2 days going to bed early after naps so the end made me feel so loved and understood. The first day of feeling bad was out grafting apricot back to the plum suckers that came up around the tree during covid#1#2. had cut a branch of plum that was blooming and brought it in the house so focus on that. Recently Aldi had stainless steel french press, great for me , also keeps tea warm really well without cozy. Hope kevat comes to you soon.
Just had a snow storm blow through overnight. Hoping spring will really be here soon and I can have more inspirations to make shawls. Thanks for all of your ongoing inspiration and always those very lively colors!
Happy 100! How exciting! I am in love with your new mushroom artwork. I am so happy for spring to arrive. I've missed the light. This spring I want to crochet the Rumours Vest by Iron Lamb. I bought some delightful silk yarn in a yellowish green color for the project.
Gratulation to 100. I Love you, this still weird girl and say thanks for your Time. I dont need a pattern, so i wish it to a person that need a pattern like SOS😅. Knitters are all so fantastic weird. ❤
Congrats on 100 episodes! I am always very happy when I see a new episode popping up! I hope you are feeling better now and the rest of your family didn't get sick. I do feel the same about crochet garments, I don't like the look of it as much as knitted garments. For spring I am suddenly itching to work on my pastel coloured granny stripes blanket. I am wondering why...😂
Hi Jana, Congratulations on podcast #100! Hope there are many, many more! Hope you are feeling better soon. This Spring I would like to knit the Retro Button Top. It looks to be very comfortable and cool, and I like the look of buttons lined up down the front.
I love how you described being a process knitter ❤ That is me 100% And I habitually cast on new projects when I'm bored, stressed, or feeling down. I told my daughter you had 32 WIPs and she says, "I bet you have at least that many!" 😅 I've been itching to cast on a light, airy spring top or shawl. The Whisperlike top by Melanie Berg and the Airy White shawl by Sachiko Uemura have been calling to me.
"People who start projects and never finish them are cooler than people who never start projects." It's a creative itch others don't have.

I did miss your silly podcast. 😂 glad you are feeling better, missed you.
Yay Spring! I'd love to knit your Granny Hexagon Sweater! Found you recently and am enamored! Thank you!🎉❤
Congratulations on 100 episodes. I could use a new tee in my wardrobe this spring.
It feels to strange to be knitting tiny clothes that look almost like clothes for a doll 🤣
Thank you for 100 outstanding vlogs. I just love seeing what you are getting up to 🙂
Congratulations on your 100 episode i watched them al❤ greeting Ivonne 😘😘😘
Congrats on the 100 episodes! This spring I want to knit all of the bright colours! Also maybe a few vests for the weather transition.
Yay for the 100 episodes of joy! 🎉 My spring plan is to knit many (!!) summer tops 😍 Just have to finish few sleeves first and then I'll get started.
Congratulations on your 100th episode! So glad you are feeling better. All of your makes are so pretty. For Spring I would like to knit the Stockholm Slipover.

Congratulations to you!
I like to knit a Light cardigan for spring. Have a Nice Day.🧶
The Ranoncelus is what I would love to knit in the 🌸 SPRING 🌸!
I see it on various podcasts, but buying the pattern holds me back.🤷♀️
How nice it would be if I won it.☺️
I love your sweater what becomes a dress !
Congrats on 100 episodes! 🎉 I'm going to knit Sari Nordlund's midsummer dancer -socks, because ruffles scream sping vibes ❤
100 episodes is such an amazing feat. I have no idea what I want to knit for this spring because my WIPs are yelling at me to get them done. 😅
spring is coming and i want to make a mix of crochet and knit in a sweater.
Jana, I'm with you on the yarn bowls! I use mine for double stranding as well.😊
The opening scenes are so gorgeous as they always are but this week made my crappy house feel worse.I also have the chills, exhaustion nothing illness and have spent 2 days going to bed early after naps so the end made me feel so loved and understood.
I am happy to see you back Jana 😊 Wow 100 episode congratulations 🎉 I am planning to knit the Ghost Whisperer by Park Williams for this Spring 🌼
Happy 100! How exciting! I am in love with your new mushroom artwork. I am so happy for spring to arrive. I've missed the light. This spring I want to crochet the Rumours Vest by Iron Lamb. I bought some delightful silk yarn in a yellowish green color for the project.
It was nice to see you again after sooo looong time 😊 Happy spring!
Another great podcast to leave me smiling and feeling happy! 🥰🥰
So I’m from Down Under so it’s not Spring, but I would love to knit Amy Palko’s poncho that you are knitting, in lovely spring colours 🌷
I love how you described being a process knitter ❤ That is me 100% And I habitually cast on new projects when I'm bored, stressed, or feeling down. I told my daughter you had 32 WIPs and she says, "I bet you have at least that many!" 😅
I've been itching to cast on a light, airy spring top or shawl. The Whisperlike top by Melanie Berg and the Airy White shawl by Sachiko Uemura have been calling to me.
