Bring up Neal often. Big part of the Cardinals part ll Saw the Cold Roses tour in NYC. Inspired me to start gigging again. Neal was definitely part of that inspiration. Cheers 🍷
There’s not a better live act on the planet. I was lucky enough to see Ryan and Neil live together in Kansas City and it’ll always be the best live musical act I’ll ever see. Keep on keeping in, Ryan...
Rose..actually Rosie..was one of many beautifying the night scene( specifically Aunt Chiladas) on Hilton Head Island S Carolina from 1983 to circa 2000…yes, I wrote this about her although I loved her daughter and family equally none intimately
I agree with you completely. Not even Neil Young was this prolific in his prime. If Ryan would've broken in the late 60's, with the backing of a REAL record label, there's no telling how big he would be now. I'm a little too old for his demographic, but I know a major talent when I hear one. He continually amazes me.
I have spent my life seeking all that's still unsung. Bent my ear to hear the tune, and closed my eyes to see. When there was no strings to play, you played to me. thanks ryan ! hang in there
What an amazing band these guys were. Saw them live 3 times. Amazing and different each time. This session completely steals my face too. Got to love the Star Wars laser eye battle going on
one way you know that Ryan's the real deal is in the way his music grow's on you, the intellectual depth of the lyric's and the meaning that evolves in our own lives... I love RA!
this is simply amazing. i've seen the Cards twice in the last year; one acoustic and once full-band electric. both performances were completely stunning. been really looking for a band that can take me to "that place" again. looks like they're here...
No commets in 4 years, sad..i got to boost it up..get great night with my friends and everybody had to show in their opinion, their best live performances..i put up this one..almost everbody agreed, apart from Beatles, Zepp, Dylan to Beastie Boys at SNL.well..
Probably just younger people who are really into Dr. Luke and would rather hear a more polished, faster tempo pop song. I know people who wouldn't appreciate this. Whatever, though. No art is universally liked.
that's exactly what it's like when you're ready to put your total all into the song, then you get a false start. mega uber frustrating. I'm amazed he refrained from swearing his head off. :)
What;s up with Ryan's eyes at 3:29-3:32? They're glowing beyond belief, lol. Has to be some kind of reflection, but I don't that strong of light or any light at all shining on him.
Goodnight Neal, you were great, you will not be forgotten.
Bring up Neal often.

I don’t have a frog’s nit for you punk.. you have nothing for anyone, silly twat

heard this song once live in München, small venue, best song of the concert.
Ryan Adams gives me hope for modern music. Seriously everything this guy does is amazing!
Rose..actually Rosie..was one of many beautifying the night scene( specifically Aunt Chiladas) on Hilton Head Island S Carolina from 1983 to circa 2000…yes, I wrote this about her although I loved her daughter and family equally none intimately

Ryan Adams: The most underrated musician/artist/poet of this generation

That was one heck of a performance.
Such a great version of one of their best songs, and when Ryan yells at 3:02...gets me every time.

Every light behind DRA represents an absolute masterpiece of a jam he has written.
What an amazing band these guys were. Saw them live 3 times. Amazing and different each time. This session completely steals my face too. Got to love the Star Wars laser eye battle going on
Ryan Adams always rocks when he plays live. He is a true musician.

I love the freestyle jamming at the song's end
Amazing performance of a wonderful song.
One of his best songs.
i never wanted that to end
Just awesome!
Easy Tiger was so good, easily Ryan's best album IMO and one of my favorite albums ever.
one way you know that Ryan's the real deal is in the way his music grow's on you, the intellectual depth of the lyric's and the meaning
that evolves in our own lives... I love RA!

A kick ass tribute to the Grateful Dead!
the lasers coming out of neal's eyes are hilarious
Just awesome! I would SO LOVE to see the Cardinals again
Still can't get enough of these sessions, or DRA with The Cardinals as a backing band. Neal absolutely digs into this at 2:00-2:11. Magic.
Sweet... like candy, and a cold beer, and red wine, and clear sky dusk, and music, and music... and music...
Anyone that thumbs downed this is a tool
+Dawg Father Damn right...
this is simply amazing.

Wow. This end of this song really kicks!!!
the perfect song...period.

the ones that wished they could write like this.
There are now 20 retards SHEEEIT!!!
Probably just younger people who are really into Dr. Luke and would rather hear a more polished, faster tempo pop song. I know people who wouldn't appreciate this. Whatever, though. No art is universally liked.
Highlight of Ryan and Neil performance..so much better then album version
Chris Feinstein will be missed!
"WHOOOOOOO!"
"that rocked."
this is great
SO COOL!!!
I like the Jerry Garcia guitar tone
Whoa! The Cardz are tight !
reminds me of a woman i fell in love with...
so true! so true!
his style reminds me of neil young
Damn right, this is what playing music is supposed to be like. Shit.
Ryan’s ‘Whooo’ at 3:04 is hilarious
Can someone please upload magnolia mountain from this session? It's amazing!
Ryan Rules.
I love a good build up.
that's exactly what it's like when you're ready to put your total all into the song, then you get a false start. mega uber frustrating.
I'm amazed he refrained from swearing his head off.
:)
Cool-ness!
He may have been referring to Neal Casal, member of The Cardinals.
Man...where can I find MP3's of the Avatar Sessions?
dude, did you see where neal shoots lasers out of his eyes at ryan? 1:06
Can anyone identify this studio space?
My best guess is Avatar Studios in NYC, they just added a bunch of Christmas lights in the studio at that time for the video shoot
Yup. The A room.
Is it possible to get all the songs from this session on dvd? Either officially or as bootleg?? Anybody know or can help? Please help?! :)
Simon James I have it as mp3
who is bryan adams?
why's someone talking about bryan adams... ?
OMFG he shot lasers out of his eyes at 1:07
the Cardinals were one of the best bands ever, imo. too bad they were so short-lived.
What laser eyes? When is that?
rawk
Did anybody saw laser beam's out that dude's eye at 1:06?
Payador Perseguido... 😂😂😂
I have easily watched this a few dozen times before today and I never noticed that before! LMAO!!!
Man, they kicked the shit out of that tune.
What;s up with Ryan's eyes at 3:29-3:32? They're glowing beyond belief, lol. Has to be some kind of reflection, but I don't that strong of light or any light at all shining on him.
Yeah, i can see why people say this was his tightest band...
