I'm a proud Canadian American too. My grandfather was born in Nova Scotia. He's Mi'kmaq and was born on the Membertou Reserve in Sydney!!! I visited the Province in 2019, and it is the most beautiful place I've ever been too!!! Though I was born and raised in Ohio, I never forget my Nova Scotia roots!!!
@n1uk Very true. I'm only 5% Indian and my grandpa is 25%. I've been to the reserve that he was born on and most people are mixed. Very few people are fully indian.
@n1uk I get you. It’s a shame but there are people out there that claim to be Indian, but are obviously not. They jump on the band wagon and use their “heritage” for personal benefit while ripping off those that are not Native. Not going to name names… but their out there. Thankfully, Canada has the Indian Status cards to prove the identity of natives. I have one, as well as my relatives. I know that I can’t prove that to you because I can’t show you a picture online, but I think that it’s immature to say that your something but your really not. Your from Newfoundland, very cool. I’ve visited every province east of Ontario, except Newfoundland and Labrador. I’d love to get up there to visit the Viking village some day.
Nova Scotia...The most pirate place possible. Irish, Scottish, Welsh, English people. Relies heavily on the ocean and bases its culture of of it. And has multiple buried treasures and legends undiscovered yet.
I live in Ontario, but out of all the Canadian Provinces, Nova Scotia definitely has the best and the most meaningful anthem of them all

Our old colony still looks fantastic to this day
Love from Scotland 🏴
@n1uk I completely agree as a Nova Scotian
Nova Scotia should be re integrated into its fatherland.

Sounds like New England
The best one.
The Catherine McKinnon rendition is more tragic and beautiful I find though
