- The Builder Base 2.0 Update was released in Clash of Clans and with it - how to get the 6th builder tasks changed! Kenny Jo explains how to the Unlock the BOB Control Hut as well as a method to complete each of the 6th Builder Tasks which include Gear Up 3 Buildings, Upgrade any Troop to Level 18, Upgrade any Defense to Level 9 and Complete a total level of 45 on Hero Machines. The only issue we are currently uncertain about is how fast this can be completed in Builder Base 2023.

Quick tip for everyone who wants to complete task of upgrading troop to lvl 18 : Just rush to builder base 10 and unlock electro wizard and you see in laboratory it's already lvl 17 that means you just have to upgrade it one lvl only.

It's not really a great idea because you have to keep upgrading the barracks and laboratory and max em out just to get to it, it's easier to unlock the night witch and just stop upgrading barracks just laboratory to make lvls on it
The tasks before was kinda annoying because the tasks before were specific. I like how they changed it so it gives more options to the player.

@@vexile5731they made it harder for rushed based because most people did not care about the builder base it what’s a means to an end to get the 6th builder now they made if if you rush up get almost no elixir which is nice for me because it took me like 2 years to get to builder hall 8 the legit way upgrading everything and every troop before proceeding to the next builder base. Now my unrushed base rules all the elixir and gold

While the tip for the fourth task seems good in the video there are probably a lot of people who already rushed to BH9 before the update and are working on the final few things, for anyone in this situation remember the statistically cheapest hero levels are 22 of each and then pick your choice of 23. If your battle machine is level 23 or more, you can just do battle copter and save loot (or if you have a rune or something now that there are 2 builders you can trade off loot efficiency for time and upgrade the battle machine again saving a level on the copper

@@mousa881 btw guys you can just battle and leave for quick easy elixir. I did this and got a level 9 Star lab. Level 18 power Pekka, level 16 battle copter and level 18 battle machine all within 1 month in a rushed base

So glad I watched this video. I have slowly been upgrading my battle machine and made it to lvl 29 and thought.... this will take for ever to upgrade it to lvl 45! So glad to hear the battle copter exists and I am closer to the 6th builder than I think 🥳
after unlocking the 6th builder after b2.0 update yes it is easier than last tasks as you just need to attack and surrender a couple 100 times so you can get almost 3 million elixer and use the 2 builder non stop upgrading heroes to (22,23) and any troop in lab to lvl 18 and the wall glitch is fixed so upgrading mortar to lvl 9 is the best option right now
How do you get 3 million elixir by surrendering though?
I think the tasks are easier, but the loot you get is less so it will take you longer or require a lot more time to get there.

U can get loot non stop with this update in previous upgrade u could only get loot 1 times a day how the hell people think loot is worst

@@bharatmatakayoda I was maxed out in builder hall for more than 2yrs I guess now today I see there's a lot of changes. And can't get what to do and what not to.
Tips that i used
-Use the half baloon half minion attack (it doesn't matter if there is battle machine or copter)
-Upgrade an archer tower, a cannon and a multimortar to get the first requirement
-Upgrade multimortar to level 9 (or any defense) with a hammer of building
-Upgrade barbarians or hog glider (they are the cheapest and easiest to upgrade troops)
-Try upgrading both heroes (22 levels for each one and a extra level)
-Buy the gold and elixir from the store
As a free to play, i have 45/45 hero levels (the other requirements are completed)

I thought earlier today 'What if walls count for the 6th Builder requirement? Nah, there is no way they would allow that.' Also, I think you can still get away with rushing using the fast farming method with Power Pekkas. If you are losing a lot of defenses, you will just drop trophies and start getting matched up against BH 6s.

I just tried the wall upgrade technique, upgraded it to level 9 to complete one of the challenges of unlocking B.O.B, absolutely didn't work 😂

Something missed that's very helpful. It's super easy to get elixir if you start battles, drop a troop and surrender. Just keep repeating and empty the elixir cart every ten battles or so. Also drops your trophies to get easier battles then you can go on a gold spree just wiping bases.
yeah or place all troops and then swipe out of the app. you’ll get 3 stars easy if u use pekka
For upgrading any troop to level 18 you should rush your builder base to level 10 then upgrade your laboratory to level 10 then you unlock the electo-fire wizard that is level 17 . Then you only need to updrage the wizard 1 more level.
that's exactly what I settled on
But how about the troop that you will be using to obtain the loot needed to rush your BH to lvl 10? I think you need a reliable troop lvl to get those loot fast. So it's kinda equal, it's mainly on the strategy you will choose.
And what about me... Im just bh 3 who dont like to rush.....till i go to bh 7 there would be another builder hall coming

According to me you can upgrade the lab and barracks in builder base to get the level 17 builder hall wizard and upgrade him once I think this is much better as it allows us to complete the task as well as upgrade any troop to the max level

They probably fixed that "bug". This don't work anymore :(
for elixir, you just need to start an attack and drop one troop then surrender. You will drop in trophies which means more likely to get better defenses against weaker opponents meaning more elixir. If you drop too low, you can drop all your troops, force quit the game and log back in, then rince and repeat (you will get the end of your fight automatically done for you). This means, with a bit of dedication, you can get infinite ressources
U can also spam every troop instead of 1 so u get gold too
u don’t need to surrender if u force quit the game ( swipe it up) u will have abt 6mill elixir in 30minutes of constantly doing it i only dropped 100 trophies and got good efficient loot
@@bg3walsh the advantage of surrendering is that 1/ it is faster and 2/ you drop in trophies.
Dropping in trophies (not too much) is great for rushed BH like me because my defences are lvl 1 except the one I need to level for gear up. Meaning that I usually get 6 stared if I don't drop trophies. And with 500 less trophies, I get 1 or 2 stared which means still way more elixir than if I was higher in trophies but got 6 stared

on the task "upgrade any troop to level 18" I recommend the new wizard because he starts at level (17) so you only need to upgrade 1 more level but you have to upgrade to BB 10

I'm a town hall 7 and was pretty sure it was to early to rush builder base but now idk because i'm about to be th10 and th10 is all I need to get the sixth builder. so i'll just semi-rush to builder hall 9, while doing the tasks as much as I can along with maxing out my offensive stuff at least.
I am playing coc after almost 2-3 yrs now and I cant put my finger on it but there is something that makes progress in BH slower than before. I dont know if they have increased the upgrade time or what but it just takes forever to unlock and level up troops. I still remember how easily I had witches unlocked in my previous BH bases but now I'm stuck on Baby dragons for so long.
Upgrading heroes is THE WORST grind. Elixir is SO SLOW since pre update u had rushed to get the other upgrades now builder Hall feels like an insane chore.

if you're heavily rushed (like me) one army comp you can use is mass witches. I've been 6 starring so many bases as i'm also up against heavy rushed bases as well which has been easy to get the gold, and since it's sort of quick to finish battles, the elixir piles up easily as well.
ehhh i’m struggling on elixir rn because i’m always getting 6 starred so i’m getting like 16000 per every defense
nvm i just tested it out and uh i did like 15 battles in a row and got 300000 elixir
15 battles is way too many battles for 300,000
Getting Elixir has become a serious pain now. The only realistic way to get more Elixir would be,to deploy your troops,use all of their abilities and then force close app. Run it again. Within 5 minutes,you can get 300k Elixir using this strategy.
Use this strategy before Supercell decide to modify this loophole

A better way to earn elixir storage full is that you have to find a match and then release your troops instant and then cut down clash of clans form background
And then restart the game then attack , relaase troops , then cut down the game form background
You full your storage in an hour

Did they remove it so the wall doesn’t count anymore? I had three of the things taken care of and was working on the heroes to 45 and just saw they took away my lvl 9 defense task. Hut is still lvl 4 but that is red again
If I complete the lvl 9 challenge again, does the hut upgrade to lvl 5 or stay at lvl4?😂

For Getting loot i dropped my trophies from 2700 to 2000 range , so now i sometimes spam my level 13 pekka and level 18 cannon carts and close the app or sometimes just drop 1 troop and end battle and keep doing it for infinite loot
Just enough to be around 1900-2100 range , and keep storages full

@kenny jo, the wall upgrade trick no longer works. They patched it, you must upgrade any other defense to lvl 9 now. Everything else is still solid however. Great video, big fan!

that can be the best option. so I think minor rushing is still viable. you can rush to BH8 and start gear up task while in builder base you work on some defence before you go up

Could we possibly get a video on how to recover a rushed builder base after the new update / upgrade guide as I’ve just gotten 6th builder but now there’s healing hut and reinforcement camps etc?
So it means:
-upgrad mortar in builderhall always to max level for townhall so that you can get elixir out of his defence till level 8.
- upgrade archer tower to level 6.
- upgrade double canon to level 4.
Always dump elixir to heroes, never upgrade troops because they waste your elixir. And you will get level 18 troops easily by upgrading builder barracks.
Upgrade wall to level 9 and thats it

The lower level of BH( lvl 5 and lower) has became more annoying in the last update the troops are to weak and less you can't do much with them

BB2.0 is not supportive of rushing offense to get loot. U also need to power up defenses to be able to stay in a league to get a decent star bonus that will help with the upgrades. Rushing would eventually turn out to be a drag if u cannot get the loot regularly.
I agree. I’m a rushed builder base 9 and I have basically everything done except my heroes. I need like 25 more hero levels and 2 more levels on my baby dragon and then I’m done. I have so much gold and nothing to spend it on, so I’m using it on major defenses like crushers, firecrackers and mega Tesla. Multi mortar is already maxed.
Question. I currently have 5 builders in the home base and 2 builders in the builder base. Does unlocking the 6th builder for the home base move my 2nd builder from the builder base to the home base, essentially making it that I now only have one builder for the builder base?

But when you gain trophy’s from even 0 star attacks you keep getting harder based so you can never be gold and you get attacked harder so you never get elixir
The worst part of new builder bases 2.0 is to upgrade both heroes to equal level of 45 unless your battle machine was at level 30.
No, it's not like that, you need to have a combined hero levels equal to 45, so it means that if you have a level 30 battle machine you have almost completed the task cuz the new hero the battle copter is already lv.15 when it unlocks so you just have to unlock the new hero and you are done
the heroes not really need on level 45 on every hero, and the hero itself only have 35 level, what you need is two hero level combine will result total 45 level (for example you have level 30 battle machine and then level 15 battle copter, then you meet the requirement, cause you have total 45 level)

I'm TH12, BH9, but I don't have an option to gear up my cannon? What am I missing?
My cannons are lvl 15 for home base.
For builder base, my double cannon is lvl 5, and single cannon is lvling up to lvl 7.

Currently I have my master builder working on gearing up the mortar. I don't have a book of building. 😅 I'm thinking of still focus on upgrading my cannon cart to level 18 since they are more closer to unlocking the 6th builder. with raid medals not only you can get builder base resource but also 3 clock potion and 3 star jar per week

Finally got the 6th builder yesterday, and somehow the first task I achieved was the 45 hero levels.
Note on elixir!!! Can spam 0% attacks to get elixir as long as you don’t mind losing rank. Very quick
I like that it's any troop, defense to lvl 18. Having lvl 18 cannon cart suck now. I'm only 6 hero levels away myself until 6th builder. Big hype
I have the lvl18 cannon cart as I got the 6th builder in 2021... It feels so good when you so more damage than your opponent with mass witches

A vieble strat i learnd is, place all troops close the game, open the game and repeat, manage to farm about 2 lvl 20 upgrads for the mashines in 30 min, yes i dropt a bit in trophys but i manage to get in to a stable 1500 range, sometimes i have up to 10 defenses at the same time running, works evin better if you have a base that is not totaly rusht with only lvl 1 defenses
Sir Clash of Clans has fixed the trick to upgrade the wall......Now you can't do that task by just upgrading the wall......
Once I get this 6th builder, I'm not touching the builder base again until 2025 😮💨
