Great video . I like the concept of a pre manufactured ridge lines. it wold also work for a leash style arrangement. splicing an eye. long slice and short splice is basic nautical knotwork. It is also taught by the boy scouts of america and many other organizations. It can be used for both synthetica coradage and wire cabling.
yes you can. I demonstrated that in a video a few weeks ago where I talk about using braided ridge lines. iawoodsman also demonstrates the same technique in his video where I got the idea of braiding in the eye as oposed to the way I originaly did it..

I KINDA LIKE THE IDEA OF THIS BRAIDED LINE. IT LOOKS LIKE YOU COULD SLIP A TOGGLE THROUGH THE LINE FOR YOUR TARP SET UP
