OMG I could not enjoy the tingles because I was cracking up but that's a good thing because either I got tingles to go to sleep or I cracked up and got in a better mood😊😂 it's so crazy how I see so many people portrait what Jersey girls and men sound like and they all sound like you in this video. I am a New Jersey native born and raised. Nevertheless I always thought that it was an exaggeration I never thought that that's how I sound or anybody from Jersey sound but the more people play roles that they're from New Jersey you start thinking okay I can't hear myself speaking that way because this is where I'm from this is how I spoke my whole life and everyone in NJ as well. I lived in Texas a long time ago I was only for a year due to work and I remember that every single person that I spoke to would say that they love my accent & where do I come from they've never heard anybody speak like me and I would look at them confused and think what the hell are you talkin about I'm talkin just like you what accent😂😂 because you can't hear yourself. My family and I went to Florida to take my grandbaby to Disney World for vacation and every single person we spoke to or would hear us talking would say to us " I love your accent, are your from Jersey😅my family & I would be like WTF are they talking about What accent😂😂
I think that’s happened to me too before where I said “what accent?!” 😂 It’s funny because one day I did a fake accent in 1 of my videos and my subscribers wanted to hear it again. And then someone suggested I wear leopard print so then I just called it the Jersey accent. Lol I love watching Fran fine in the nanny and although her character is from New York the 2 accents can be pretty similar sounding. Some of my characters are exaggerated for entertainment/ASMR purposes so in no way am I saying all Jersey ppl act like this lol but I’d actually love to have a friend thats unapologetic like this character 😂 I agree we don’t know what our “accents” sound like to other people because we’re so used to it. Happy the video made you giggle ❤️☺️
