Not sure if this is a casual run or not, but the player is relying too much on his lasers. There's multiple points in the level where he has a charge shot going out and he ends up killing a couple of the enemies with lasers that would've been hit by the charge shot, such as at 0:47 , 1:15, 1:31 (missing out on a Hit +2, Hit+1 and Hit +1 respectively). There's also plenty of time to get two Hit +1's at 1:55. As for the boss of this level, the mechs are janky as hell to hit, since they bob and weave every which way, making it difficult to get a bead on them for constant damage. They make up for that by having very low HP (it's possible to beat the first two mechs in about ten seconds). I'd say this isn't a particularly hard level, but it can be a bit difficult for first time players to get the Medal for it. Clearing it's not too much trouble, mind.
If you score less than 100 kill points in Sector Y, than you have to go to Katina and meet Bill, your buddy as of next mission. If you score 100 or more in Sector Y, than you go to Aquas. It is easier to get a medal on your next mission than Katina.
They're better against cap ships because they can dodge point defence of warships with minovsky parties in Gundam. In Star Fox the Cornerians have NO fighter cover (or the fighter cover was destroyed/distracted elsewhere?)
@@oofnoise9741 That's what makes it satisfying, though. And you thought THAT was complicated? Try the warp from Sector X to Sector Z. Do that without losing a wing.
Nah, Aquas is the worst. It’s too dark, but not appealing dark like with Zoness. The Blue Marine is so clunky to control it gives a wingless Arwing a run for it’s money.
I liked it better when the giant gas "Y" was green.
I agree lol
Instead of being a nebula, yea the green Y was scary
Idk, it looks a bit more bland
The only part of the game that had human/primapeoid piloted mechs!!!!!
Starfox Assault had it as well but just in Fortuna mission.

yeah i know that
In mobile suit gundam, most aircraft would get clapped by a mobile suit,
In star fox an arwing puts the mobile suits through the ringer.
Fox is as good as Mu La Flaga
which always seemed dumb to me. giant clunky robots are somehow better in all ways than purpose built machines
Because most aircraft need some computers and radar to work, which minovsky/GN/ahab particles and therefore mobile suits specifically mess with.
