Appreciate this mate. I know it’s 11 years ago. You may never see my comment. Mum just had her big tie amputated. This is hopeful. Thank you

I lost my left big toe. I completely disagree. I boxed sonce a kid im currently 26. I had to change everything. I cant move anywhere near as good i used to. Specifically to my left side. The lateral movement is off balance and if i circle to the left its almost like im tripping myself. And on top of that its impossible to keep a normal stride when walking or sprinting. If i try to walk in a straight line it won't last long and when i sprint my left foot can't catch itself on my foot strike at top speed. Losing my big toe changed my life it took five years just to run ten miles again because of the amount of pain i feel. This doctor is honestly just yapping like losing pieces of your body means nothing.

Everyday wether going upstairs at home, pacing and texting or even being barefoot at all I feel pain. My ankle has been stiff too. I try to jump rope different and do footwork drills but I get pain on certain movements regardless. It's physically and mentally painful. I don't think that piece of balance will ever be there. It traumatized me as an athlete for sure. God's plan tho I'll never quit In Jesus name @@samsung.samsung7966

I don’t trust doctors. They just work for the insurance companies and the government and the Patient has become nothing but their profit center.

Im not sure about normally, but years ago I was in a club and saw a young woman dancing barefoot..she had no toes on her left foot, she did have a limp, but was able to dance, and she made no attempt to hide her toeless foot.
I noticed because I also have a partial amputation of my left big toe from an accident, which has never stopped me from doing anything although the end of my stump turned purple when it got really cold.

I think that they should stop making sugar because a lot of people get their feet cut and I had my feet cut because of diabetes caused from sugar so they should stop making sugar and then people won't get their feet cut anymore because I don't want people to get their feet cut.

@@helainegardner7971 There is a cure for diabetes. Eat healthy meaning no to low sugar and carbs, exercise, don't drink alcohol or use drugs, don't smoke. Now I understand that in some cases it is some type of genetic issue or one's diet may not be the cause, in this case then yes a cure is needed. However big pharma would never create a drug that cures diabetes, or cancer or any other disease that rakes in the $$$$ for the Bio-Pharmaceutical and Medical Industrial complex. There are homeopathic remedies on this earth given to us by GOD, but because we live in an Anti-Christ system AKA the Devil's Organization, God has been hidden from the masses, Satan is the God of this dreadful evil war ridden world and the people have been deceived, well not ALL people. Of course the Lord will eventually defeat evil and those that have remained true to the Lord will be rewarded whilst the evil wicked people of the world will perish.

I was pre diabetic and immediately stopped sweets. There's a bit of sugar in the cottage cheese I eat. Read labels! I was surprised how much sugar is in tomato soup! If I'm hungry, I eat cream cheese, cottage cheese, potato chips, eggs, salads, Lean Cuisine meals. I try never to eat over 10 grams of sugar a day. I was surprised my cholesterol is normal now since I stopped sugar. Be careful of low fat food. It usually has extra sugar. I found out sugar usually causes high cholesterol. Sugar is an inflammatory. Seriously, sugar should be banned. My sugar levels (A13) are normal now.

Wouldnt do a damn bit of good. Everyones body converts starch (bread, pasta etc) to sugar whether you eat actual refined sugar or not.
My blood sugar is at 87 if I dont have a couple big spoons of sugar in my morning coffee..then its 107
Not enough to be concerned with, although I know people who have serious problems with diabetes including neuropathy and circulatory issues including pressure ulcers they cant even feel.

I think they would just remove the nail itself. Amputation is last resort always especially in diabetics as infection rate is higher and slower healing.

Your wrong buddy.. my r2 toe (Right foot) was amputated, its now made the last 3 not bend at all, ligaments and tendons are destroyed. Its not the same in all cases, my balance is well off and when you walk your toes wont bend so you need to walk flat footed and after so many meters the pain starts with burning and eletrical shooting pains up the rest of the toe. It rubs on normal footwear and is only eased by wearing heel pro boot. Permanently!! and a crutch for longer distances! This is Coming from experience of a guy actually having a toe off.

    • @donreinke5863

Thats your experience, not everyones with an amputation or deformity is the same.
My left big toe was partially amputated in an accident when I was a teenager.
The end of my stump has turned purple when its really cold, but I can still walk for miles almost 50 years after my accident. Ive been told I walk with a limp, but I dont notice it.I dont really use that toe when walking, it sort of stays up, and i feel pressure behind my stump but not pain when I push down with it.
My shoe on that foot has always worn through faster behind my toes, I wear either athletic shoes or sport sandals whenever its warm enough.
I wore boots year round until 25 years ago.
