We love you in the states!! Been watching you for a year plus BUT don’t always comment. Just want to show you some love! I’ve watched probably all your Genesis ones and a lot of Hyundai and Kia ones too! Keep it up! I came to Korea a few months ago and I was like oh man what if I meet Him randomly! Haha

Hello!!! my name is Javier and I'm writing from Spain, I'm a fan of yours for a long time and I watch all the videos you post, I also thank you that I can read what you say in Spanish, you are the only one who does it, thanks again. I am passionate about cars and I have worked for Citroën and Nissan, and currently I am a loss adjuster. I am really impressed with this EV3, I think that in Europe for sure it will succeed, and in Spain too. Kia in Spain was in 2023 the third best-selling brand with about 7% of the market. What do you think of the future EV4, I had a few years ago a KIA RIO four doors and was delighted with it for the value for money, I love the design of Kia more than the Hyundai, and I am eager to see in EV4, I want an electric vehicle with sedan body, do you have any more data about this future model???? Thank you and keep it up.
Thanks for the love and support. I really appreciate that. It’s also great hearing that Kia is doing great in Spain. I don’t really go over speculations about cars. I only focus on cars that are actually revealed and focus on information that is solid and precise from manufactures. I have over 40 different language, subtitles and closed captions. Really appreciate that you’re using it 🙌
Requests for your long term review: 1. MyDrive mode review 2. Harmon Kardon stereo 3. Speed bumps and bad pavement handling and ride 4. What options do you recommend? I get a test drive on Friday afternoon in an Earth Long-range. Let's compare notes.
Self-drive test drive today. Wow. KIA has done a great job packing in the features for this price point. I don’t feel like it was lacking for anything and there was more than expected. Most of the cost for an EV goes to the battery and unless you’re buying a top-end car, the interior and comfort features are lacking or cheaply done. But somehow KIA has struck the perfect balance of price, range, and features. I think this will be the type of car that’s going to set the standard for other manufacturers and a car that will get people who were hesitant about buying EVs to buy one. In my drive, I was mostly interested in NVH, handling and ease of parking in a garage. We had it for an hour and I wish it could have been a little more but, it was good enough to convince me that we had made a good choice in making the purchase contract and giving up the GV60. It’s smooth over rough roads and irons out the many speed bumps on the roads in my area. And, that’s with the 19” wheels so, I think the 17” wheels will be even better. It was very quiet inside and the HK stereo was excellent. Acceleration was excellent in eco and normal modes and in sport mode really pushes you back in your seat! However, this is where I have my biggest concern: when accelerating quickly, the steering gets very light and the car wanders in its lane. I did not like that feeling of losing control. I ran it in I-pedal mode and, in regen level 3, it stopped itself so one-pedal driving is possible. An hour isn’t long enough to figure out all the features but I got through enough to decide that the EV3 is winner. Can’t wait to get my own but I’m waiting about six months so they can find a fix any early production problems. Looking forward to seeing your long-term review. If you’re ever in Pyeongtaek, let me know.
Thanks for sharing, I can actually relate to everything you've said. I will fill up the blank with my long-term & distance test drive happening in a few days. I'm actually driving it down to Busan from Seoul, will be doing 100% to 1% driving distance test as well. I actually seldom visit Pyeongtaek, I've been to Humphreys to display my Z for auto event and such, got some military and army friends as well.
Hi there been looking forward to you doing a first drive video so it was in English. I have a current Ev6 and thinking of one of these as my car is bigger than we really need so my question is what is the ride like by comparison with my car. I’m looking forward to seeing it in the metal at the launch event here in the uk later this year.
@@CarSceneKorea I find it alot more stylish than the Niro EV. The latest Niro doesn't do it for me. Tailgate looks too much like an old Ford Focus. The rest of the car just looks too bland for my taste. It is also longer than the old e-Niro and I can only just fit that into my garage.
@@mmuller2402In the UK SMMT figures show that only 1 sale in every 11 of an electric vehicle is a private sale. Most EVs are business purchases for the tax relief, fleet vehicles for a particular operator say a car rental company, or some sort of through work lease scheme so not owned - salary sacrifice. At 40k -60K for a well spec’d EV a handful of retirees and other people with access to a windfall are making purchases with a view of probably keeping their vehicle a long time. Until parity of price and parity of range between ICE and EVs mass adoption is on pause. The average person in the UK doesn’t work for enough money to buy an EV at £40-£60K and I include myself in that a double graduate with a good job just over national average salary and I’ve only been able to afford a GV60 which I’ve had two years from accessing a private pension early (windfall if you like). In the UK the Zero Emission Vehicle Mandate now in effect which will fine manufacturers for not meeting annual targets of a particular percentage of all their sales (22% in 2024, 25% next year and so on until 80 in 2030) being EV (£15,000 per non-EV vehicle) will bring down new sale prices as manufacturers try to courage sales to avoid penalties, will bring down 2nd hand EV prices and couple this with improvements in manufacturing technique, improved tech lowering battery prices and economy of scales and more competition as more brands and models becoming available I think the EV market is looking bright- in 12 month as we end the first year of the mandate we’ll start to see some great purchase deals! But as an average person if do decide buying an EV rather than leasing is for you I would recommend the best spec you can afford (OTA capability, heat pump, fast charging speed, big battery, full suite of driving assists and cameras) with a view to future proofing it as best as you can and with a plan to keep it a long time. Just my thoughts.
Thank you for your video. Is it possible to have a deeper analysis about the infotainment system? I mean is it possible to have Spotify or UA-cam installed somehow ofc not using Android auto or Apple carplay?
Yes, UA-cam and other OTT streaming services are available from the onboard ccNC system. The available apps though would differ depending on the market.
Which tires did this one have? I’ve ordered an EV3 with 17 inch tires. You’re sitting pretty high up. Looking forward to receiving it in February 2025. As always very informative review from you 👍 Already saw your previous review 😎
It had 19s. Not sure which brand of tires it had though. I did lower the seat all the way down, which I mostly do with in test drives. The seat might have been a bit upright though.
@@CarSceneKorea Thank you very much for your reply. 😀 No problem at all, just curious. Will enjoy this car very much once I receive it. You did as well. Keep up the good reviews 👍
Good that you mention the protective film on the dashboard. Other reviews on YT do not (always) mention it and then one might get the impression that the dashboard has a lot of glare.
Congratulations for such nice review of this magnetic car. I like it a lot. What denomination of the white color is exactly? I know there are two of them. Is the pearl one? Thank you and see you in the next video.

@@CarSceneKorea I think I’m misunderstood. I meant when you’re talking about the battery capacity of EV3 you can also say the battery capacity of rivals. For performance and size as well. I didn’t mean a comparative drive test :)
ive seen this car driving around and couldnt beleive actually what i saw, just beautifull in real life! And i probably think the designer of this car is a big Starwars fan like me. THis white colour in particular with the piano black touches added to it, for me it resembles alot starwars stormtrooper :D
Any news on the EV5? Would assume that it will first become available in South Korea and then some months later in Germany. EV3 also looks really nice, but I think my family and I will need the additional space of the EV5.
Are the OTA limited to infotainment updates? For example ev9 in europe is limited and you still need a dlvisit to the dealership to install updates related to the car
OTA is capable of updating more than just infotainment related software, but HMG hasn't been actively using other updates indeed. Vehicle dynamics related update can also be done, technically.
Thanks for this and hello from a 5 year plus e-niro owner in France. I will be interested to see what you think of the ride/comfort on a long trip as well as the efficiency. We love our e-Niro after 106,000 km, reliable, comfortable and efficient but not a 'ground up' EV design of course. Love the look of the EV3 which should arrive in France before the end of this year.
I sure am coming up with a comparison video with Niro EV, the latest one. Is there anything in particular you think I should concentrate when making the video?
@@CarSceneKorea Thanks for getting back to me. Yes please. I have driven the Niro EV and the new Kona, both cars have a more composed ride than the e-Niro, especially the Kona which I thought was very comfortable and smooth riding. At my age comfort and NVH of the vehicle is important,😊 although the e-Niro is quite good it is an 'early days' EV and things have moved on. I would also be interested to know about the type of battery and who the supplier is for the EV3, which will be made in Europe at the plant in Slovakia as I understand it.
Your hand health is a nice video. What are the interior trim options of the car? Can you try the car in environments such as off road? Can you include the automatic parking assistant assistant in the scope of the review.
Thanks for a great video! Think the car looks awsome! In the front it looks like a Stormtrooper 😁 I would like to know a little bit more about the sound system. How does i sound? How is the bass? How many speakers and so on. Differens when you play by AA vice BT? Thanks for sharing.
@@CarSceneKorea Thanks for the info, another question. Assuming they are for the same price and the need is to mainly move in the city, which car would you choose as more safe and value for money KGM Torres EVX of KIA EV3?
Love your videos about KIA! Super excited for the KIA EV3. One question: how much is the EV3 GT Line there in Korea? So i can have a glimpse of what to expect here in southern Europe.
Standard: 44.30M KRW ($32,458 USD) Long Range: 48.50M KRW ($35,535 USD) Very rough and direct currency conversion from Google. After all tax benefits, subsidies, etc. you can get in Korea.
Nice reviews, happy that I found your channel direct from the source of Korea. Can you by any chance meassure the distance of the chargingport "door" when you open it? Like from the car surface till the end of the chargingport door. Because for me its super bad to charge at home, to the wall on my right and limited space.

Cant Wait for your Next Long Term testing video, by the way, dont you have any information about the suspension set up n ground clearance of the EV3? And which manufacture of the battery, I think those will be somethings important for customers to consider , anyway keep up the good works💪
On Europe it is not really cheap but it does have almost everything you would expect. Few reviewers have said that back doors don't open that wide (example put child seat on).
Great review! Went to the UK reveal yesterday and was very impressed by the car, so much so that I put down a deposit for delivery in late November 2024! 😎 The only two things I could find that bugged me were the strange sliding ironing board (!) thing in between the front seats (I’d much rather have seen a storage cubby hole under the hinged arm rest … why does it even hinge if there’s nothing underneath it!?), and also having the heated and ventilated seat controls by the door handle … with the shiny buttons, it’s really hard to see which symbol is which. They should have put the buttons on the … sliding ironing board thing I reckon 😄 Still, small gripes for another otherwise amazing car 😎👍🏻 I look forward to hearing your thoughts once you’ve done some longer distance drives! Have you driven the previous e-Niro or Niro EV by the way? I’d love to know how the EV3 compares in terms of ride comfort / realistic range as that’s what I have at the moment. Thanks again! 🙏🏻 PS. Some really nice unexpected treats from Kia that I wasn’t aware of - double-glazed front windows, wireless CarPlay, 360 camera, tilting rear seats, dual-level boot … very nice!
Your comment alone is another great review of EV3! Thanks for sharing, thoughtful insights I see. That sliding ironing board haha is actually gone on lower trims and hence that hinge, put together the heated/ventilated seats' location due to the same reason. Yes, I've driven all Niro thus far and I will be comparing EV3 to Niro EV :)
@@CarSceneKorea- thanks for your reply! Looking forward to your comparisons with the Niro 😀👍🏻 Interesting that they’ve removed the ironing board in lower trim levels! What is there instead?
@@CarSceneKorea Oh interesting! I wonder if I can have a lower trim level for the arm rest and a higher trim level for the rest of the car?! 🤣 I really don’t see what purpose that sliding board serves 🤷🏻♂️… it’s too hard for an arm rest, too small and awkward an angle for working on (eg. on a laptop) … I just don’t get it … have you spoken to any Kia reps about it? What do they say it’s for? Thanks!
People tend to spend more time in a stationary EV compared to ICE, so many designers try to foster the time spent inside the car hence the table, I assume :)
There are lots of things to consider when using a wheel/tire from a different car, but simple answer will be yes for most cars so long as the offset is okay. Most HMG cars have the same pdc.
Thanks for the great video. Is there any information about the minimum width of a garage the EV3 is able to drive into using remote parking? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Best regards from Germany
Although I do not know the precise number for that, the car will be very reluctant to move if it is near a tight parking lot, but you can try a several times to move it little by little. That's what I did.
@@CarSceneKorea Thanks for your response. I wonder if there is any specification about this feature (or on Teslas summon feature). If the car refuses to drive into a tight garage which would still be doable by a good driver, the feature is useless.
It does turn on and off the highbeam, but not the delicate version like the IFS, Intelligent Front Lighting system or that of a Genesis’ MLA, Micro Lens Array.
Weird how your videos always have closed captions turned on which I turn off and then it re-enables again after an ad occurs no idea why it only happens on your videos as I follow EV UA-camrs from around the globe. Thanks for the drive as well DK on this EV3. Looking forward to what Hyundai brings out to mirror the EV5 & EV3.
Thanks for the informative video! Can you you confirm that the speed limit warning and lane assist are on as default every time you turn on the car even if you turned them off before? These functions are buried deep in the menu system and it would be a pain to turn them off every time. Thanks!
Not sure about the speed limit, but lane assist is easily turned on/off with a physical button on the steering wheel. Those things could differ from a market to another due to safety regulations.
Because of so many comments, i couldnt read all of them. I apologize if you answered before. Do you know gt line’s cubic /adaptive headlight has the ifs/matrix technology? I’m from türkiye 🇹🇷 and i’m gonna buy this spec. Thank you, you are awesome btw 😊
Great content, thank you. I haven’t watched the whole video (yet), but I have a few questions I hope you answered here or you could answer in the long term video. For context, we own a Tesla and a Zoe, so we know how you can make an EV right (Tesla) or wrong (Zoe). The Zoe is great if you can charge it at home but has serious issues like the inability to arbitrarily turn on HVAC and find the cabin at a decent temperature. Also you cannot run the AC while charging. So the first questions would be those: can you start the HVAC at any time from the app? Can you run the HVAC while charging? Then we’d love to see some self driving on the motorway, possibly with lane changes (that I believe the car has). Sorry for the wall of text, hope to watch the new video soon!
I will test those out on my next test drive. As for the HVAC, it always has been possible to have it running while charging and also run it using your smartphone ever since the E-GMP chassis and platform. HMG EVs before that, I didn't really have my hands on them, so no clue.
@@CarSceneKoreaamazing, thanks. About OTA updates, does the car have WiFi or those come via cellular? That is a big issue with our Renault, of course no problem with the Tesla. And apologies for what may sound like noob questions, but I never researched KIA products.
Hello. Thank for many great videos. When you tell about the consumption, can you please give the result in kilowatt hours/ 100 kilometer. That is more know in europe.
Hello, very nice video! Do you know the price of EV9 and EV3 in Korea? In Finland EV9 pays 86.700 Euros. I could compare the prices and make a good quess of EV3 in Finnland.
I sure am coming up with a comparison video with Niro EV, the latest one. Is there anything in particular you think I should concentrate when making the video?
Efficiency seems awesome. There is a car in the US that will hopefully come out next year called Aptera. I am looking forward to seeing it's miles per kWh when it releases.
I have to admit the IONIQ 5 is better and an upgrade of a car compared to the Kia E3 in many ways possible. However, if there are traits that you prefer from the Kia EV3 such as the size, the unique feature, tech the car provides are what’s intriguing you, I would definitely check these two cars out in person then decide. I would also include a test drive if possible. I will mostly go with IONIQ 5 PE if the price is not a factor.
I'm going to lease the earth version. I wanted to know how the audio system sounds like, any good? I also wanted to know if the earth version gets the sky roof? I've seen it doesn't have the table like the gt or business models have..
I hardly ever go over sound system because I know little to none about it. The sunroof option might depend on your market, so please check with your local dealership.
I rarely see anyone cover comfort of the middle rear seat. For families of 5 with older children. Can you address this category? For current Ioniq 5 and EV6s, I noticed the folded up rear arm rest is a bit hard on the back and not comfortable at all. But kudos on the great review of the EV3!
if you think about kia ev3 is a B segment car and new ioniq 5 is C segment car, what would you say if compare this two in ride quality (quietness, suspension comfort, road noise, wind noise at high speeds like 120 kph) ?
Please compare the diffent editions. Normally when you guys make at test its the most expensive edition. Please remember to talk about the cheaper ones.
While the design includes vertical headlamps and advanced lighting concepts like the Star Map signature lighting, there is no mention of matrix LED technology being available for this model.

I am definitely coming up with the EV3 & Niro EV comparison video :)
Haha
I used to live in LA, often visited K-town 😉 Would be quite interesting if someone actually does recognize me on the streets in the States lol. Thanks for the comment!
Hello!!! my name is Javier and I'm writing from Spain, I'm a fan of yours for a long time and I watch all the videos you post, I also thank you that I can read what you say in Spanish, you are the only one who does it, thanks again.
Really appreciate that you’re using it 🙌
Requests for your long term review:
1. MyDrive mode review
2. Harmon Kardon stereo
3. Speed bumps and bad pavement handling and ride
4. What options do you recommend?
I get a test drive on Friday afternoon in an Earth Long-range. Let's compare notes.
I assume you are in Korea? If not, where else is the EV3 available now? 💥
Will find those out on the next test drive for sure.
@@CarSceneKorea yes we live in Pyeongtaek
Hi from Türkiye. I'm excitedly waiting for this car to arrive here.
I sure do hope so! 🇹🇷
It sure does feel "different," but I shall come up with more details in my next video after a few hundred kilometres of driving :)
Thank you for sharing. If possible, could you also share your experience with night driving?
Coming!
Pre-ordered a EV3 GT Line S yesterday. Sunset orange. No heat pump. Replacing my almost 3 year old e-Niro 4+.
What made you replace the e-Niro to this EV3? Would help with my next video a lot!
@@wattoukwhy do you buy cars every 3 years 😂
Where did you order it?
I wish I had that kind of money to replace cars like I replace phones lol. One day...One day...
@@mmuller2402In the UK SMMT figures show that only 1 sale in every 11 of an electric vehicle is a private sale.
Most EVs are business purchases for the tax relief, fleet vehicles for a particular operator say a car rental
company, or some sort of through work lease scheme so not owned - salary sacrifice.
Hey CarSceneKorea. Coming to 서울 tomorrow ! In a hurry to test drive this car. Thanks for your revues.
Hope you enjoy it!
Love it. Thanks
EV3 is gonna eat up all of the market that the EX30 was supposed to take 😂. Good job Kia releasing the EV3 sooner rather than later!
Another fantastic review 🏆🥇 the only EV I’d purchase 😍 I’m obsessed 🤭
Cheers 🙌
Really appreciate the videos of the EGMP cars!! 😎👍
Covered all of them indeed 😎
Informativer und interessanter Bericht. Das wird unser nächstes Auto.

Glad you enjoyed it, I will keep it coming!💪
Thanks from Harry in the U.K. for the informative & entertaining video......I've ordered my EV3 gt line S for collection in October!
Glad to help 🙌
Good that you mention the protective film on the dashboard. Other reviews on YT do not (always) mention it and then one might get the impression that the dashboard has a lot of glare.
@@stefan2796 I did not have any glare issue with EV3 throughout my 1,000km test drive :) Working on the edit!
Congratulations for such nice review of this magnetic car. I like it a lot. What denomination of the white color is exactly? I know there are two of them. Is the pearl one? Thank you and see you in the next video.

@@CarSceneKorea not just Kia competition but like Volvo ex30, mini countryman etc.
@@akyelli Only if I had the resources..!
@@CarSceneKorea I think I’m misunderstood. I meant when you’re talking about the battery capacity of EV3 you can also say the battery capacity of rivals. For performance and size as well. I didn’t mean a comparative drive test :)
I’m waiting for this car thanks a LOT.
My pleasure 🙌
So happy with my Kia Sportage. But also ev 3 and ev9 looks amazing. Hello from Greece.
They are my favorite EVs as well!🇬🇷
Glad to hear that.
ive seen this car driving around and couldnt beleive actually what i saw, just beautifull in real life! And i probably think the designer of this car is a big Starwars fan like me. THis white colour in particular with the piano black touches added to it, for me it resembles alot starwars stormtrooper :D
Couldn't agree more! Glad you like it! 👍
Any news on the EV5? Would assume that it will first become available in South Korea and then some months later in Germany. EV3 also looks really nice, but I think my family and I will need the additional space of the EV5.
EV5 first debuted in China, still yet to come to Korean market.
Cant wait to see next episode with EV3! Just wondering if this would be a proper replacement from my Ioniq Electric 38 kWh that Im driving right now ?
@@januszpodgajny9903 this would definitely be a step up from the Ioniq electric in almost every way except price
I am pretty sure it will be an upgrade from that car before even test driving it on long distances.
Thank you. I read somewhere that the AC Charger can be upgraded to 22kw as an option. Do you know anything about that?
First time hearing such, have never heard of such "upgrade" from a Korean spec model at least.
Your hand health is a nice video. What are the interior trim options of the car? Can you try the car in environments such as off road? Can you include the automatic parking assistant assistant in the scope of the review.

Thanks for a great video!
Think the car looks awsome!
In the front it looks like a Stormtrooper 😁
I would like to know a little bit more about the sound system.
How does i sound? How is the bass? How many speakers and so on.
Differens when you play by AA vice BT?
Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the idea!
Excellent review, thanks for your work! Quick question, doew EV3 facilitates a heat pump for heating/airconditioning?
Yes it does :)
The GT-Line is 47k, the GTPlusLine is 49k over here in the Netherlands. They should probably between 2.5k-5k cheaper in Southern Europe.
Standard: 44.30M KRW ($32,458 USD)
Long Range: 48.50M KRW ($35,535 USD)
Very rough and direct currency conversion from Google.
If I ever test drive the EV3 again, I shall try!
Love it!!
Glad you like it!

Cant Wait for your Next Long Term testing video, by the way, dont you have any information about the suspension set up n ground clearance of the EV3? And which manufacture of the battery, I think those will be somethings important for customers to consider , anyway keep up the good works💪
I have done test driving EV3. Currently working on the edit. I will post it as soon as possible!
On Europe it is not really cheap but it does have almost everything you would expect. Few reviewers have said that back doors don't open that wide (example put child seat on).
I shall try fitting a child seat.
Watched the first video, now watching the 2nd. Question: what is the deal with bidirectional chargers / wall boxes for EV's in Korea??
Great review! Went to the UK reveal yesterday and was very impressed by the car, so much so that I put down a deposit for delivery in late November 2024! 😎
The only two things I could find that bugged me were the strange sliding ironing board (!) thing in between the front seats (I’d much rather have seen a storage cubby hole under the hinged arm rest … why does it even hinge if there’s nothing underneath it!?), and also having the heated and ventilated seat controls by the door handle … with the shiny buttons, it’s really hard to see which symbol is which. They should have put the buttons on the … sliding ironing board thing I reckon 😄
Still, small gripes for another otherwise amazing car 😎👍🏻
I look forward to hearing your thoughts once you’ve done some longer distance drives!
Have you driven the previous e-Niro or Niro EV by the way? I’d love to know how the EV3 compares in terms of ride comfort / realistic range as that’s what I have at the moment.
Thanks again! 🙏🏻
PS.
A conventional arm rest + storage.
@@CarSceneKorea Oh interesting! I wonder if I can have a lower trim level for the arm rest and a higher trim level for the rest of the car?! 🤣
I really don’t see what purpose that sliding board serves 🤷🏻♂️… it’s too hard for an arm rest, too small and awkward an angle for working on (eg. on a laptop) … I just don’t get it … have you spoken to any Kia reps about it? What do they say it’s for?
Thanks!
People tend to spend more time in a stationary EV compared to ICE, so many designers try to foster the time spent inside the car hence the table, I assume :)
Between LR EV3 vs SR IONIQ 5 which one is a better choise (they are same price in my country
I'd go with EV3 unless you need the space IONIQ 5 provides.
The EV3 is at the top of my list when I trade the Tucson PHEV in next year. Hope I can afford the GT Line, love the car.
Thanks for the info. I appreciate it.
Any time!
Thank you for the great video. Is it possible to know if the wheel rims(19”)is compatible with other Kia/Hyundai rims?
There are lots of things to consider when using a wheel/tire from a different car, but simple answer will be yes for most cars so long as the offset is okay. Most HMG cars have the same pdc.
Quick question, need answer ASAP!!! Best option between BYD Yuan Up and KIA EV3??? Thanks
I cannot answer that since I've never been in a BYD yet. Korea does not get BYD.
Thanks for replying!! I am writing form Colombia / South America. Excellent videos!! I think I am going to choose the EV3!! Regards!
Great review! It seems like an interesting alternative to the Volvo EX30....when the price is released here in Sweden
Fingers crossed! Hope Kia give us a competitive pricing on this beauty!
Top speed of vehicle? Adjustable suspension and over the air updates?
Thank you
Really helpful video - thanks. One question - does the EV3GT line come with auto high beam assist?
@@keithhills8366 Yes.
Thanks for letting me know!
EV3 & Fisker are the two most exquisite looking new electric designed cars
Thanks for the informative video! Can you you confirm that the speed limit warning and lane assist are on as default every time you turn on the car even if you turned them off before? These functions are buried deep in the menu system and it would be a pain to turn them off every time. Thanks!
Not sure about the speed limit, but lane assist is easily turned on/off with a physical button on the steering wheel. Those things could differ from a market to another due to safety regulations.
@@CarSceneKorea Thanks! One more reason to love physical buttons.
How is the ground clearance vs an Ioniq 5? Does it seem bigger overall?
It's smaller than IONIQ 5, it's nearly the same size-wise to Kia Seltos & Hyundai Kona.
Are Korean EV3 stock built also in China?
Because of so many comments, i couldnt read all of them. I apologize if you answered before. Do you know gt line’s cubic /adaptive headlight has the ifs/matrix technology? I’m from türkiye 🇹🇷 and i’m gonna buy this spec. Thank you, you are awesome btw 😊
Yes, but not as delicate as that of Genesis.
Any videos coming for EV5? I believe that maybe coming to NA before EV3.
Korea does not get EV5 yet, so you won't be seeing it on my channel any time soon😭
It's a simple conversion, divide 100 by the number of kms per kWh
Hello, very nice video! Do you know the price of EV9 and EV3 in Korea? In Finland EV9 pays 86.700 Euros. I could compare the prices and make a good quess of EV3 in Finnland.
I'll get back to this on my Q&A.
Would love to trade my 2021 Niro hybrid for the EV3 but concerned that it maybe a bit to wide for UK parking spaces and minor roads.
I will have the sizes for you comparing the EV3 to Niro EV.
How would you compare the driving experience between the EV3 and the Niro EV? Is the EV3 as happy to spin the front tyres as the Niro EV?
I sure am coming up with a comparison video with Niro EV, the latest one. Is there anything in particular you think I should concentrate when making the video?
Efficiency seems awesome. There is a car in the US that will hopefully come out next year called Aptera. I am looking forward to seeing it's miles per kWh when it releases.
Just finished 1,000km test drive with EV3. Stay tuned 😎
What do you think about ioniq5. İt has 800W . What will your prefer EV3 or ioniq5 thanks ❤
Would you know when new KIA Sportage is going to be released and when can we get the first sneak peak?
It will soon be out here in Korea, won't be long.
Looking forward to your review. Let me know once you get your hands on it please. Great work! Thanks.
Thanks for the question, added on the list :)
could you find out the turning circle? many thanks
Although I can’t provide precise numbers, it is similar to a subcompact SUVs like Kia Seltos which is my daily.
Sound insulation and wind noise would be great to know more about.
Sure thing. I will also include the highway!
I’d love a comparison between EV3 & Ioniq 5. I’m probably going to buy one or the other.
Are the wipers rain-sensing? Heat pump? Heated steering wheel? How does it compare in quietness to the EV6?
Yes to everything you’ve asked. A video comparing EV3 to EV6 is coming up soon!
@@CarSceneKorea Great. Looking forward to it!
How's the driving experience vs the Volvo ex30, any experience with that? Very curious as these cars are top of my list.
if you think about kia ev3 is a B segment car and new ioniq 5 is C segment car, what would you say if compare this two in ride quality (quietness, suspension comfort, road noise, wind noise at high speeds like 120 kph) ?
There sure is a difference between the two. I did go over in a comparison video to that of the EV6 which is equivalent to that of IONIQ 5.
Can you save seat and mirror positions at driver's profiles and do they get automatically switched based on driver's account in the Kia app?
Didn't have the chance to find that out😭
Hi great review! No rear wiper, some big issue on the Ioniq5, can you test if it's problem on this one?
There is a rear wiper, it's really well hidden.
Please compare the diffent editions. Normally when you guys make at test its the most expensive edition. Please remember to talk about the cheaper ones.
I always want to, but test drive cars available are mostly loaded ones for the obvious reason 😭I'll try my best!
