Thank you!! Have you seen what some crafters do with dollhouses and Sylvanian homes to dirty them up and make them look like old European buildings (Sylvanians) and haunted houses? It’s amazing! But I don’t have the heart to dirty up this mansion - I love the color scheme too much.
@@SylvanianWorld Oh yes, I've seen some amazing ones but I know exactly what you mean, especially with the older/rarer buildings, to me they're just too precious for black paint and all that. But it definitely has that haunted house vibe, even just some cobwebs would make it look super creepy, and decorations and dim lighting could be used to really spookify it. The inside would be so fun... my wheels are already turning for my own houses LOL... haunted hospital wing, mad scientist's lab, critters hiding behind screens, skeletons dangling... fun fun!!

Thank you! Yes, maybe I'll make a haunted exterior in the future. I don't have to heart to doing anything permanent to the exterior, though , to make it dingy. I agree -- the blue is so pretty.
That's a really great idea using tape for the wallpaper. I'm curious if repeating pattern washi tape would work well as strips like wallpaper as it's so easily removable too.
That is such a great thought with the washi tape! I have only used it for borders and trim on projects in the past. One issue I see as a potential problem is fitting your hands into tight places if trying to line up the tape in a Critter house. But I can also imagine a wider tape with nice floral pattern looking pretty nice as wallpaper. The double sided tape I use does loosen in some places so I have to push it down to re-stick, but it is also easy to pull the paper out, apply another piece of tape and put it back in - much better than the mess of anything permanent.
It’s become beautiful. I really like the way you decorated the walls and the Floors to create Some more colour in the big house! So many little orphans Will find there a Nice cosy welkome home 🥰. Did you also paint the outsite of the house because it was in different colours at first?
No, I did not paint the outside of the house. It’s normally cream colored with blue roof. Another version of the house has a green roof and yellowing exterior. Glad you liked the decorating inside.

What do you think of me changing it to “Sylvanian World of Applecrumb Whimsy?” Applecrumb is important for me to keep in honor of my mother who I used to affectionately call my “Apple pie.” And Whimsy describes everything that I love and wish to be. Would appreciate your feedback.
Are there other versions of this besides the blue roof and green roof versions? I just discovered that the Green Hill house has 2 other variants: a blue roof AND a purple roof. Lovely 🥰
I’ve only seen the blue and green roof versions for the mansion, with the blue being more rare. And yes, the Green hill has purple and blue versions - the green is my favorite. The porch is so lovely on the green hill house. I love how these older homes are so spacious. Thank you for watching my channel!
Thanks for your question. My critter collection will keep me busy for the rest of my life. Still have sets from over a year ago I haven’t even unboxed and lots of vintage displays I want to do. So I don’t plan on collecting Koala Diary.
