Re: Mustadio (and future named characters) losing all plot significance when they become playable - yep, that is unfortunately how it works. As mentioned, sometimes, if they're very lucky, a character will get one or two lines of in-combat dialogue if brought to specific story battles, but otherwise, they lose their voice and relevance as soon as they become playable (and thus, able to die).
Re: the Church's plot - don't want to get too specific for sake of spoilers (you're assumedly further ahead, but still, erring on the side of caution) - I think what's most interesting about the auracite plotline is that different characters, even within the same faction, seem to have different amounts of knowledge and motivation for collecting the stones. I think the general, most widely-known reason for it within the church (and to those outside who know of their schemes) is as said, to use the legend to pose the church as the peoples' saviour, with self-selected "Zodiac Braves", rather than literally summoning historical figures. Obviously, it's Final Fantasy, so there's more to the stones (and the plot) than that, but still.

Amusingly, the "I made up the prophecy/legend" bit was done by the final boss of Final Fantasy Mystic Quest.

Bread effectively has 0 protein because the protein content on the label is mostly gluten. Nutrition facts labels overestimate the protein of plant foods to varying degrees because it's just measuring the nitrogen content of the food and not the actual amino acids or their ratios.

    Hello Scenario Busters!
Have you even lived if you haven't been sniped by giant robo Mustadio with a sniper rifle in the Orbonne monastery?
    Hi fakenet.

Speaking of good DBZ games on the DS, Monolith Soft made a turn based jrpg called Attack of the Saiyans which is wild because how many turn based jrpg Dragon Ball Z games are there?
The only other one I can think of is one from the snes. Anyway it was actually way better than it had any right to be. Probably because Monolith Soft made it.
    Mini series when?
