This beautiful song and the somewhat sad yet amazing lyrics with a little story about two little hopeful birds growing up together and then being seperated by faith for no actual reason until one of them accidentally kills the other one, is probably the most beautiful way of showing that life is a little bitch.

I just want to let you guys know that you have a fantastic gift. Your lyrics are intelligent and intelligible, your musicianship is superb (I love your composition, each song feels like you are telling a proper story, not some bullshit with 2 choruses and a bridge) and you seem to have found your stride very very quickly. Props for the Warhammer moniker. In closing, I bought this album the very second I was able to, and even though I hadn't slapped my stepchild for a day or two, I didn't have enough semen. After one but before the next,
In a tree where new life writhed and flexed
Two birds emerged to hold the world
And grow from feeble talons curled
But fate see them part that day
As lightning cut their branch away
By winds to distant places sent
Almost as if it all had meant
That though their bloodied wounds would fade,
They'd wonder where their brother lay
For every day from that day on
They'd wait to hear a certain song
In vain, for years, thought one was strong
And one was not, for far too long
Until his bones and thoughts were old,
And feathers burnt and lost and cold
The stronger of the two could see
A distant bird, how weak was he
In drawing near but knowing not,
Just who he was, or why, or what
the stronger talons tore at flesh
And stripped away that feathered mess
And all without a sound or cry,
    Or even ever knowing why
Yet as the sun began to sink
He seemed to sense, he seemed to think
That soon his brother might appear
From somewhere close, from somewhere near
Convinced this was his brother's fate,

Be'lakor is better than almost all of the bands that are popular now and next month no one will be talking about them, since they all sound the same. NONE of these bands can hold a fucking candle to be'Lakor in terms of beautifully constructed riffs so complex and melodic, even deaf ass mozart would head bang if he could hear this. They are on par with gojira, the architects, parkway drive, on the list of real metal bands with talent and a unique sound.
they sound like a real band, with everyone contributing to the masterpiece not a handful of riffs recycled through the whole song like most of the new bands.
each one of their songs reminds me of norse mythology as the soundtracks for the various epics, and stories like beowulf.
their music is like a good story it has a plot, a setting, a certain atmosphere that is different from song to song. like different stories. no other band ive ever heard comes anywhere close. its sad it took me 4 hours of crawling through the underbowels of youtube's metal tracks to get to a song by them.

AND ALL WITHOUT A SOUND OR CRY
    OR EVEN EVER KNOWING, WHY?

    Very inspired lyrics.
Reminds me of an old Arthurian tale in which two brother's fight fully geared, and thus shrouded. Upon dealing mortal wounds to one another, they unmask to see their own brother staring back at them in the thralls of death.

I've been listening to this song for years now, and it's still one of my all times favorites. The last verse always hits home for some reason.

The production and general sound signature of this album is just glorious. I usually like raw metal but I was disappointed with Vessels' rawer production because the sound Be'lakor had going on this record was just perfect.

100% agreed, the production on this album is a masterpiece. One of the best I’ve heard in all of metal, period.

True to the certain point, but I think more that Vessels is more poetic and melancholic than Of breath and bone. I can't be true 100% as I-m not sound expert, but in my opinion is not the matter of production. Still, with vessel on lower level, they are masters!!

Coherence is shaping up very nicely on that front. Hidden Window is glorious in all respects.

This album cover is easily one of my all time favorites, this and probably Comalies by Lacuna Coil...I love how the wolf and the girl compliment each other, like two contrasting parts.

It is now about a year since I discovered this band, and I listen to it EVERY SINGEL DAY as it is now my favorite of all. And every day it amazes me how incredible amazing this music is, the sound, the guitars, the vocals, the lyrics and of course the atmosphere in it.
