I love these videos and I thank you for posting them as often as you do. Makes me wish I could get out there more and do this kind of thing more often!
thanks Brian ! The video was great and we had a wonderful time. We Plan on being there next year when the weather is a bit cooler ! What a great bunch of people !
You know a UA-camr is doing something right when you revisit a video more than one time. And you are definitely doing things right. I look forward to my videos having the qualities that yours have. Thanks for setting a good standard. God bless!
+Snowalker13 Sounds to me like somebody else is full of the steamy stuff. You're doing a fantastic job bro. Like I said..... I'll be happy if I can do it half as good as you. The videos that is. Lol
Hi Brian! Thanks for sharing this video with us. It was interesting to see other people's outfits, gear, and smoke-poles. I particularly enjoyed the mis-fires. Can you "walk" us through how the "woods walk" match was set up and how it was scored? It looked like everyone was having a good time and enjoying themselves.
+Martin Meltzer Sure man it scored hit/miss and at the end contestants shot at a turkey feather for multiple points. You start from one end and work your way through the woods till the last target.. Thanks for your comment and for watching Martin!
Thank you for posting this, It looks like a good time with some good folks, sometimes you gotta take a step back to go forward. and back looks a lot better than what's ahead.
Great video Brian, this is off topic I know but with winter coming up I'm wanting to get a boreal bush shirt and was wondering if you could tell me what size you got yours in? I'm in the U.K. so sending back if it doesn't fit is going to get expensive, also are they generously sized, i.e. plenty of room hahaha I'm large around the middle pmsl. atb. Shane
That was fun to watch, thanks for sharing..If someone wanted to get into this type of thing and you lived in East Tenn what would be the correct group I should be trying to get in contact with? Thanks
+Big Matt Personally I would start researching things on my own, and get a feel of it and then decided if i really want to pursue it. You have several forts in and around Eastern TN. Fort Loudon Fort Southwest point, Bledsoe's Station to name a few in TN, Martin's Station in VA is close by most hold events there at one time or another during the year check in to those and watching some videos on my play list can give you a good starting point on your research. Good Luck!!
Looks like a good time. Not to be a safety Sally but.... Since you're basically wearing a grenade around your neck, me thinks it prudent to swing your horn to the rear prior to firing. Case in point, gentleman sealing rear plug at beginning of vid, and person at 8:47 wearing across the breast when firing. Plenty of documented cases of horn failures. Be safe & cheers.
+Max Allister Point taken, however the Why would you assume that the horn actually had powder in it because the horn was in fact empty while he was sealing it up prior to use. In the shooters you're correct no doubt but you catch everything bro....thanks
+Snowalker13 Oh, I'm sure you guys are safety conscious and everything it's just where I'm from the nanny state where I live would have just about pooped themselves.

When are they having it this yr 2018?
Sadly we're not
I hate that. Thanks
I see all the men doing the fun stuff. what do the women do at these events?
+Ibpn Did you miss them shooting, and throwing hawks as well? a lot of them compete with us as well. Some kick back and relax and do the cooking lol
Snowalker13... my vision is about gone. I didn't see them shooting, sorry.
+Ibpn I wasn't trying to be a smart ass, I think Mad Anne was the only girl to shoot in a dress, the others were pretty much camouflaged like the guys
Snowalker13 .... I didn't your comment in a negative way. I just couldn't tell the women were shooting too.
Ok good lol!
So much for "No shooting 500 feet from a public road."( in my state anyway......)lol
+Tony Dadon Yeah well trust me we were in a safe zone nowhere towards the road
+Snowalker13 Oh, I'm sure you guys are safety conscious and everything it's just where I'm from the nanny state where I live would have just about pooped themselves.
