this is exactly how you should test a senior react native developer to know at what level the dev is at the moment of the interview. no coding challenge, no live coding, just simple questions and reviewing the past experiences. it's easy to know if one developer is not qualified for the job. nice interview guys, keep up!
Wow, he's so confident and I can tell has a strong knowledge in his expertise. As a junior developer, it was really impressive and learned a lot. Thank you for sharing the great video 👍
This is great but i think he could have asked many more advanced level questions about background processes, native modules and components, deeplinking, Threads and much more. I mean these are very advanced and technical questions that one must ask to such an experienced developer
Some answers were literally exact copy of documentation which is of course great but I can say he def was preparing a lot for this interview, I would say quoting docs is the best way to be able to defend your answers so cudos to you.
I've been using React Native for a while now, this is a great reference for me as a checklist on the principles and methodology used when developing with React/React Native that I should know and discuss with confidence. Thanks for this I'll improve on my knowledge regarding react native then try to apply on Turing! Hope I'll be able to get a good remote job! Good job guys :D

nowadays, interviewers prefer to ask algorithms than all these questions like this video for all levels, and they think algo is more important than specific knowledge. So sad
There is no virtual DOM in react-native because there is no DOM either on android nor on iOS. React-Native utilize Shadow Tree: ua-cam.com/video/8va9prUqjnA/v-deo.html&ab_channel=CallstackEngineers

Why does my interview ask me from fabric architecture up to NASA space shuttle program.
If you make a video on " How to start with react native and what r the topics need to be covered ?" means would be great.

You had me😂😂😂😂😂
I'm a bit surprised `console.log` with a `__DEV__` check was good enough for debugging. Flipper?
