Great video and thanks for mentioning not to caulk all the way around the base. That way the water will seep out if you have a leak and it won’t rot your floor out hopefully. I would suggest different Johnnie bolts, but hey use what you like.🇺🇸👊🏼

These are the two brands that we never had problems with and my two plumbing guys always preferred to use these as well as I do as well
I recommend these because they are strong they don’t break, and they last a long time without corroding
That's a great install video, ace! 👍👍👍I like the Milwaukee Wet Vac and the Ergo Mat.😻 I have a cheaper Craftsman Shop Vac that I bought many years ago, and I roll up an old blanket or towel to pad my knees on hard surfaces. In an older home designed for larger flow toilets, these low flow toilets can be a problem. According to my ace plumber, they don't flush well and cause line blockages as he experienced after installing them in his own home. Try to keep your old one or get a higher gallon new one if possible.
I don’t know why so many plumbers don’t like Kohler toilets. I put 2 in my house over 8 years ago they have both been good. One was used even. I do agree that the flush is different, but the water savings is very real. Thank you always for the great comments.
Sure, you bet. In the good old days, toilet tanks held about 7 gallons of water. I currently have 2 gallon toilets, and they don't flush that great. I often have to flush them twice. Go down to 1 gallon (even with pressure), and I see how line blockages could become a problem. Anyway, it's good to hear that they're working for you in your case. 👍👍👍 @@ThatFixItGuy

I had an American standard cadet from the 1980’s and we got a new bathroom back in 2023 and I decided to get a Kohler cimmaron revolution 360.
3 weeks later and I still works! But now I know there's a hidden shim in there 😏

I got one of those suction pumps that are for sucking oil from lawnmowers and such and it is great i suck up water or oil holds couple gallons i believe different size skinny tubes to fit variety of uses.

Good vid! Was wondering about using a PVC extension kit on top of a metal ring. Is the flange extension fitting down inside a 3" pipe? No issue with narrowing the drain?
