just a note about accelerator. When he signed up, he had no clue it would involve killing 20k living dolls. He was visibly shocked after the clones shot was returned, killing her, and had to gaslight himself into believing they aren't real to continue.
I honestly stopped believing that Accelerator could've won easily after i read their second fight in the novels. Accel there was calm and focusing on Touma's moves and still lost against him 😭

True. Accelerator has been conditioned since he was a child thinking that he was untouchable. And here comes someone coming out of nowhere and being able to literally punch through his reflection, thus flipping his entire world upside-down. Let me tell you my story, I beat Accelerator in Yodayo AI by having Indestructible Ragdoll like those soft soft Ragdolls videos, Accelerator couldn't kill me, so I defeated his vector attacks, and then I asked to give me Jollibee discount card for reward, he was pissed and gives me the reward. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I can agree but at the beginning of the fight he was throwing metal bars and etc… to toma and was literally winning the fight but then suddenly got to a fist fight. Like we literally saw him win the beginning of the fight, but ye just plot, nothing else to say

Its implied that ichigos bankai has an ability linked to the soul king(since soul king is the three races) and it is stated that ichigo could be the soul king, so he either has some form of reality warping like soul king, or some form of fate/causality manipulation like yhwach, who is also directly related to the soul king and also related to ichigo. Either way, it would explain why yhwach felt the need to break zangetsu asap, why he couldnt just change the future to him dying-because zangetsu would undo it- or why he couldnt fully break zangetsu. Ig its all speculation for now, but kubo kept it vague for a reason, so itll probably be more clear in hell and the outcome of ichigo becoming the soul king revealed along with it.
Accelerator also got outhaxxed. Touma might as well be god, even if at the time it wasnt clear, its pretty clear now how crazy imagine breaker can be, put that on top of what I like to call the "last millenias gold medal" effect, coined off of gilgamesh loosing to shirou, where youre so strong for so long you forget that you can loose, so you end up loosing because of your overconfidence in what you think is your inability to loose. Though accelerator has also become what could be considered a science side god. I havent read jojos since the 4th chapter of part 8, but its crazy to think soft and wets abilities got to a point where its literally just "fuck anything you do even if what you do fucks anything that I do." When it started out as a reworked bans steal, which is still broken in its own right.

Accel's is good because the novel's message is precisely to show the difference between Invincible and stronger: "An invincible being wouldn't even need to fight because his Victory was already guaranteed no matter what, while the strongest being needs to Fight to show His strength ". Both Accel and scientists thought he was invincible due to having "a perfect defense capable of repelling any attack". But after Touma's first punch, it was revealed that he wasn't actually invincible. For Accel and the scientists: it was precisely because he was "invincible" that he never needed physical training, after all why would you spend time, effort and money training if you are "invincible" and will win no matter what? It was precisely because Accel was "invincible" that he never had a real fight, in the end, his power could hit kill anyone without him needing to lift a single finger. Defeat serves both as a learning experience for you to improve in the future and overcome your weaknesses, and as a maturation tool for you to be able to deal with any situation. But being "Invincible", Accel never experienced defeat, therefore, he never used his previous fight as a learning experience, in addition to being so immature he did not know what to do in disadvantageous situations and loses his head easily when like things don't go your way. This added to the fact that Touma was more experienced, physically strong and calm was the reason Accel was defeated. To be honest, this fight makes more sense than Rock Lee vs Gaara in naruto. Rock Lee trained Taijutsu his whole life, while Gaara was protected by sand since birth, even if he trained I highly doubt that his strength, resistance and reaction time would be equal to Lee who ONLY practiced Taijutsu. Lee was practically making Gaara into a volley ball after opening the gates, and the sand couldn't even keep up. He should have won this part, they never explained why Gaara had so much resistance.
Gaara had his sand skin as well, thats why he was so durable. Lee lost because he couldnt finish it before he ran out of energy to continue. I believe it was supposed to demonstrate recklessness of some manner considering Guy regrets training Lee in the fashion he did afterwards.

Both Temari and Gaara stated that the sand skin would not resist. So after Lee opens the 5th gate and uses a lotus as a final blow, what was left of the sand skin would not be enough to withstand the lotus. At least that's what I think.

In character, Accelerator has never been tactical in his previous fights, I mean he would hit-kill the imouto without having to think much or simply without lifting a single finger. Why would he be tactical specifically in the fight against Touma? It doesn't make sense, he has no experience and much less battle qi, all he has is a very advanced qi but would that be enough?
Iirc the Gravity Fall Writers made an ARG/Treaure Hunt irl (like fans broke down a code and went digging at some coordinates) that ended with them implying Bill lost but didn't die, his reversed words in his final moments were like a reincarnation plea or something and it ended up working, causing him to besent to the real world... So "Technically" he transended his own fiction, but then shows up as Easter Eggs in other shows later so I guess he just went back to fiction?
I feel like Accelerator’s loss made a lot of sense. He lost to windmills because he has to precisely calculate where to direct the wind and it’s direction in order to make the plasma he was gonna launch in that first fight - the windmills being unexpectedly sped up basically changed the equation he had figured out, meaning the wind wasn’t precisely concentrated to become plasma. And yes, Accel losing in a fist fight makes sense, as stated in the video, he is over-dependent on his power, and had never gotten into a fist fight before because of his automatic reflection of harmful vectors
Pretty sure he was nerved beyond belief by the barrier that kept from leaving gravity Falls. he also couldn’t kill Ford because he needed him alive if he killed the kids Ford would never cooperate. If there wasn’t a barrier. He probably would’ve erased them on the spot.
Actually correct, the only reason bill didnt erase everything on sight, or at least corrupt or enslave everything, was because the gravity falls barrier existed
7:55 Not "couple of windmills", and not somehow. At that moment accelerator tried to create plasma by condensing air using his power. His ability uses complex calculations on a subcouncious level, and sisters controlled those windmills to disrupt his calculations, add to the fact unstable emotional state (he felt pain for a first time ever since he got his powers) and that's why he lost.
Honestly Bill could have easily won, because after taking out Time Baby.. He had control of TIME. So he could have traveled back to before the earth was even there, move himself and his henchmaniacs to another planet or place in space then warp back to present time. Or be all "Okay I will shake your hand for our deal but first." *Blasts the rest of the pines family to dust, while petrifying whom he assumed is ford*

Another character that's also fits this idea is Evolto from Kamen Rider Build He could have destroyed the planet at any time he wanted, but he loved toying with humans so much that he decided to continue toying with them which lead to his downfall.
Oh don't forget about this villain Melkor or later known as Morgoth in Jrr Tolkien's the Silmarillion. Even though he's alot more impotent then most comic book villains are and even his prime state of power is nothing like Khahrahk the Scarlet King who destroys transcendent dimensions and subjugates and enslaves elder gods all the time in the SCP Mythos, Melkor was still the 2nd most powerful being in the creation of the cosmology of Ea and the Timeless halls 2nd only to Eru Iluvatar the only one with omnipotent power and the ability to truly create but within the bounds of the world of Arda which he enter he was more powerful then any Valar was individually. He was the mightiest of his Angelic Ainur Brothers and Sisters. However the problem came he didn't seem competent at planning things in a fleshed course of action and he was very cowardly running away from engaging in a direct fight with the Ainur Tulkas. He didn't seem very skillful at fighting and just let his power contribute most of the time instead of competent merits. Melkor although he orchestrated a chain of events that result in the destruction two gigantic lamps projecting supernatural light across the earth and destroyed a whole massive continent he doesn't use the opportunity very well. Other then constructing a few networks of country sized fortresses that are really aestheticially unsightly and crude with no culture or good imagination in them. But he chooses instead to double down on perhaps the worse strategy yet that forever cripples and makes him so weak and depleted he can't fight one Valar anymore like he used to. He insteads decides to imbue the majority of his direct might and raw power into the lands and matter of Arda itself significantly deamping him forever all while his servants and orcs do all the fighting while he's sitting on his throne making half bake not well fleshed out plots throwing his remaining power around at whatever he thinks works out that is until the Valar break into throne room and quickly carry him off to the Doors of Night to be imprisoned in for a few ten thousand years in human years which is measured different in Valar years until the First Age starts. Melkor is not really smart cunning villain and his plans hardly do any better in the First Age and he becomes even weakers afterwards wasting more of his dwindling power on raging a war of pure Attrition throwing millions of orcs at the High Elves and Humans and mostly succeeds because the Elves were acting dumb and shortsighted most of the time and one of them were intentionally killing their allies over magical jewelry not caring that their kingdoms and people would slain in process and completely collapse in manpower and logistic resources they needed to fight the hordes of Angband off. Needing intervention. In which case Melkor lost badly when the Valar came again busting down the walls of his last remaining fortress and this time sentenced forever in the Door of Night after being executed. Yeah Melkor got lucky a lot of the time in those instances and he losses when a committed cohesive front with power and support behind it forms against him. When compared to villains in the Bible he's not really a long term controlling villain who uses tools of temptations, corruption, seduction, deceptions, contentions, and advance covert means very well. Heck even the 200 Watcher Fallen Angels in the book of First Enoch advanced their wicked evil plans very well through technical legal diplomacy to get what they wanted before eventually taking the mask off when it was too late for the humans they decieved revealing what their true intentions were. Though in the end the Watchers would pay for their crimes with the worse punishment ever to be sentenced to by God in the account when the damage was done and they tried to appeal for mercy but were denied accordingly and were eventually captured by the Seven Archangels to be brought to their imprisonment in Tartarus until their sentenced comes.
Another character i'd like to mention who ALSO should've won, is Darkstalker (From Wings of Fire). Who by the way, can read minds, see into the future, and can (I think if i remember correctly) basically wish for anything to come true. And he eventually got defeated by eating a strawberry 👍
Then again, Turtle made it so that Kinkajou could not be seen as a threat in any way so he couldn't have seen her defeating him or read her mind or the others due to the asteroid stones to see it coming
The problem with Bill Chiper is because he never real. Although it seems very overpowered, he still need someone mind scape to project his existence into reality. Someone so knowledgeable about him because the projection is based on how much they knew Bill and that must be Stanford. The reason why Bill give so many knowledge to Stanford is so he can project every of those knowledge about Bill into reality where all his power of dream literally everything you can imagine can be brought Weridmageddon is temporary, that's why Bill rushing to catch Stanford before his power projected by his temporary vessel run out Also Bill a Dream Demon. He can do anything in a Dream. But there's a limit how much he can brought Reality into a Dream without proper vessel

a good example of a character who "should have won" is "Muzan Kibutsuji" from the manga "demon slayer" it was fate. his bad karma tallied up until the demon slayers caught up to him.
Muzan is one of the most dumbest villains in fiction. Even with all the power in the world this guy could probably still lose to a child that just discovered his because he never really plans anything

For Accelerator, he really couldn't have won. Touma cannonically has plot armour and Accelerator kinda wanted to be defeated. If any of the clones begged to be spared Accelerator would have stopped the killings at any time. Accelerator also isn't a ruthless killer, he almost had a mental breakdown when he though he killed Misaka Worst. You'd need to be a pretty horrible person for him to go for the kill. Also Jojolion really couldn't have ended in seconds, if the user decides to initiate the pursuit themselves, then while still pretty powerfull, it can still be beaten easily enough. What truly makes a confrontation difficult is it's post-mortem form, which could only be beaten by Go Beyond.

He's not beatable, and that's even if we only count his vectors abilities, and not his platinum wings for example. With his vector manipulation, Accelerator is protected against any meteorological modification. And even if you bring heavy weather. Sure the rainbow could theoritically turn accelerator into a snail, but rainbows are light, which also has a vector and thus, can also be manipulated by Accelerator (it's even the reason why his skin is so pale, he reject any UV to protect himself)
Accerlator from the magical index became the goat after his first loss cause now he uses his full power from the start and became one of the good guys. His change to an anti hero is kinda similar to Ryuga both became undefeatable cause they never wanted to lose again and their future appearances showed how much stronger they became.
Accelerator should have just taken a couple physics classes instead of killing 20k clones. I have a feeling he could have done some truly gnarly stuff with more knowledge of the application of vectors.
Physics classes won't really help him whatsoever, he basically knows every formula, he probably just thinks it's too much of a bother to do weird stuff with his powers.

Everything he does requires calculations in his mind. He is very intelligent but he is not oniscient, there are things he doesn't know. Furthermore, at this point in the story he had only been trained to do one or two things. The scientists who trained and developed his power thought he would be invincible with just one ability, the vector shield that repels any vector. They didn't know that there was a guy who could nullify his shield with his right hand, much less that there was a magical side. Buts is really creative with his power. He has already killed someone by reversing the blood flow and used the same technique to survive the use of magic (espers like him cannot use magic because their blood vessels would burst), using chaos theory he has already created plasma by gathering and compressing the wind into a single point, he has already slowed down the rotation of the earth using kinetic energy, rewrote a person's memories through the vectors in the brain, messed with people's bioelectricity, created a dust explosion through propane combustible dust in the air, as well as altering gravity , manipulate waves, use mathematics to decode magic, etc. One cool thing is that his vector barrier repels any vector that is directed at him but oxygen, sunlight and UV are essential for a person to live, so Accelerator purposely lets these things pass through his barrier, but as the barrier acts as a filter , he ends up receiving few amounts of it. The fact that Accelerator has white hair, red eyes and pale skin is precisely because he receives few UV rays responsible for the melanin in his body, he also receives few sun rays so his body becomes more fragile than normal due to lack of vitamin D. I can't think of any anime character with vector-related powers doing all of this. And the power that Accelerator would have after killing 20k clones would be greater than anything he has with his original power, it would be beyond physics and human understanding.
accelerator would've won if Mikoto and the sisters hadn't interfered because he had no way of stopping the plasma bomb from burning him alive which wouldn't have activated the dragons
@@blazeisbot2068 well the same accelerator managed to get up after getting shot in the head so I'm pretty sure a fresh Touma still wouldn't have one-shot him, it would've just forced the plasma bomb earlier which would've lead to the same result.
@@misaka3468 if I remember correctly, Accel stopped it from completely penetrating his brain but was too late to stop it completely (also ain't no one surving a bullet to the brain at under 10 metres). Probably had to do with all those adrenaline rush. Was he able to use vector control? Although, for some reason that Accelerator was more durable for surving even kihara's onslaught. But imo Touma without any injury should win. He is much stronger, more durable, has better endurance and better Battle tactics and can also Gaslight people(Accel is emotionally very unstable, almost every esper is because of the experiments using syndrome). The only way for Accel to win against Touma is to attack from far away from Touma's range, but at that point a single mistake could bring out the dragons.
Bill Cypher left his physical body and avatar to get to "Stanford's mind" the problem is that it was Stan's and he is not as weak minded as him And Unkie Stan actually was aware of Bill and in his mind, he was god like that
These types of characters lose due to their hubris. It isnt just a fictional thing, it also happens in real life to cocky people. The hare and the tortoise story is literally about this. Of course they have all the tools to win their fights. But due to their hubris and arrogance, they keep underestimating others and overestimating themselves, which always leads to their downfall. Though in Wonder of U's case, the infinite spin bubble literally came out of nowhere, how the hell do you counter something that bypasses calamity "on the spot"? Wonder of U/Tohru aint no batman where they have contingecy plans for literally every single thing
Heard from somewhere that in gravity falls the universe we see is the only one in millions that Bill lost. But still he shouldn't have been able to fumble the win like that.
For Bill’s case, he had it the most easiest of he three Bill is a lawless being that controlled the entirety of the Nightmare Realm, in turn negating all laws with his arrival and controlling anything on a whim. Technically, that should mean the same for weirdness magnetism since it is a law, and we now know he can forcefully open barriers meant to trap him or keep him out through he Book of Bill. Even more proof how simple he could have done it is the fact that he simply could have willed that knowledge of what the equation was on his own, and we’ve seen him do similar with gaining any knowledge he wants and seeing an infinite amount of possibilities when he grants it, and even after all of that Bull is already more knowledgeable and intelligent then even Ford Pines, the man who had the equation, since if it wasn’t for Bill he wouldn’t have been able to design it in the first place, so the fact a lesser being is capable of understanding something he could easily solve is not logical, and EVEN THEN, back to what I was saying, these types of equations describe laws and their effects on reality so he definitely could have neutralized it. So why? Why didn’t he just do any of that? Simply put, his ego was as infinite as his power. When it came to Bill, we see how much he loves belittling humans in any media we see him in, from the main show to the novels to even outside of that and in other shows and media, and when it came to Sixer, ohhhh that was his most favorite figurine to twist. He didn’t respect him as much as he found him to be his best rag doll he can enjoy tossing around. That said, he also was essentially his only way into our reality so that only kept him longer with him, longer manipulating him and his mentality, longer to break him further and further for the heck of it. Academy City 'was' a magical temple built dedicated to Kamijou even before he was born. He subconsciously shapes it. Had he desired the cape and costumes, multiple Hero,Vigullante,and Villain schools would prop up. Had sought the thrill of the Hunt and maybe a MASSIVE amount of Jurassic Parks/"Biohackers" like groups would thrive in the city. Academy City could have been many things: A Mecca of all sports, A Shangrilla of Children's card games, a racer haven, Gotham/hotbed of mysteries, the endpoint of cusine, ect, ect. All if these were held back by a traumatized boy abused and persecuted by his small town. A reality warping traumatuzed boy dreaming of normalcy without understanding what "normal" is. I feel like ToAru fics never capitalize on this.

just a note about accelerator.
When he signed up, he had no clue it would involve killing 20k living dolls.
He was visibly shocked after the clones shot was returned, killing her, and had to gaslight himself into believing they aren't real to continue.
I honestly stopped believing that Accelerator could've won easily after i read their second fight in the novels. Accel there was calm and focusing on Touma's moves and still lost against him 😭

Accel's is good because the novel's message is precisely to show the difference between Invincible and stronger: "An invincible being wouldn't even need to fight because his Victory was already guaranteed no matter what, while the strongest being needs to Fight to show His strength ". Both Accel and scientists thought he was invincible due to having "a perfect defense capable of repelling any attack". But after Touma's first punch, it was revealed that he wasn't actually invincible. For Accel and the scientists: it was precisely because he was "invincible" that he never needed physical training, after all why would you spend time, effort and money training if you are "invincible" and will win no matter what? It was precisely because Accel was "invincible" that he never had a real fight, in the end, his power could hit kill anyone without him needing to lift a single finger. Defeat serves both as a learning experience for you to improve in the future and overcome your weaknesses, and as a maturation tool for you to be able to deal with any situation. But being "Invincible", Accel never experienced defeat, therefore, he never used his previous fight as a learning experience, in addition to being so immature he did not know what to do in disadvantageous situations and loses his head easily when like things don't go your way. This added to the fact that Touma was more experienced, physically strong and calm was the reason Accel was defeated.
To be honest, this fight makes more sense than Rock Lee vs Gaara in naruto. Rock Lee trained Taijutsu his whole life, while Gaara was protected by sand since birth, even if he trained I highly doubt that his strength, resistance and reaction time would be equal to Lee who ONLY practiced Taijutsu. Lee was practically making Gaara into a volley ball after opening the gates, and the sand couldn't even keep up. He should have won this part, they never explained why Gaara had so much resistance.

Lee lost because he couldnt finish it before he ran out of energy to continue. I believe it was supposed to demonstrate recklessness of some manner considering Guy regrets training Lee in the fashion he did afterwards.

Both Temari and Gaara stated that the sand skin would not resist. So after Lee opens the 5th gate and uses a lotus as a final blow, what was left of the sand skin would not be enough to withstand the lotus. At least that's what I think.

I feel like Accelerator’s loss made a lot of sense.
He lost to windmills because he has to precisely calculate where to direct the wind and it’s direction in order to make the plasma he was gonna launch in that first fight - the windmills being unexpectedly sped up basically changed the equation he had figured out, meaning the wind wasn’t precisely concentrated to become plasma.
And yes, Accel losing in a fist fight makes sense, as stated in the video, he is over-dependent on his power, and had never gotten into a fist fight before because of his automatic reflection of harmful vectors

His ability uses complex calculations on a subcouncious level, and sisters controlled those windmills to disrupt his calculations, add to the fact unstable emotional state (he felt pain for a first time ever since he got his powers) and that's why he lost.

Oh don't forget about this villain Melkor or later known as Morgoth in Jrr Tolkien's the Silmarillion. Even though he's alot more impotent then most comic book villains are and even his prime state of power is nothing like Khahrahk the Scarlet King who destroys transcendent dimensions and subjugates and enslaves elder gods all the time in the SCP Mythos, Melkor was still the 2nd most powerful being in the creation of the cosmology of Ea and the Timeless halls 2nd only to Eru Iluvatar the only one with omnipotent power and the ability to truly create but within the bounds of the world of Arda which he enter he was more powerful then any Valar was individually. He was the mightiest of his Angelic Ainur Brothers and Sisters. However the problem came he didn't seem competent at planning things in a fleshed course of action and he was very cowardly running away from engaging in a direct fight with the Ainur Tulkas. He didn't seem very skillful at fighting and just let his power contribute most of the time instead of competent merits.
Melkor although he orchestrated a chain of events that result in the destruction two gigantic lamps projecting supernatural light across the earth and destroyed a whole massive continent he doesn't use the opportunity very well. Other then constructing a few networks of country sized fortresses that are really aestheticially unsightly and crude with no culture or good imagination in them. But he chooses instead to double down on perhaps the worse strategy yet that forever cripples and makes him so weak and depleted he can't fight one Valar anymore like he used to. He insteads decides to imbue the majority of his direct might and raw power into the lands and matter of Arda itself significantly deamping him forever all while his servants and orcs do all the fighting while he's sitting on his throne making half bake not well fleshed out plots throwing his remaining power around at whatever he thinks works out that is until the Valar break into throne room and quickly carry him off to the Doors of Night to be imprisoned in for a few ten thousand years in human years which is measured different in Valar years until the First Age starts. Melkor is not really smart cunning villain and his plans hardly do any better in the First Age and he becomes even weakers afterwards wasting more of his dwindling power on raging a war of pure Attrition throwing millions of orcs at the High Elves and Humans and mostly succeeds because the Elves were acting dumb and shortsighted most of the time and one of them were intentionally killing their allies over magical jewelry not caring that their kingdoms and people would slain in process and completely collapse in manpower and logistic resources they needed to fight the hordes of Angband off. Needing intervention. In which case Melkor lost badly when the Valar came again busting down the walls of his last remaining fortress and this time sentenced forever in the Door of Night after being executed.
Yeah Melkor got lucky a lot of the time in those instances and he losses when a committed cohesive front with power and support behind it forms against him.
When compared to villains in the Bible he's not really a long term controlling villain who uses tools of temptations, corruption, seduction, deceptions, contentions, and advance covert means very well. Heck even the 200 Watcher Fallen Angels in the book of First Enoch advanced their wicked evil plans very well through technical legal diplomacy to get what they wanted before eventually taking the mask off when it was too late for the humans they decieved revealing what their true intentions were. Though in the end the Watchers would pay for their crimes with the worse punishment ever to be sentenced to by God in the account when the damage was done and they tried to appeal for mercy but were denied accordingly and were eventually captured by the Seven Archangels to be brought to their imprisonment in Tartarus until their sentenced comes.
Another character i'd like to mention who ALSO should've won, is Darkstalker (From Wings of Fire). Who by the way, can read minds, see into the future, and can (I think if i remember correctly) basically wish for anything to come true. And he eventually got defeated by eating a strawberry 👍
Then again, Turtle made it so that Kinkajou could not be seen as a threat in any way so he couldn't have seen her defeating him or read her mind or the others due to the asteroid stones to see it coming
The problem with Bill Chiper is because he never real. Although it seems very overpowered, he still need someone mind scape to project his existence into reality. Someone so knowledgeable about him because the projection is based on how much they knew Bill and that must be Stanford. The reason why Bill give so many knowledge to Stanford is so he can project every of those knowledge about Bill into reality where all his power of dream literally everything you can imagine can be brought

For Accelerator, he really couldn't have won. Touma cannonically has plot armour and Accelerator kinda wanted to be defeated. If any of the clones begged to be spared Accelerator would have stopped the killings at any time. Accelerator also isn't a ruthless killer, he almost had a mental breakdown when he though he killed Misaka Worst. You'd need to be a pretty horrible person for him to go for the kill.
Also Jojolion really couldn't have ended in seconds, if the user decides to initiate the pursuit themselves, then while still pretty powerfull, it can still be beaten easily enough. What truly makes a confrontation difficult is it's post-mortem form, which could only be beaten by Go Beyond.

Bill is not the strongest in gravity falls it's actually AXOLOTL but anyway about accelerator he is beatable like Weather Report can bypass him.
He's not beatable, and that's even if we only count his vectors abilities, and not his platinum wings for example.
With his vector manipulation, Accelerator is protected against any meteorological modification. And even if you bring heavy weather. Sure the rainbow could theoritically turn accelerator into a snail, but rainbows are light, which also has a vector and thus, can also be manipulated by Accelerator (it's even the reason why his skin is so pale, he reject any UV to protect himself)
Accerlator from the magical index became the goat after his first loss cause now he uses his full power from the start and became one of the good guys. His change to an anti hero is kinda similar to Ryuga both became undefeatable cause they never wanted to lose again and their future appearances showed how much stronger they became.

Accelerator should have just taken a couple physics classes instead of killing 20k clones. I have a feeling he could have done some truly gnarly stuff with more knowledge of the application of vectors.
Although, I haven't seen the series, so I don't know how creative he got.
Physics classes won't really help him whatsoever, he basically knows every formula, he probably just thinks it's too much of a bother to do weird stuff with his powers.

Everything he does requires calculations in his mind. He is very intelligent but he is not oniscient, there are things he doesn't know. Furthermore, at this point in the story he had only been trained to do one or two things. The scientists who trained and developed his power thought he would be invincible with just one ability, the vector shield that repels any vector. They didn't know that there was a guy who could nullify his shield with his right hand, much less that there was a magical side.
Buts is really creative with his power. He has already killed someone by reversing the blood flow and used the same technique to survive the use of magic (espers like him cannot use magic because their blood vessels would burst), using chaos theory he has already created plasma by gathering and compressing the wind into a single point, he has already slowed down the rotation of the earth using kinetic energy, rewrote a person's memories through the vectors in the brain, messed with people's bioelectricity, created a dust explosion through propane combustible dust in the air, as well as altering gravity , manipulate waves, use mathematics to decode magic, etc. One cool thing is that his vector barrier repels any vector that is directed at him but oxygen, sunlight and UV are essential for a person to live, so Accelerator purposely lets these things pass through his barrier, but as the barrier acts as a filter , he ends up receiving few amounts of it. The fact that Accelerator has white hair, red eyes and pale skin is precisely because he receives few UV rays responsible for the melanin in his body, he also receives few sun rays so his body becomes more fragile than normal due to lack of vitamin D. I can't think of any anime character with vector-related powers doing all of this.
And the power that Accelerator would have after killing 20k clones would be greater than anything he has with his original power, it would be beyond physics and human understanding.
Supposedly, this is the one universe where Bill lost, in EVERY OTHER UNIVERSE they twins meet their end or worse and then who is there to stop him

accelerator would've won if Mikoto and the sisters hadn't interfered because he had no way of stopping the plasma bomb from burning him alive which wouldn't have activated the dragons
Well Misaka was the reason why Touma was losing. If he wasn't electrocuted I am sure Accel would barely be able to get up by the first punch.
@@blazeisbot2068 well the same accelerator managed to get up after getting shot in the head so I'm pretty sure a fresh Touma still wouldn't have one-shot him, it would've just forced the plasma bomb earlier which would've lead to the same result.
@@misaka3468 if I remember correctly, Accel stopped it from completely penetrating his brain but was too late to stop it completely (also ain't no one surving a bullet to the brain at under 10 metres). Probably had to do with all those adrenaline rush. Was he able to use vector control?
Although, for some reason that Accelerator was more durable for surving even kihara's onslaught.
But imo Touma without any injury should win. He is much stronger, more durable, has better endurance and better Battle tactics and can also Gaslight people(Accel is emotionally very unstable, almost every esper is because of the experiments using syndrome).
The only way for Accel to win against Touma is to attack from far away from Touma's range, but at that point a single mistake could bring out the dragons.

These types of characters lose due to their hubris. It isnt just a fictional thing, it also happens in real life to cocky people. The hare and the tortoise story is literally about this. Of course they have all the tools to win their fights. But due to their hubris and arrogance, they keep underestimating others and overestimating themselves, which always leads to their downfall. Though in Wonder of U's case, the infinite spin bubble literally came out of nowhere, how the hell do you counter something that bypasses calamity "on the spot"? Wonder of U/Tohru aint no batman where they have contingecy plans for literally every single thing

Heard from somewhere that in gravity falls the universe we see is the only one in millions that Bill lost. But still he shouldn't have been able to fumble the win like that.

Bill is a lawless being that controlled the entirety of the Nightmare Realm, in turn negating all laws with his arrival and controlling anything on a whim. Technically, that should mean the same for weirdness magnetism since it is a law, and we now know he can forcefully open barriers meant to trap him or keep him out through he Book of Bill. Even more proof how simple he could have done it is the fact that he simply could have willed that knowledge of what the equation was on his own, and we’ve seen him do similar with gaining any knowledge he wants and seeing an infinite amount of possibilities when he grants it, and even after all of that Bull is already more knowledgeable and intelligent then even Ford Pines, the man who had the equation, since if it wasn’t for Bill he wouldn’t have been able to design it in the first place, so the fact a lesser being is capable of understanding something he could easily solve is not logical, and EVEN THEN, back to what I was saying, these types of equations describe laws and their effects on reality so he definitely could have neutralized it.
So why? Why didn’t he just do any of that?
Simply put, his ego was as infinite as his power. When it came to Bill, we see how much he loves belittling humans in any media we see him in, from the main show to the novels to even outside of that and in other shows and media, and when it came to Sixer, ohhhh that was his most favorite figurine to twist. He didn’t respect him as much as he found him to be his best rag doll he can enjoy tossing around. That said, he also was essentially his only way into our reality so that only kept him longer with him, longer manipulating him and his mentality, longer to break him further and further for the heck of it.

All if these were held back by a traumatized boy abused and persecuted by his small town. A reality warping traumatuzed boy dreaming of normalcy without understanding what "normal" is.
