Ichigo progressed fast bc he only got his true power during the TYBW, before that old man zangetsu was supressing his power
Also kenpachi was unconsciously nerfing himself

Bro in the manga dangai ichigo could have beat Aizen but ichigo got pissed off so he decided to use muigetzu to just obliterate aizen

I’m pretty sure if he didn’t use muigetzu, the hogyoku would keep upgrading aizen eventually overpowering ichigo
Ichigo essentially won the genetic lottery and got all the powers. He technically already has all the power from the start, it's just a matter of knowing how to utilize the abilities given to him/needing the necessary triggers to be able to access them.
Also, espadas are ranked by Reiatsu level, Starrk's Reiatsu is higher than any of them.
New bleach fans are great bc you can tell its genuine. This exactly how we felt back in the day
Few reason why they beat captains, uryu used letz stil, which is basically the powerupra rhe Quincy used in tybw, but it’s not as powerful and it takes away all his power don’t he end.
And with ichigo fighting against kenpatchi was kenpatchi subconsciously holding back and zangetsu releasing some do his powers cuz if you remember in tybw zangetsu didn’t want Ichigo to be a soul reaper so he needed him a lot.
And yoruichi isn’t actually a cat, it’s like Naruto using transformation jutsu
Bleach is my favorite show ever. But I can still acknowledge that it’s probably the most influential anime of the 2010s yet maybe just above mid. Bad pacing and clunky story.

Most Quincy's are stronger than soul reapers, that should explain why Uryu beat mayuri off-guard.
But they shouldn’t be able to just beat a captain, especially not uryu at the point in the show
@@CrackleLive Letz Stile, the awakening Ishida used in that arc, is an insane power boost, and if we're being honest Uryu outclasses Mayuri in every aspect. Only reason why mayuri could've won is because of how smart he is to adapt in battle. Mayuri without being smart is almost as bad as an average captain like Kensei, or Soi fon.

Its not that stark was weak, its just that he was 2v1ing the 2nd and 3rd strongest captains in the gotei 13 for a while and he still made the 2nd strongest captain almost use his bankai.Kyoraku(2nd strongest captain) at that point of time was probably almost as strong as vastolirde Ichigo who violated 2nd res Ulquiorra so yeah.
Think about it this way, kyoraku would whoop grimjow(6th espada) and noitora(5th espada) at the same time in a 1v2 and he probably wont even need Bankai.
