I truly feel like God put Dustin in my life specifically, because I have loved Thrice since I was about 14 years old, and I'm 29 now. They've been my favorite for almost two decades. The fact he has such strong convictions about his faith I think was done purposefully to help me with my Christianity to find someone that I admire so much has a very devout faith.

Why did I only JUST find this video!? My ears are even more blessed than when I first heard this song 2 years back. Dustin's amazing as always.
I started listening to thrice so many years ago when I was a kid. When alchemy index came out I thought to my self there is no other musician that can touch Dustin and through the years he's been outdoing himself over and over and I can't wait to see what's next. Dustin your music has done so much for me, it's helped me through rough times, and it's enlightened me at the same time. Anytime anyone asks me who my fav band/music/musician/artist is I am proud to instantly say Dustin Kensrue. Thank you for sharing your gift with the world.

A very anointed artist. I'm glad I've been a fan of yours from the start. During my lost ways I was jamming to you all back during your heavier more thrash styled times, all the way up to when I got saved a little over eight years ago. You've been there for me both in good and bad times. Even got me through some hard times throughout my walk with Christ. I am an introvert and struggle with anxiety in certain situations. Dustin is calming as hell.
There are a few artists that always resonated deeply in my nihilistic heart
I knew nothing of them personally, I just knew that they had instant and unrestrained access to an otherwise unreachable place inside of me
Eventually, I allowed myself to be found by Papa, and only then did I recognise that the words they sang were themes of scripture and truth
It was like an extra bonus to know that the stirring in me was actually caused by the Spirit doing what the Spirit does by using these artists as a conduit
how absolutely profound and affirming is it that even when you don't know its happening, someone who loves you perfectly knows your name and calls it out in all things everywhere, ya?!?

I am a huge fan of Thrice and even Dustin's solo material but I totally have to agree. Dustin is phenomenal as a soloist....just he and his guitar is a very special piece of artistry. It is sad that he, as an artist, doesn't get the recognition that is well deserved but on the other hand I truly believe that he probably wouldn't want it just because of his humbleness.

Seriously I’ve been listening to you for 20 years but this still gets me.
One thing I've been learning recently is that God often shows his love through people, whether that means surrounding yourself with those people or being that person for someone else. I, too, have introverted tendencies and this was difficult to come to terms with. The fact is that I was getting nowhere by myself.

Whenever I listen to this people ask me if im okay.(usually blasting it through speakers) Good song, Dustin's voice is amazing.
Holy Fuck! How did I miss this? I wasn't a big Thrice fan but this just shot right by me. He should just do acoustic from now on. I've heard hurricane and I love it but damn the emotions here !

Only 8,735 views.... there must be something wrong with the world. music like this from decent people like this should be more well-known.... More to my point, when i turn on the radio, what i hear is about %90 disappointment; because it's either trashy songs and/or it's that same songs that get played several times a day. There are so many songs that i used to enjoy, but radio stations have NO variety these days. There is SO MUCH that could be played, SHOULD BE played, and NEEDS TO BE played, but gets NO air time!!! I don't know what's going on with radio where i live but it's almost as bad as listening to an 8-track - once the set of songs plays out, the radio station just repeats the same songs it seems.... I can't believe the talent that comes out of this guy and out of thrice. such wonderful songs.

He's holding it in the palm side curl of his middle finger for the beginning of the song. You can slightly see the red of the pick at the 1:45 mark. He effortlessly rolled it out at the 1:56-57 mark and started playing at the chorus. True talent!!
