Hello Sir, I found your project here very interesting.Especially the part where you put a small guppie in the jar with the plant and you explain about the eco system being created. The way the sand and nitrogen from the fish poop creates the little eco system to grow better sweet potatoes is so educational. I am going to explain your idea to my daughter who has a 5 yr old son. His teacher is always looking for little interesting science projects for the kids to do and I believe this teacher will be interested in this for a future project. Thank you for sharing this. Have a great day :)

Cyndi Wood I love sweet potato leaves! In the Philippines, we boil the leaves and turn it into salad. Remove from the water, chop tomatoes and onions and mix them . You may either put fish sauce, salt or soy sauce... depending on your taste. When I’m not feeling well because I’m anemic, I’ll boil water, put fish sauce or salt, then add the sweet potato leaves. I eat with rice.

Great video I never saw it video on growing my sweet potato I had one that started rooting I put in water and it took off. It got really long I was amazed. The mistake I made was add dirt to it😭 and it withered away . I should of just let it be in water. Since then I only use water. Great video thank you✌🙏

I went out to buy an organic sweet potato 🍠 especially to grow like this after your video. I just had to do it! Lol 😆, I even was in a hurry to get it home! It’s in a large jar or water with toothpicks. I didn’t cut the bottom as a small root was already growing. One question...is it best left in sun or just a warm brightly lit spot? Ok, second question...are the fish ok to be in a small space without a filter for oxygen? Do they get bored swimming in circles? I read that fish like this need stimulation too, as they suffer depression. Thank you, love your videos. From Tasmania Australia 🇦🇺😊

Once you add a fish, do you still change the water every couple days? How do you do that? Do you have to catch the fish? Can you just siphon out most of the water with a turkey baster?
I watched your video in hopes of learning if the sweet potatoes in jars need fertilizer. (It seems they should.) Can you use the same fertilizer used for aquarium plants? But those plants get a LOT of poop! Do you need additional fertilizer for other nutrients? - They grow such huge vines & so many leaves, it doesn't seem like plain water would be enough.
