- Time to give this old beat up Dodge Mirada Stocker a new lease on life. This casting was released in 1982, and looks like it has been played with very well.

The decals are from Ebay and the seller in rwneff1
Awesome to see a new build. Can't miss with the King! The 43 looks great on that Dodge.
Thank you
Awesome work again! Nice paintjob with cool decals! It's a beauty. 👍🔥
Thank you!!
Frikken amazing turnout. It looks incredible now. Well done on another truly great resto and love the history lesson that went with it.
Thank you!!
Good Job!!! The car looks really good!!! Would be great to see it at the ADRC!!! I'm sure axle tubes will git easier in time!!!
Thanks for sharing!!
Y'all Stay Safe!!!
Thank you. Lol, I'll have to get better at cutting those wheels out and figuring out axel tubes before I send one of these into the ADRC. But, who knows, maybe someday.
@@Nero62CustomDiecast 👍
watching and watching and watching,.. holy crap is that gorgeous.. Very entertaining, the wheels really set off the car with that paintjob and decals. Just awesome.
Lol, thank you!! I appreciate the support.
Damn that is one beautiful looking stock car. Glad to see you making the Nascar builds again. Excellent, excellent job. Thanks for sharing another great video, take care and stay safe my friend.
Thank you!!
I really enjoyed this video and certainly your custom. Thank you for the 43 theme stocker. I took the liberty to share this on two closed groups “Real Petty Blue Fans” and “Studio 43 By Petty”. In at least the first group, some of the Petty family and close friends of the family are members and it is liked on your custom Petty stocker. I thought you would want to know. God bless you and thanks. ☝🏼👍🏼🏁
Oh Awesome!! Thank you for sharing the video. I'm a huge Petty fan so that means a lot to me. Thank you again. I definitely appreciate the support.
Nero 62 Custom Diecast no problem at all, very glad to share your custom to the Petty family, friends and groups. 🏁
Awesome looking Dodge Mirada Stocker! You did a great job on the customization! Looks like that car has seen TONS of action at tracks like Daytona, Darlington, Bristol, Talladega, and many other oval tracks! If I remember correctly, the era of this Dodge Mirada Stocker matches that of Generation 3 NASCAR (1980-1991). While I don't have a Dodge Mirada Stocker in my collection, I do have a Hot Wheels Chevy Stocker, which is essentially the NASCAR version of the 1986 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS Aerocoupe. Mine is colored purple and is from the 1999 Criss Cross Crash series. This casting really should be returned to production! But now that the customization is complete, she's ready to return to the tracks!
Great to see another of your videos!
This one came out really great!
Beaut blue, and great decal work and wheels!
Cheers!
Thank you!!
Dude, that is f ING sick!!!! Great job!! Glad you are back brother!
Thanks Rhyno, I had a really good time making this one.. Not sure I can make one that would be competative in the ADRC, but it's a very nice casting to work with.
3D Botmaker brought me here! Subscribed. Do you have any videos showing how to replace/swap out bad wheels and axles? Keep up the awesome work!
Very cool! That color just pops!
Thank you!! Yeah I really like that Dupli-color paint.
This is one of my favorite castings. I can't wait to do my own custom take on it. Great work!
Thank you!
You do nice work. I would like to get into diecast customization and appreciate all you share. Curious about decals. Do you design and print your own? Do you use water-slide decals or something else? Do you seal the decals with something after they are on? I would love to see a video dedicated to the decal process.
Thank you. I get most of my decals off of Ebay. But I think that is a great idea for a video.
Huge difference between the new and old versions, very well done Nero!
Thank you!! I think it turned out pretty good.
@@Nero62CustomDiecast It did indeed. Sent you an email btw when you get the chance.
@@Jacensbattlegrounds cool, I'll take a look
A great video! Those decals look amazing on the Mirada!
Thank you!! Yeah I wasn't sure they were going to work with this casting, but they turned out really nice.
That looks phenomenal man. Awesome work
Thank you
Absolutely awesome as always. So glad that you are making videos again.
Thank you!! Yeah I can't make them at the rate I was making them, but I'm going to try to get one out atleast once a month.
Great outcome! Love the wheels!
Thank you
Wow, it's a very good looking model
Thank you
Wow I’m glad I found your channel. I’ve been modeling cars for the board games Gaslands, always trying to make them look as ugly as possible. It’s great to see somebody doing the opposite. I’m inspired to try and restore a few of my own cars, now.
Awesome!! Welcome to my channel. I appreciate the support.
Just a beautiful result.
Thank you! Cheers!
Wow amazing came here because of 3Dbotmaker racing inspired love how this looks
Nicely done Nero!
Thank you!!
Looks dope. Great job
Thank you!
There’s a better way to do tubes and have them secured for racing too. The car looks great and I love the wheel choice
Thanks!! Yeah, I'm sure there is, this was the 5th set of wheels I put on this thing, and I just needed to get it done quick and dirty. This thing will prob just sit on a shelf, but I can see how they might be useful for racing.
Looks amazing!
Thank you!!
Great job man. Keep it up!!
Thank you
Nice looking car! I have a 81 Thunderbird like this Dodge I would love to make look like Kyle Petty's seven eleven car but don't have the skills right now new to customizing.
Oh sweet, keep at it. It's all trial and error. I still have a lot to learn.. even if you screw up, just strip the paint and start over. I messed this one up twice before I got it the way I wanted it.
That car looks amazing.👍
I see a couple other beater Mirada’s in the shop. Any plans to pimp those out?😁🏁
Thank you!!! Lol good eye, yeah I'll eventually be fixing those other Miranda's up.
Another wicked looking ride gr8 job mate cheers KC Tasmania Australia
I'd like to buy the car be cool
Have you tried using a burr tool to get the axles out of metal bases? I almost always manage to save the axles. Just finished a Mirada Stocker, yours looks great!
Nope, but I'll give it a shot in the next one.
Cool ! Good job
Thanks!
Nice! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I love this car 😍
Thank you!
I loved the AMC Greased Gremlin. I would like to see ya do that one for me. Please reply if you’d be interested. I have 2 of them from my youth that I’ve kept and would love to at least reborn.
I that's great idea!! I really like that casting.
Still a great build!
Do you ever see them anywhere? The real ones? Are they a collector's piece, or confined to history and diecast? Cheers
I haven't seen any of them in the wild.. although occasionally you can find a few on ebay for sale.
@@Nero62CustomDiecast Cheers
You can also use Flitz on nickel platted axels...highly recommend
That was going to be the next thing I use it on.. lol
@@Nero62CustomDiecast oh yeah...got to be careful what you polish nickel platted axels with...Flitz
@@TheLadyandTheLeague definatly.. I have found that out the hard way..lol
What a transformation mate👍
Wow, that's a very, very good job. Which car did you take the rims from?
Thank you!! I took them off of a Hot Wheels Classics 1967 Camaro Convertible.
Thank you!
I like it looks like a street stock. You do more dirt cars
Before I settled on these wheels I had some wheels on there that made it look like a dirt track car. Maybe I'll dona dirt track one in the future.
@@Nero62CustomDiecast I hope so
Awesome end result :)
Thank you!

Lol, just finished up my second one. I need to test them and then hopefully get them in the mail next week.

@@TheLadyandTheLeague will do. Check out my Intagram page, I just posted what will prob be one of the chargers I send u.
Nero, I am getting into doing custom diecast, and I came to your channel via 3D Bot Maker and Hotwheels Calgary. Anyways, You stated you use a #2-56 screw self-tap. What length should I get 1/8th inch or 3/16th inch? Thanks for these amazing videos.
Thats fantastic!! its a fun hobby with a great community. The ones I use are 2-56 x 3/16" they work really well for me. You can find them on Amazon for fairly cheap.
@@Nero62CustomDiecast thanks Nero.
cool dude
you got a new sub bro
Thank you!!
How much do you charge? I definitely want a car done one day soon!
I have gotten away from doing commissions. It just never seems to work out right. It usually ends up with me not getting paid..lol.. If you see one of the cars I make and you think you want to buy it let me know and we might be able to work something out
I have an idea for a custom for my personal die cast collection but I haven't a clue how to start and no skill level at all. Do you take special requests?
I don't do commissions anymore, but If you have an idea and I think I can make it I might give it a shot.
I want to get a Mirada so bad in HW form. Good looking car so off pace though
They are pretty cool, but yeah they didn't turn out to be very good race cars.
Hey Nero, what is the name of the color blue that you used for the interior of your Juicey Fruit Nascar? Please, I am building one just like yours.
Oh man, that was a while ago.. I dont remember. If I still have the can laying around I'll let you know.
@@Nero62CustomDiecast okay, thank you. Much appreciated.
I have that same car
Awesome!! Its a very cool casting
Where do you get the logos?
Ebay... seller is rwneff1
Hi bumble bee custom
Hi. A new subscriber. I used to customize the “Racing Champions “ brand of 1/64 scale cars into some of the late model cars I used to watch in the T.I.D.A. Late model series in Central Texas. I used to use nail polish remover to strip paint from the cars. I’m wondering if you have tried it. I would love to exchange email addresses if that’s ok with you sir.
Awesome. Nope I haven't used nail polish remover yet. I really like using the citrustrip.. but I'll give the nail polish remover a shot.
Hey Nero62 i know this is off topic but still :
Can you put me on one of your cars in sub4ra NASCAR ADRC as The M ??? Plss😢😢😢
Well unfortinatly all my drivers in the ADRC are all under contract for the next two years... If I make a satalite team maybe you can drive for that team.
But do I have to pay anything ? I'm just a 14 year old Indian diecast fan
Okay thanks
surve nope
Okay thanks love the change of that stocker
Looks awesome!
Thank you
@@Nero62CustomDiecast You're welcome dude. And those stock cars you did for 3D look stunning too
