The Spring of 2020 and the Amabile Choir rehearsals were brought to an abrupt halt due to the Corona Virus pandemic. Rehearsals were subsequently held using Zoom so the girls recorded solo videos to put together this virtual choir performance of Hushabye Mountain - one of their favourite pieces to sing together.

Brought out the fountain in me once again. Some backstory... the highlight of my career was having the distinct honor to have worked with Dick Van Dyke years ago. He is the last of a very distinct era of multi talented artists. And this song was one that I think he completely owned. It’s also a song that my daughter loved. I couldn’t sing it and give it its proper due. But a simple recording of it used to help drift my daughter off across lullaby bay. Your rendition left me in a flood of tears. I only wish my daughter could hear how beautifully you all have interpreted the song while still maintaining its originized feel. 20 years ago my daughter drifted off to husbabye mountain at just over the age of three years old. We used to play it to her in the hospital when she was fighting cancer. I’d like to hope that today she could still hear the echoes of that song, with possibly the more angelic voices you all have added too it. Thank you.
OMB!!! This is like hearing angels sing. Next to Feed the Birds, this is the most divine melody the Sherman Bros. ever created and this rendition is as divine as anything ever heard. Thanks is hardly worthy of this glorious effort. But thanks, thanks, and thanks again.

I notice the date this was published. It was 2 weeks before my son died solo climbing a mountain. I've recently been exploring many different versions of Hushabye Mountain as the lyrics and music resonate deeply. This version is my favourite so far... thank you to all involved. 🙏 x
Your comment just made me cry. My daughter loves to have Hushabye mountain played at bedtime. If God forbid anything happened to her, this would have to be the song played, though I probably would never be able to listen to it again. I can't listen to Andre Bocelli's Time To Say Goodnight after playing it at my dad's funeral.

Just the mics on their devices - some were phones, some laptops so a real variety.
