Ha! You bought the exact same belts as me and found the same belt to be the most suitable! Shows how good we are that we're doing the exact same diagnosis and checks! My video will go live in a couple of weeks time on the Grundig.
I had a very similar experience on a Panasonic AG-7500 on an audio IC on one of the boards. No HiFi sound. Tracked it down to a tiny fuseable resistor in the supply rail that had just gone open circuit. Replaced it and never had a problem again so unsure why it failed to begin with. Maybe under spec'd for the job from new.
Concerning the video heads on the Technicolor 335 Video Showcase model (with the built in monitor), take a piece of paper soaked with 99% isopropyl alcohol and hold the piece of paper against the video head drum and rotate head drum with your other hand. Should clean the heads safely without risking damage to the head chips.
Well the community page gives no stand alone comments, only from your boxed selections. Well done getting the technicolour beast working 😀 Ooow check that choke, they fail o.c.
I'd try bridging the missing voltage during operation using low mA range on my multimeter and if excessive remove probes quickly, rather than bridge the traces with a jumper
Rt0h2257 WIEDERGABE is the correct spelling for "Playback". I couldn't see any European Parts in the Video, so I don't think it's really GRUNDIG. Addendum: Made for (not by) GRUNDIG in JAPAN is written on the Bottom. I would have checked the self-recording first as I haven't read anything good about the compatibility of FUNAI /Technicolor with GRUNDIG. Addendum: If both Devices are OK, they are also compatible, which is no Wonder if both were built by FUNAI. Grundig was probably the last CVC market participant, and therefore received the last CVC attempt from FUNAI.
That's really worth knowing and I'll be testing this too. I do wonder what the Grundig machine actually is - it looks like it's a Japanese machine but not Funai based although maybe it was made in Europe to a 'recipe' maybe.
Nice fix on the Technicolor. YAY. Oooh, cliff-hanger. LOL. I have a question I hope you can answer, I have a VHS JVC HR-7650 EA VCR, the sensor bulb has blown and I can't find any information about the replacement type. Do you happen to know what voltage and wattage it is ? Any information would be a great help. Thank you.
My German isn't great, but at least I try. I worked in Austria for a while. What do you call a person who speaks two languages? Bilingual. What do you call a person who speaks one language? English!

I had a fusible resistor go high value in a Sony PCM-701ES digital decoder, just the same, no reason for it.

Poll was a bit late going up, we had a small emergency. The chokes are all good.

Do you know the dimensions of the square belts in the Technicolor machine?
I didn't measure them, sorry.
The "Wied" of "Wiedergabe" is actually proncounced lke the English word "weed".
