In my CBF600 PC38 this is a wrong connection. Today I took the closer look after almost a year driving with green wire connected to third yellow - it worked but strange, I had to turn on engine before the counting from 1 to 6 ended. Calibration needed about 7-8k revs on each gear.
I found a service manual with wiring diagram and I found that I need to twist green wire with second yellow wire which is a tachometer (third is a coil wire) and then calibrate it during a ride and switch gears with about 4k revs. Now it is working perfectly.

@@thomaskerker1065Yes, exactly that one - first next to the black wire, third pin on the top counting from right side

@@miklusevci Hmm, strange...Mine also PC38, but when I connect like you did I cant calibrate the indicator. Just start flashing "L" faster than disconnected...

@dainius Vyniautas when it starts flashing L after rev rhe the engine half way and hold for couple seconds until number 1 starts flashing rev hold way and put in first gear and repeat process until 6th

I put a video on how to calibrate, you have to do it, otherwise it won't work
