Borderlands psycho attacking you "GIVE ME 10,00 NAILS, I'LL SHOW YOU A HAMMER"
Lol, very Fallout like.
@@AttilaThebung thats a pretty cool line for an unarmed brawler if you tweak it a bit; "SHOW ME 10,000 NAILS AND I'LL SHOW YOU A HAMMER!"
I'm stealing that for my... book? Manga? Something. I haven't decided what it will be yet.
It'll be about a dude that knows a little bit of kickboxing and drove a big rig truck until one day he, a train driver(female), and an airline pilot(female) flying a jumbo jet all almost crash into a young wizard(male) that interdimensionally teleported into the exact wrong place at the exact wrong time. They all get teleported back to the wizard's universe, where the crash finally takes place. The wizard using magic manages to protects the train driver and pilot, but the truck driver's body is completely wrecked. So the wizard gets a gnomish artificer (female) to use the remains of the truck to turn the truck driver into a living set of armor. Its later revealed that the wizard was a noble that used the last of his inheritance to buy a magical object that would send him to the other universe and was destroyed in the crash, the existence of which he was told by his grandfather, where he planned to get a bunch of technology and high grade optical equipment to take back to his universe and make even more money. So now, the train driver; who can now manifest two small "spirit trains", the pilot; who eventually finds a tiny dragon, the truck driver; that can now channel ki into his fists, the wizard; now completely broke and owing the first three a lot of favors but still having "connections", and the artificer who is tagging along because the wizard now owes her a lot of money, all have to make a lot of money so that they can get another interdimensional teleporter and go home.
I'm currently writing a different book so this one and few others I've had to set on the back burner for now, but I've still got about 60 years left to write them all. :P

To Alec: As my wedding was last month, let me share a few words of wisdom given to us from those married for 50+ years. "Listen to each others needs, & patience when mistakes are made." Good luck on the planning aspects of your wedding day. Let me throw in some personal advice. The weddings of the modern day are crazy expensive for needless reasons. You can make a wedding work well without a wedding planner. We did and it was fantastic. Both of you working together on seeking out your needs then wants for the wedding is a very rewarding experience. I hope you both have a great adventure together. Also a great idea I had for mine but could not do it, but I know you can.
There is a type of ceremony you can do during the wedding called the Sand Ceremony. You can do this with iron sand After you mix the sands together bring it home and make ether some bloomsteel, or canister Damascus, as a decoration or make a kitchen knife out of it or whatever. Just have fun with it together!
Also apparently I’ve heard for getting things like food don’t say it’s for a wedding just say an event because so places jack up the prices

Making a nail from a nail using a hammer made from nails
nail-ception
Get a bunch of nails, turn it into little chunks, and make them into nails.
This sounds a little like Tropic Thunder to me. You need RDJ to say that line.
Or buy a cheap hammer and make it into nails using the nail hammer, then it would be a hammer hammered into nails, by a hammer made from nails with the use of a hammer and power hammer
Damn; beat me to it
Now when someone in the shop says they nailed in a nail....instead of hammered in a nail.....it won't be improper English lol

@@verrtex7837 Not technically true, what we consider an American accent (a northern american accent specifically) is actually the ORIGINAL English accent. Brits deliberately changed their accent to sound more posh several hundred years ago, as well as their spelling. Modern day American English is THE original modern english (modern as in not Olde English) in both spelling and pronunciation :-)

ok first of all great job as always you are who got me started in heating and beating metal in my shed second : STOP ! YOU CANT CARRY PROPANE TANKS HORIZONTALLY ! THAT'S A LARGE FINE IF A COP FINDS THAT.
Why? Liquid gas cold+valve=bad? Or something?
Yolo
@@bjrn-oskarrnning2740 I think its because IF something fails, it will be the valve. & you don't want a valve at over terminal velocity through the window / jets of flame going up do less damage than jets of flame going into the neighbor's house/car/face. Various things like that & more.
As long as they are not store and are secure from movement/ things moving into them they are fine. 20gal tanks are close to 5 ft tall and transporting in any residential vehicle would be unsafe because of the inability to secure it at the top . You dont want one of those tipping over...
@Jon Goat Thanks for the clarification!
Alec, you did a crazy phenomenal thing :) i've seen some craftsmen filling up empty gaps between nails with a steel powder. You may also try to do it, it almost guarantees solid piece of steel. But i consider this as not true "nail solidifying". I bet you did the true one, without of steel powder help :)
They absolutely NAILED it
XDD
Finally some forging like the early days of Alec Steele... getting a bit nostalgic
DANGER! DANGER WILL ........ Stelter(and Alec). PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DON'T SAND WOOD AND GRIND METAL IN THE SAME ENCLOSED SPACE!!! (12:32)
The video looks neat, dreamy and artsy-fartsy but you are putting yourselves in grave danger if you are doing it at the same time!. It is called a dust explosion and can be deadly.
A dust explosion takes 5 things: 1. Combustible dust (Wood dust from sanding), 2. The dust suspended in air (foggy picture shows that is happening), 3. Oxygen (you are all breathing), 4. A confined area (grinding room with the door shut), 5. Ignition source (Grinding steel in the same enclosed space with beautiful sparks).
I'm not going to put links in here, just going to suggest that one googles "dust explosions". It should scare the crap out of you, it does me.
I really hope that the video was intercut in editing. It appears that both grinding on the hammers and sanding the handles were taking place at the same time. If they were done at separate times, you still have to be aware of residual dust that settles on walls and horizontal surfaces that can be disturbed and become suspended.
I work at a MakerSpace in Akron OH and we have redesigned our workspace to separate the woodshop from the metal shop to prevent just such dangers. We also are adding ambient dust collectors (pulls dust out of the air) as well as dust collection on all of our machines that produce dust, i.e., all of our machines in the woodshop (14 and growing).
Keep up the wonderful work but be safe.
Ventilation and cleanup?
Happened at my school's old wood shop. Blew the windows out. Luckily no one was inside when it happened.
yeah, i use to make dust bombs. Saw a bunch of wood .. sweep it up in a pile.. start a campfire... throw dust on the campfire. Incredible.
I was thinking the same, that room needs a serious dust collection system worked out. Great content though.
am i the only one who has guiltily thought for few second "that could make a very cinematic sequence" when reading this comment ?
