If the rest of her career she only did concerts, recordings, etc. after quarantine...I’d be forever HAPPY! You can tell how rested she is by the youthfulness that comes back in her voice. Granted, it is early, and she’s playing to her strengths at this point

Those lyrics mirror almost perfectly what she says when she talks about her sister, being exposed to seeing her doing drugs and prostitution etc... she always says that she saw more than she should have and made her grow up sooner than she would have without seeing all that. I guess we can absolutely take it as a fact that all of those things affected her on a level that is almost inexplicable... but that said, she certainly gets more than the gist of her pain about it all across...THIRTY YEARS still singing!!!! That’s a true artist, with a catalogue and body of work that will basically live forever!! What an incredible achievement!! 🥰🌟🧡

However the live performance you racted to she used a more round and fuller tone, almost belt, but originally the song was recorded in falsetto like she did here but the whistle was added for this performance. It's one of he rmost personal songs and we understand it better until today.
