It is really special and makes me glad that something like the Cryo Chamber label exists. Some of the very best dark ambient that exists on the Internet, all together, trembling and potent in its atmosphere and emotion. It still baffles me why so few people listen to these wonderful pieces.
Don't forget Horror Music World. ;) Both upload this type of music. But if you want to be on the scarier side, then go to HMW. Indeed, this music needs more attention from other folks out there because of the talented artists, and I believe that people should really dig in and appreciate this music.
Melodifying Skies that's what Im saying people don't wanna appreciate this style because ppl don't wanna get into new things but dark music like this needs 2 be more popular
For me, there is no sadness. For me, there is no happiness. For me, there is no anger. For me, there is no grief. For there is only peace, and music like this, only amplifies it.
where i live, no one likes this kind of music, they considered it.... boring, meaningless. but i dont think that is boring maybe because i'm depressive the whole time... i love it it gets me in a peaceful mood
Hairo Marquez you don't have to be depressed to like such beautiful pieces like this. I'm a very upbeat person and I like this lol. I'm sad to hear about your depression :/
When I started listening to this kind of stuff it was still in the hey day era of metal bands like Metallica Slayer Testament Sepultura and the like and that's the stuff all my friends were still listening to. When I started putting this kind of stuff on and playing it all the time they were like what's wrong with you? Lol. But I was already an avid reader of epic fantasy and I loved relaxing to mellow ambient music and reading. It just put me in such a relaxed contemplative frame of mind. I kept trying to show my friends how great it is but they didn't get it. Oh well, too bad for them.
I completely get it. My family, as much as I love them, are very much concrete thinkers. I am as well, but I also tend to favor the abstract, allegorical side of things, and whenever I bring up things that I like or think in that manner they tend to be confusing or dismissive. I've found people who do think the way I do now, and I'm grateful, but having that attitude come from some of the people you care most about hurts deeply.
i must say that most videos on this channel actually help me to cope. i suffer severe PTSD, have strong tinitus and i live in a very distressing environment and situation, and most of the mixes actually give me relief, at least for 1 hour or so. it's a very good balance of sounds / atmosphere / actual melodies and partially music, but never too much and no voices and lyrics at all. it let's me feel my depression without suffering from it, thank you for that.
Amazing how a mix of various frequencies can be described as sad, happy, bright, dark, etc. We truly have a universal connection to this phenomenon called "music." When i want to feel energized, I listen to metal. When I meditate, it's binaural beats. When reading, it's classical. But this? This is just simply beautiful!
+Jess Q. I agree. And it's kind of (at least for now) like our little secret. Such a small community on these pages all coming together to enjoy something pretty special. This is by far the best mood-setting music ever. I have pretty much purchased every album by all the artists featured on this channel to date and listen to this stuff on my commute to work every morning and back. Great way to spend an hour of driving.
Im a developer at my job and I cannot tell you how many times Ive put my headphones and listened to cryo chamber, especially this exact video. It takes me far away and keeps me focused on just my work. Love love love it.
This is the first Dark Piano Mix that I'm listening to; to be honest, this music has so much to it, so much character, it invokes emotions that you would generally wouldn't perceive much, it is dark, at the same time it let's out that candle in the darkness, igniting a small light of hope, giving out a calm. It tells you tales in that environment when you close your eyes, with a gentle hand on a forehead, and you're simply drawn towards it, but not in a bad way. The music is intense, deep, dark and so peaceful at the same time. One of the Best Music I've ever heard. Period.
The intro and 2nd song is what lulls me off to sleep every night, but it's been hard to find a mix from Cryo Chamber or maybe I didn't look hard enough on the playlists. But does anyone have music from or similar to this channel? This specific mix has been putting me at peace for years now. Ty so very much for all the beauty you create and share.
I listen a lot to playlists like "Dark Underwater ambient" or "Dark jazz/city ambient." There are also some other Dark piano ambient playlists on Cryochamber as well. There is a lot to choose from, so it can be a little hard to find something you really like. But I am the same way, I have listened to this video for years and I fall asleep to music like this every night. There is nothing else like it
Im a full time student and a part time worker. I normally have a very busy schedule with internships and other student association activities but in my free time in am aspiring author. I have been slowly working for about three years on a my own novel. It is a melodramatic queer gothic story set in renaissance Italy. I just want to thank you cause this playlist has been on repeat through all this time. This playlist alone helped me write the first half of the book. So just thank you!
This music is great, regardless of your life story, your mental health, whether your friends like this music or hate it, whether you're all alone in the world or surrounded by people you think "don't understand". It's just good, atmospheric music. Everything else is what you're bringing to it.
Very well spoken. Dark does not mean evil or sad all the time. Some of us find comfort, peace, and happiness where others find terror and fear for no other reason than fear of something unknown and different by subjective standards. Let the thunderstorms never cease in my paradise...
I still remember how that mix helped me in one tough period of my life.I was crying day after day until I realized I was completely alone....without her....without her [AnyMor3~]
These have always been some of my favorite Cryo Chamber songs-they remind me intensely of the music in Resident Evil save rooms. Safe and sound for the moment, but still resigned to an inevitable fate.
I wrote a book a few years ago and had this mix on loop the whole time I was working. I listened to nothing but this mix for three months straight. The title of my book is "Walking America: A 10,000 Mile Journey of Self-Healing." Thanks for the mix! It helped to keep me focused!
I listened to this while I was writing my book "10,000 Mile Trek." It was published a year ago, but I still find myself coming back to your productions whenever I need to work from a computer. Thank you for sharing your work! I am a composer and producer, too, but my music isn't the best at helping people focus.
Sometimes I feel the need to retreat from everything and everyone, including myself. I just want to disappear into a distant world where I don't exist, where nothing familiar exists, a world so remote and darkly enchanting as to make me forget that I ever knew anything else but this strange new eternity deep within my mind. Sometimes I feel so exhausted that I just want to sleep, and dream, and not wake up for a hundred years while everything I know passes into obscurity. Most days I feel fine, but after a while things pile up, and trying to stay strong takes its toll, and I just need to get away and be someone/somewhere else for a while. This music takes me there.
Your comment reminds me on one of my favourite movies... Do you know the movie "Angel's Egg"? I recommend seeing it. Dont watch a trailer or look up its meaning just watch it. It is an anime from 1985 and has barely any conversation in it. No character tropes, no drama, nothing of that crap. Beautiful artstyle and a soundtrack so beautiful i cant even describe it. You can easily find it on YT and watch it for free! This movie really is something else...
I just found this one. I think if I had to choose only one Cryo Chamber track to ever listen to this would be the one I would choose. It's like everything I love about Cryo Chamber mixed into one track. Thank you.
This is truly astonishing! Most of the stuff you guys post is of remarkable quality, but whenever something more classical pops out, like an instrumental ambient mix, it literally feels to me like a musical feast. (I don't mean to say I do not enjoy the usual creepy apocalypse noise, but violins and cellos really do turn on some ulterior romantic drama dreamer inside of me).
I just instantly clicked the like button and didn't regretted at all, dark vibes give me the most powerful energy I could ever get, some else out there??
I really enjoy the calming effect it produces. I also find that it helps me focus when I work on my illustrations. It seems to empty my mind of all the rampant useless thoughts, especially thoughts associated with the constant demands of other people. Sometimes I just want to be left alone, sitting in stillness with my own thoughts.
This music gives me vibes of so many things. The whole video is so moving that I can interpret it as sad or relaxing. But on a lighter note thank you to the creators of this, your music helped me finish my GCSE painting Xxx
Im studying on this, it feels like I'm peacefully walking in my mind, picking up the right information here and there to solve whatever I have to solve.
This is art! The euphoria i get from listening to it over and over again feels so mysterious and satisfying to me... Like taking a glimpse to something far away but somehow familiar... It really inspires me in so many ways! THANK YOU!!! Definitley equals Akira Yamaoka's work!
Im just listening to this in my bed with the lights off and with eyes never blinking but it's a really amazing experience. It's so beautiful. Relaxing. Dark. Scary. Al at the same time
Bloody brilliant! You guys and gals do an amazing job, and I am so pleased my earholes have access to such a wonderful genre of music. Keep up the good work, chaps!
Thanks atrium carceri for existance and for your amazing music! it s been 8 years me listening to Atrium carceri over and over again and just recently i found this incredable channel Cryo Chamber! this is the music of my soul! dark and slow

Well thanks Cyro Chamber !!!
Absolutely love it! This and your Dark Gothic mix helped me with my Gothic literature piece I had to write for an assignment. Will definitely be back if I need inspiration, or just because its amazing.
I'm so happy I found this channel. Their music is incredibly relaxing, and has variance that app bought ambient noise just doesn't offer. Keeping the mind and soul inthralled so as to drift in a calm sea. Woah. Went a little to far there.
immersion. desperate nights call for this to quell the mind into a state of quiet isolation, emptiness cradling a broken body and spirit into a little death, the vapid serenity of sleep... an equally beautiful and ruinous account of shattered spirit.
Gorgeous selection again, thank you Cryo! I even found some of my favorites (Flowers, Atrium Carceri ) in here. This playlist is going to run in a loop on my end :)
Haunting !! i like how this one is more balance and has more melody and light, than some of the other CRYOCHAMBER stuff. The other CRYOCHAMBER stuff has too much dark stuff, like entire albums is all super dark, and i guess is fine, but i like albums that are more balance within the dark and the light

Do you know jonnie13black already? His channel is such a goldmine for me!
ye his stuff is superb also. Blossoming multilayered audio vortex is best way i can describe his work hehe
Ian Quinlan a lack of publicity probably, I've never even heard of this until it popped into my recommendations
Don't forget Horror Music World. ;) Both upload this type of music. But if you want to be on the scarier side, then go to HMW.

Flowers For Bodysnatchers has been a wonderful addition to the CryoChamber family. Everything he (Duncan Ritchie) does is terrific.
Many thanks for the support mate!

The intro is just insane, so much emotion.
heard it for the first time in the game "The Old City: Leviathan" (main menu music) some years ago. it stuck to me since then
This channel is so amazing. No matter what gets posted I enjoy it.
+Jess Q. No human will ever be able do describe how wonderful "???" this channel is. There is no word for this here.

10:52 those sincere, weeping piano notes hit me so hard in it’s contrast to the dreading ambience & noise behind it, it makes me wanna cry...
that kind of music sounds like we are floating in the empty space, without issues.....its a great piece of gold....
Im a developer at my job and I cannot tell you how many times Ive put my headphones and listened to cryo chamber, especially this exact video. It takes me far away and keeps me focused on just my work. Love love love it.
Cryochamber, thank you for existing!
This sounds like something that would play on a loop as I am at peace in my mind palace.

That Flowers for Bodysnatchers track is in all likelihood the greatest Neoclassical track ever produced.

@@matt304 IT REALLY is beautiful, this and the "Save Rooms Mix" is wonderful as well. I'll take a look at what you suggested thank you!
@@bushkab6088 "Save Rooms mix" is another great one! I Hope you like the other playlists too.
@@matt304 The Dark Underwater Ambient so far is pulling into 3rd place lol. Thank you again!
@@matt304 OH im sure you've heard or seen the movie but look up the playlist to "Her" with Joaquin Phoenix you may enjoy that as well.

This kind of music just makes my anxiety and depression to disappear for a little while, thank you for this little moment of peace.
Dreamy and pleasant Dark ambient music. It's the kind of music to kick-start your mind to go to your paradise and hopefully - never wake up.
So true
Very well spoken. Dark does not mean evil or sad all the time. Some of us find comfort, peace, and happiness where others find terror and fear for no other reason than fear of something unknown and different by subjective standards. Let the thunderstorms never cease in my paradise...

☺
I use to just chill in those save rooms just to listen
Love how the third song changes around 11 mins.
Minute 11:00 makes me cry, I can't explain why, it is an odd feeling so nostalgic and also warm.
I'm in love with this mix

I think I've listened to this album/video more than any other collection of music in my life. I'll probably have it playing on my deathbed.
This is the ultimate Deathbed soundtrack, the slow devourment by the insects of the decay...
I can agree
Was there any known funeral where such music were played based on deceased wish ? Genuinely asking here
Even after 5 years I still come back and it's always just as beautiful
I don't know how I ran across dark ambient, but I'm glad I did
i love zoning out and letting it take me wherever it wants me to go.
Ridiculously too beautiful to even describe
My heart feels at home
What a gift...
This is so perfect for studying. It's not distracting and it keeps me focused. Ty :)
I remembered this this evening. I was desperately searching for this just now. Thought I wouldn't find it. Home at last; I can sleep in happiness.
Im studying on this, it feels like I'm peacefully walking in my mind, picking up the right information here and there to solve whatever I have to solve.
Of all the Cryo Chamber mixes this is by far the greatest!

Blasted this over at the beach side in the middle of the night.

This is just outstanding music. I have been listening to it all day long. Pure genius. Thank you for creating this and sharing it with me.
The best of the best Cryo Chamber
I workout to this and it gives me the most intense focus in the gym giving me the feeling like I'm the only one there
The desolation, solitude of Dark Souls. beautiful music.

creation is the highest form of awareneas
What you're saying sounds very well thought out and true. Though is my judgment genuine? Is yours? Fuck if anyone knows.
tobyinnepal very insightful, I quite like this quote :)
Awareneas, what's that? Do you mean awareness? Then yes, I agree.
Then making typos should be the lowest form of awareness ;)
so is destruction :)
This is where it is at. Damn this is so goddamn inspirational.
This is my favourite mix to do assignments to. I always end up so much more productive for some reason.
I've always hated history, but having this in the background made it bearable. Thank you!
“Will you take the ink ribbon?”
>[Yes] [No]
Nice to see there is someone like me who loves darkness but in the presence of light (hope)
music can open doors in your mind. I love this music with headphones running in my local cemetery what a stress release💮
That Old City intro music is awesome.
an hour or so long mix/stretch of the first track would be awesome.
Opening track gets me every time, like I'm about to play some awesome immersive creepy horror game like Silent Hill or Fatal Frame
40 secs in and already find it heavenly
sadly when i die i likely wont go to any kind of heaven in the off chance that one exists...
This is something I always secretly hoped you would do. Thank you!
10:50 is where it gets really good.
I dreamt music
Sooo saddd
Sounds like silent hill
It's the best part of that song. I wish the entirety of it was like that.
The beginning of the Intro (0:05) and (10:50) are nice homages to Vangelis’ “Memories of Green” from the movie Bladerunner: ua-cam.com/video/6uXnXEdXGJY/v-deo.html
Dude in some songs i feel my heart bouncing, im not kidding my heart sounds and feel really calm and these keeps me in a state of peaceful mind, i can now start to think clearly for every problem in my life (nope, im not lonely, im not in a depression, i just feel really deep in mind with these) sorry for bad englis though.....
Well thanks Cyro Chamber !!!
Zeun don't try to think about ur problem again ! just listen to this and forget about them forever !
I love this music... so deep and make a dimentional scene different... thank you. Piano is very strong for me.
This mix and rain sound so magically
This is one of my fave-faves. The piano piece is especially wonderful. My writing life would not be as rich were it not for Atrium Carceri!
I was looking for this for a long time. Thank you, Cryo Chamber!
Absolutely love it! This and your Dark Gothic mix helped me with my Gothic literature piece I had to write for an assignment. Will definitely be back if I need inspiration, or just because its amazing.
This is a beautiful emotional music mix of piano music.
I'm really enjoying this it gives that reflective feels for me, where I just want to examine the insides of me.
More pieces like the last one pls!!! Perfect for a rainy day drive home from work and your feeling lonely. . .
Melkor Arhostis perfect match. when i listen this i feel relaxed. Like serial killer after couple victims. Peacefulness
Mkay
So no one is going to mention the last comment? Like, how relatable it is? Because that nearly perfectly describes my mood right now...
I would like the first track to be longer. It's so melancholic... like I missed something or someone I don't even know... Yet.
"I've seen things you people wouldn't believe...".
Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion...
I've Watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser Gate..
All those moments will be lost in time...
like tears...in...rain.
Well done everyone.
This is my all time 100% favorite most listened to composition from Cryo Chamber
Very Nice , all of The Tracks. Best Playlist i have heared so far!
I'm so happy I found this channel. Their music is incredibly relaxing, and has variance that app bought ambient noise just doesn't offer. Keeping the mind and soul inthralled so as to drift in a calm sea. Woah. Went a little to far there.
Beautiful music, glad I found this channel :) A lot of your music will help me greatly with Soul Travel and Meditation. Thank you.
Who's listening this to do homework like me ? LOL !!!
love this
Justin Grey me🙌
Justin Grey Me! ^^
Justin Grey me too, it actually helps a lot
I listen to piano playing every while studeing day
still at it going strong hehe
Very nice, hopefully a violin/chello mix will apear in the future aswell.
immersion. desperate nights call for this to quell the mind into a state of quiet isolation, emptiness cradling a broken body and spirit into a little death, the vapid serenity of sleep... an equally beautiful and ruinous account of shattered spirit.
This is what I need to listen to while writing. I am glad that I didn't have to look far...
Gorgeous selection again, thank you Cryo! I even found some of my favorites (Flowers, Atrium Carceri ) in here. This playlist is going to run in a loop on my end :)
I looked for music like that since years. Thx a lot
I love dark spooky sad ambient music. I find it to be the most pretty sounding music.
The first track with the woman sad singing is great. More of this please! :)
Haunting !! i like how this one is more balance and has more melody and light, than some of the other CRYOCHAMBER stuff. The other CRYOCHAMBER stuff has too much dark stuff, like entire albums is all super dark, and i guess is fine, but i like albums that are more balance within the dark and the light
just wow, for people who listen to the sounds being played
Such a beauty... love the mix!...
This is incredible. Absolutely.
The opening track from The Old City is most haunting.
cryo chamber is my new favorite thing
Epic. I keep coming back to this and throwing it on loop.
I'm writing a book, and this is perfect, I imagine all with this music in backgrounds
